    Jerome was very knowledgeable and extremely professional. He had our problem fixed within 5 minutes and the cost was very reasonable. Emily is also wonderful to work with. She made sure we knew that Jerome was on his way which was great and she was also very sweet and professional.! Overall, excellent experience!     This is our second experience with Hudson Plumbing, and it was, again, an urgent situation. They were able to get to us the next business day (they offer emergency service, which could have been even sooner, but we were fine to wait). We were given a window of arrival for our appointment, and we received an email with the technicians name and photo.As the window for our appointment neared, we received a call letting us know Travis would be arriving in 40 minutes - and he was early by 10 minutes or so. So much better than the days of waiting all day for the eventual arrival near the end of the day.Travis inspected things inside and outside - wearing booties to protect our floors. Another unexpected thing, and much appreciated as it had rained recently, leaving it muddy outside.After explaining the likely cause of our problem and proposing the steps to fix it, he explained the pricing, we agreed, and he got started.Travis was finished clearing the drain quicker than we expected. Everything was tested, and the drains were flowing quite well. The pipe that was clogged is an old cast iron one that should be replaced. We have hard water and those minerals love to stick to the cast iron much more than they do to the PVC. We can handle that job, though Hudson Plumbing is available to do that should we need them.We will not hesitate to use them again for our plumbing needs, big or small, that are beyond our abilities. They deliver above and beyond our expectations.

    Nate of Hudson Plumbing took care of our tankless water heater issue very quickly and two leaky pipe connections in the same trip. They got here less than 24 hours from the time we asked for help. He remained for a few minutes to ensure the issues were indeed taken care of. He was also very careful of our floors while doing so.     Trust your plumber, they say. Let me tell you a story about trust.We live in a 100 year old farm house that has been through countless renovations over the years, and somehow wound up with only a cold water supply line to the kitchen sink. Hudson has replaced a small tankless water heater under that sink in the past for us, and when it failed again this year, we started considering alternatives. We could stick with the same plan, and expect to be replacing this appliance every few years, we could try to squeeze in a small water heater tank under the sink, or we could thing big picture and see what it would take to run a new hot water line from elsewhere in the home to the kitchen.We chose the last route, as you might imagine, but the crew that came out to do the work came back inside shortly after exploring the crawl space and said it couldnt be done, that the crawlspace was just too tight and full of ductwork to get to where they needed to get to. And I couldnt doubt them - the crawlspace is exactly as they described, and I certainly wasnt going to even get close to making it happen. Back to option Aā€¦ for a third time.A few days before the install date, we had an annual termite inspection done on the crawlspace, and when he came back to the house after doing the inspection, I casually asked him about getting to the back of the house where the kitchen is at. He confirmed how tight it was, but also that he was able to do what he needed to do.And here is where we get to the trust factor. I trust my plumber. Itā€™s both a state of mind based on past experiences, and itā€™s a state of the will because it was now time for me to either go with what theyā€™d told me or push back harder for another attempt. We chose the latter, and I was pleasantly met with feedback of ā€œweā€™d be glad to try againā€ and ā€œmaybe we missed something.ā€Today, Iā€™m happy to report we have a dedicated hot water line running to my kitchen sink. The techs had to get creative, and we had to make a couple cosmetic sacrifices to get the job done, but all of that pales in comparison to the result.Thank you, Hudson Plumbing, for not only being trustworthy with the work I sent you, but for also trusting ME through this ordeal as Iā€™ve pushed you beyond the bounds of normal work into very creative (and cramped) creative problem solving.

    Jerome was awesome. I called in a panic as I had an outside hydrant that was leaking and needed repair.     John, Bryan, Travis, and Tim from Hudson Plumbing were wonderful to work with! The main water line between my house and the meter busted, and they were able to get me on their schedule very quickly. John took the time to walk me through all of my options, explaining exactly what each would entail and cost before they proceeded with any work. I really, really, really appreciated that he wasnt trying to sell me on things I didnt need. This is something Ive experienced a lot with other businesses, and unfortunately come to expect, so it was refreshing to have someone shoot straight with me. It left me feeling very confident about the process even after a few unexpected hang-ups (all related to existing hidden structures on the property, not anything they did!). The crew was extremely friendly, professional, and efficient. I will absolutely use them again in the future and have already referred them to family members!

    John was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain what was going on with my water pressure and the sulfer smell I was having issues with. He told me what had to be done to fix it, but didnā€™t try to add anything that wasnā€™t needed. I found him extremely honest and hard working. He also was able to get my current water softener working properly and made sure I felt comfortable with everything I had done. At the end, he again took the time to explain how the new filter system worked and how to change it when I needed to. Things by far one of the best experiences I have had with a plumber.

    Our 20 year old water heater finally gave out and started leaking, so time for a new one. One call to Hudson and they came to investigate if repair was possible. We agreed it needed replaced and was given a price, which might have been a bit higher than the big box stores, but same day service and professionalism is worth a bit more.Justin and David, the installerā€™s were A++ Awesome. They arrived promptly, had the old heater out and new one installed within an hour and a half! They used a shop-vac to clean the area before installing the new one and mopped the residual water up.They were very thorough going over the removal and installation, purging lines and assuring the new heater was producing hot water and leak free before leaving. Other than a new water heater youā€™d never have known they were here.Overall a great experience with Hudson plumbing and would highly recommend, especially Justin and David!Did I mention SAME DAY SERVICE!

    We recently decided to replace our kitchen sink faucet and garbage disposal and a bathroom sink faucet. After doing some pre-online shopping we visited Hudsons showroom. They have an excellent selection of choices and they were able to fulfill our needs and make suggestions that we hadnt thought about. Installation day was scheduled sooner than we expected, which was much appreciated. Brad, the installer, was very efficient, professional, and pleasant to work with, and he finished in a very timely manner.

    Today we had Nathan replace our water softener which was not working. The work was done quickly and we were pleased with the completeness of the job. Old valves and drain tubes were replaced. The old equipment was removed. The new unit was tested and in working condition. when he finished. The bypass vales are much simpler to use than in the previous setup for when we want to water outside. Great work again....

    Tim and Travis were the most recent team members from Hudson Plumbing to serve at our house and they were professional, kind, and informative. With that said, the excellent service received from HP starts when you call and it does not stop throughout the process. Detailed and positive customer service is clearly a goal evidenced by engagement on the phone, text alerts, onsite service, and follow-up.Additionally, it is important to note that after our most recent service call I had some follow-up questions. I was quickly put in touch with a service manager who was kind, informed on the previous job details (which was not done poorly by the way), and eager to be a collaborator. He listened to me, knew I was also approaching with kindness, and was willing to work together on a solution. They came out this week and the additional service I paid for was fair and reasonable.I highly recommend!

    I cannot sing my praises loud enough, but I will be singing them in a hot shower tonight!! We noticed our water heater was going out over Christmas. Unfortunately we called another company who shall remain nameless (but rhymes with Foolie). They were scheduled to come out 2 weeks later and then cancelled because of bad weather (40* and raining). John Norris came out that day, gave us a new and space saving solution for a comparable price (given the space we would be saving). For the weekend he showed us a short term solution.     We recently used Hudson for the first time, and we were VERY pleased. We had a clog in our main line, and needed a clean out access installed as well. Chad Parsley and his partner(sorry I cannot recall his name) arrived at my residence and immediately went to work. Both were very professional and knowledgeable.Chad was very thorough in explaining what our issue was, and how they would be fixing it. Before I knew it, they had the clog fixed, clean out installed, and had everything back the way it was.     A water softener seal broke over night and flooded my basement. I originally had no idea what had happened to cause the leak. I was able to contact Hudson and explain the situation and they were able to send someone to my home within 3 hours of my call. At that point, the failed seal was identified, and they immediately contacted the softener manufacturer to ask about a warranty, which, I qaulified for. My water pressure was tested, and i also discovered That the water pressure was about 25 psi higher than optimum range. I was presented with multiple options to address the issue and i was very pleased with the service and professionalism of this company.     The folks at Hudson did an excellent job and were extremely courteous and professional. I have an older home and our cast iron waste pipe started leaking. I found Hudson on Angi and they called me promptly after submitting my request. Kedge was able to squeeze me in for an estimate within a few days, and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Their estimate was not only competitive but several hundred less than the next lowest bid. Furthermore, after I accepted, they had me on the schedule 2 days later. Andrew, Bill and Dustin were the plumbers who came out and all three were excellent. I anticipated a day and a half but they cut out and replaced all the cast iron, cut a new outlet in the wall, dug up the old pipe outside my house and ran new pipe to my septic in less than a day. After they left I noticed a small leak that looked like the glue didnt fully set. I called the next morning and they had someone out to seal it up within an hour, no questions asked. With everything going on nowadays its really nice to deal with quality companies that can still get the job done. Id definitely recommend Hudson to anyone who asks. I sleep a lot better not having to worry how much longer my waste pipe will hold out.Thanks guys!

    Last year my shower faucet failed in my modular home. I stopped in at Hudsons and Keaton sent a guy out to cap off the faucet while he ordered a new replacement faucet. When the new faucet came in his guy came out and installed the new faucet. They charged for only one service call. So naturally this year when I suspected a water main line leak, I talked to Keaton again and he sent out a guy to determine where the leak was. The next day another crew showed up and quickly dug up and found the main line, repaired the leak and restored my service and returned my yard as they found it.     I thought I just needed the wax ring replaced on a toilet, but after Chad looked at it, saw the pipe was corroded and had come apart in the crawl space. Chad and Zach were able to repair it right then, which I greatly appreciated. They are super nice guys, did quality work, and saved me future issues, all at a very fair price.     I have used Hudson on several occasions both personally and commercially. The Hudson team is always polite, nice job of cleaning up when done, and quality of work has been very good. Specifically, they came to the rescue recently when I had a water main issue at home. Although very late in the day prior to the Holiday, they resolved the problem in time for our house full of company to be accommodated.     We needed a well pressure tank repaired for an investment property. Hudson Plumbing was very responsive and worked to address the issue promptly. After doing so, there were apparently some electrical issues that needed to be mitigated by another contractor. And after that was done, there were some issues with the quality of work completed by Hudson. Once this was brought to their attention, they promptly addressed and resolved the issues to make it right.

    What started as an underground water line leak became a two day event. Their crew discovered that at the leak was a multitude of old repairs that was in need of being removed in order for their work to be warranted. They temporarily patched the leaking area.They returned and dug up a 10 foot area and had the proper repairs done before noon. Pictures were taken during the process and the work procedures explained thoroughly. Kudos to their crew. They were polite, respectful, patient with my questions and (most important) well versed in their work. Cleanup of the work area was great.The final billing was fair for the amount of work done.     Hudson Plumbing replaced the interior water lines with pex and replaced the drain lines from the kitchen, laundry room and both baths all the way to the septic tank.     Before he came, the tech called and gave us his name and an approximate arrival time. Chris arrived shortly and went directly to work. As he worked, he explained to us what was happening and what the possible fixes might be. He determined the issue and did what was needed to fix the problem.     I chose Hudson because they were by far the cheapest plumber with the best reviews. I originally wanted a tankless system, but after talking with Keaton he explained to me the pros and cons of a tankless water heater system. I chose to go with a larger, traditional tank water heater. Pricing was a lot cheaper than the competitors and the entire crew at Hudson were extremely nice and willing to help me in any way possible. Chad and Nicholas came out to install and it took them just over an hour and itā€™s been working great since they left. I will definitely be calling them again for any of my plumbing needs.

    After realizing the shut off valves were frozen stiff while installing a new washing machine, I called Hudson Plumbing around 11:00 am AFTER calling 3 other Plumbing business who either put me off or could only schedule me out 3-4 days. When talking to Lindsey with Hudson Plumbing, she said she would try to get me in the afternoon. At 1:00pm, (same day), Nick K. showed up and replaced both valves in 30 minutes. THEN, he helped me take out the old washer and install the new one. This company will ALWAYS have my business going forward.
