They were just amazing. Their communication before the job was excellent, I had a ton of questions, and Marcy always answered me right away. Then the communication when the job started was great, letting me know who was coming to my house and when they would be there. Alex and Joseph were fabulous. Very polite and respectful. I really felt like they were doing their best to get me into my home - they did not treat this like just a job site. I felt like they cared that this was going to be my home and they wanted to do the work and do it right! They kept me up to date on all the progress. Just cannot recommend CMC Electric enough. We hired CMC Electric for some Ethernet cabling, and the process was seamless from start to finish. Scheduling the appointment was straightforward, and the communication from the CMC office was excellent both before and on the day of the service. Our technician, Andrew, arrived punctually and was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. After a quick assessment, he laid out a clear plan for the work. The project was completed promptly, and Andrew ensured everything was cleaned up afterward. Additionally, the price was reasonable. This is our second time using CMC Electric, and theyve consistently provided exceptional service.

My first impression was good. The woman (Marcy maybe?) was not a moron and didnt treat me like one, either. The tech, who served in Afghanistan, was personable and diagnosed the problem very, very quickly. Turns out it was Amerens, and he spoke on the phone to them to make sure the problem was relayed well. An apprentice came, too (a woman! YAYAYAY!!!!). The tech was interested in an old stereo we have: he is welcome to come get it.

I called CMC for a tripped circuit breaker that would not reset. They could not come for about 5 days, understandable, I had guests coming over that weekend and that was the room with no power. Marcie called me that afternoon and said one of their technicians got done early and he came out that afternoon and it was a bad breaker. Fixed within 10 mins. Thank you Marcie and CMC for the outstanding work as usual and for fitting me in today. I have used CMC for many projects and have not been disappointed.

I spent five years trying to find a company to install a Generac Generator at my home. I contacted other companies who never called back, came over to give estimate in the job and never followed through, or clearly didn’t want the job due to the outrageously high bids. I was referred to CMC electric. I contacted them and they set an estimate appt date. I was emailed that same day with all pertinent information. They showed up on time, we’re very professional, and explained their bidding process. I received the estimate within a few days and booked the job. Everything went smoothly over the three day install process. They coordinated the arrival of the other utilities and even registered my generator for warranty purposes. I don’t usually post online recommendations but this company kept its promise and delivered exceptional, professional service during all phases of the job.

Our technician, Kyle, did a great job installing a ceiling fan for us! We had 70’s wiring where the outlets in our bedroom were wired to the light switch and we had no overhead lighting or fan. The fan was installed and the outlets were taken off the switch within 2 hours, and they are affordable! Very happy with the finished product and will be using them again!

I highly recommend the team at CMC Electric, Inc. and specifically their tech, Kyle for the work he did in our kitchen today! He is definitely a wonderful troubleshooter. Kyle is very personable and easy to chat with while he’s working. Marcy (though I’ve never actually met her) has been fantastic with communication for scheduling!Kyle had been out to our house for some troublesome wiring back in November, and while he was here for that job we discussed the possibility of adding a light in the center of our kitchen (I have no idea how people have lived in this house over the last 35 years with no ceiling light!). What he thought would be a relatively simple wiring job to reach the spot for the new light turned into a real head scratcher after he got into the attic and learned that our vaulted ceiling had been constructed with no gap between the finished ceiling and the roof trusses for easy wire fishing. And it was filled with styrofoam.Thankfully, Kyle knew about a fancy 3-way switch option from Lutron that only needs to be wired at one of the switches and the other is basically a battery operated Bluetooth remote. If we had to hardwire for a 3-way switch, we would have needed to cut a channel out of the ceiling all the way across the dining room and kitchen! But now, thanks to Kyle’s knowledge and expertise, we only have two small patches that need to be done, and once we find a fixture I like I’ll finally have a kitchen light!

My fuse box was acting Unusual when the air conditioner kicked on. Around noon, I heard a loud noise. Came down stairs and the ceiling was covered with smoke. Turned off the a/c switch and called CMC. The receptionist answered and was very professional and honest that they might not get to me but will try every effort to.2 hours later Kyle and Daniel rolled up to the house and new what was wrong once they smelled the electric burn. Replaced the switch on the panel. Great people and very down to earth. Thankyou guys

OK, so where to commence.........Recently, I received service for some “electrical issues”. I have been probing around the St. Louis and IL side for an affordable, yet professional/accommodating service. I stumbled upon this place and noticed all the training and self-improvement that goes into this facility becoming better over time. I also noticed a lot of the reviews left previous, as that is a big point that I look for, and I saw many pleasant reviews. The exception of the few on here that are one star I see are ridiculous. We as people are not perfect and sometimes things slip through the cracks. In the Marine Corps we are taught to follow up. If you are not getting a call back about a quote that you were told would receive a call back, then maybe call them. Again, no one is perfect.Upon the electrician’s arrival, I was greeted with such professionalism. Not only was they on time to the “between 12-2 appointment”, but they were early. This continued throughout the remainder of the period I was there with the upstanding professionalism. My electrician’s name was Kyle. I have employed many people before, as well as recruited many people into the Marine Corps. With that said, the big thing I noticed was the continuous rapport (bond/friendship) that was being constructed. It is very sad to see some people that own a business yet not take pride in knowing their clienteles. Most think that enjoying what they do is it and should be enough. The idea is to help us enjoy your craft/skill as well, and to accommodate us in a fashion that best suits the situation. I received Kyle’s work with an uncluttered mind and wanted to make sure the atmosphere was not only enjoyable for me, but for both parties.Skill level on a scale of 1-10 is 1000. “Ask and you shall receive” type of care was given. The amount of care that was substantial. Just when I thought that it was going to be a difficult task, Kyle made it all come together and look easy. It was amazing to watch him pause and vision how the house was wired like watching “Dr House” from the television series visualize how to operate and find the cure.So, I wrap up this long review in hope that you read this through its entirety. All in all, I found my go-to-place, and I will be back. I will also recommend to anyone I know, as I already have after heading home from my appointment. And, that person just received service and thanked me for recommending them. Also, they just so happened to receive KYLE!! Carrie and Michael and a great business going here.
