    We’ve had our generator for about 5 years now. Corbin Electrical Services did the install and has been doing the maintenance ever since. We couldn’t be happier!     If you need electrical work, there is no better contractor than Corbin Electric. They installed my EV Charger, as well as a subpanel. Everything was done as promised, they used quality products, left the place just as clean as before they started the work and obtained all permits and approvals. Also, they always communicated, and performed the work when they said they would. Lastly, they are very knowledgeable and their rates are competitive. Honestly what else can you ask of a contractor? As soon as it was installed, we learned about Corbins generator annual maintenance and we have had it for over 10 years.     I used Corbin Electrical Services to perform scheduled maintenance on my Generac 20kW standby generator... I have used them in the past with some mixed results & decided to give them another try. As before they sent a junior technician who is not all that familiar with the unit. Technician replaced $25 (Amazon) oil pressure switch in 5 minutes for which I was charged $145 in addition to $320 for major service.Update - company representative reached out to me & we had a constructive discussion about the costs of services performed & their value to me as a customer. My feedback was well received & hopefully it results in improvements which would keep me a regular customer for a long time... If given a reasonable choice, I would always prefer to choose local businesses in Marlboro community.

    Corbin provided and continues to provide wonderful service for our Generator. Installation was amazing and they made it so easy. Their maintenance program is great and earlier this year we had Mike come out to fix a small issue. He was so great, explained everything very thoroughly, and even fixed the way the generator was sitting on the concrete so that it made less noise. We have had nothing but a wonderful experience with them. Highly Recommend!

    I had a generator installed by Generac in 2021 and it was a one of the best decisions I ever made! It has made my life so much easier! It is very good quality. I never have to worry about a power outage! If the power goes out, it comes on immediately. Every Wednesday at noon, it also comes on for a few minutes as a way of maintaining it. Corbin also has great maintenance plans to keep it running efficiently. I highly recommend this company and this generator!

    If you want a generator installed correctly ,call Corbin Electrical Services. There sales person Matt knows his product, they deal with Home Depot and GENERAC Generator. I needed a whole house generator because my wife is on oxygen 24 hours a day. Matt and there great staff in the office did all the paper work for the installation process and dealing with Tinton Falls for all the permits. The electrical portion was done in one day, by two great installers, I was told in advance that we would be with out electricity for at least 4 or more hours. I was prepared to put my wife on a portable oxygen machine. The installers assured us that they would provide us with a temporary extension cord for my wifes concentrator. That was a relief for both of us. The rest of installation was completed in a timely matter. Each step of the process I was well informed, that was something I really appreciated. If youre looking for electrical work to be done, trust me, call Corbin Electrical Services you wont go wrong.5-6-2024:Well its been 5 months since I had my GENERAC installed and it was time for a service visit to do maintenance on it. They sent Andre, he came well before our appointment, he introduced himself and told me what he was going to do. He preformed his job and completed it in a timely matter. He preformed a complete shutdown test from the electric service ,so the generator will turn on to provide electric to my house. It worked like a charm. Andre completed everything and sent me an email of all the work he did. My next services will be again in 6 months, and Im sure I will renew my maintenance with CORBIN ELECTRIC SERVICES.P.S.: Im posting more pictures because Tinton Falls rules are you must conceal your generator from the public.

I have done so since they installed it a few years ago.I continue to use them because they provide excellent service and are very knowledgeable and reliable.The techs are efficient and very thorough.Recently I had an issue with my system after an outage. They arrived the same day I called them and fixed the problem in minutes.The office staff is also friendly and competent.I recommend Corbin without reservation.

    Generator techs were efficient and happy to explain their work, check all the details and provide some extra oil in case of emergency usage. They were great at cleaning off the space, too, and making sure the cabinet was securely locked! They did let my generator monitoring app on the phone lapse for a bit, was able to call and get that squared away, though.

    Weve had our Generac 8KV since 2017. It reliably comes on for a test run every Thursday. We have used Corbins maintenance service since then. Technicians have been excellent, no need to be home for service. Other than 1 battery replacement, weve had no other issues.

The 1st time the power went out I didnt even know it happened until I realized that the Generator was running.     After many, many years of dealing with my local Electric Company power outages, in September of 2022, I contracted with Corbin Electrical Services, Inc. for the purchase, installation, and maintenance of a Generac Automatic Standby Generator. I selected the Generac Generator because I have worked at Home Depot for several years, and Generac is the brand that they generally recommend, and in addition I have several of my neighbors/relatives who have had them installed over the years and are very satisfied with the results.As it has now been about 1½ years since the completion of my Generac generator installation and several maintenance visits, I feel it is important that I mention that this project/purchase is one of the smartest things that I’ve done in my 76+ years……first, because I chose Generac, and second because I chose Corbin Electric as my Generac Dealer for the installation and maintenance of this system! Although I have had smaller, portable generators in the past, the Generac Automatic Standby Generator System provides seamless electric power to my entire home without any interruptions, and nothing for me to do! Since my first contact with Corbin, they have stood by me every step of the way, and this generator has never failed!Although in the first 7 months after the generator installation was complete, we had no Electric Company outages, in the last 12 months we’ve had about 8 Electric Company outages, with 5 of them occurring in 5 straight days!!     My nine year old Generac generator stopped working. The company that was servicing it told me they couldnt service it since it wasnt running. They told me I probably needed a new generator. I contacted another company and was told my generator required a part. The electrician came with the part but still couldnt get it running. I called Corbin and took a one year maintenance agreement. A representative can out. His name was Mike. The first thing he said to me was Im here to get your generator running. Within an hour my generator was running and no parts were needed.

    Corbin Electric installed my whole house Generac in September of 2022.I have a maintenance contract with Corbin for twice a year. They are very professional, respectful and helpful. I also love the Mobil Link. If I am not home I can check to see if my Generac is running or ready to run. I get a monthly summary email. Every time my generator is serviced I get an e-mail report of the maintenance.I always get an email of who is coming and when.I highly recommend Corbin for peace of mind and comfort during a power outage.

    Corbin Electric is a solid company with well trained professionals. The office staff and every level of worker up to the head supervisors are pleasant and each goes above and beyond to ensure an exceptional experience. I initially hired them to install all my light fixtures on a new home purchase.     I call Corbin for all my electrical work. They had to come out and replace a RING floodlight camera for me that was under warranty (LED lights burnt out in < 1 year and is not a bulb that can just be unscrewed and replaced). Unfortunately, Ring does NOT cover the labor for their defective part! Corbin came out and did the work at their minimum call out charge. Work was done quickly, efficiently and neatly! Corbin is fair and provides quality work!

    Corbin Electrical Services has been providing regular maintenance for the past sven years on our Generac whole house generator. Semi-annual notices are provided timely, and the company is very flexible on appointment dates and times. The technicians we have met over the years have always been cordial, knowledgeable and ready to answer fully any questions I may have about the system. Fortunately it has never been necesary to contact the company for repairs between regular maintenance visits, and while it has not been called upon very frequently the systen kicks in promptly as designed whenever power failures have occurred.     When we had a Generac installed a year ago, we chose Corbin because they were the only business that could figure out how to configure a system where the generator could not be placed very close to the main power box AND they had the best price to boot. Everything worked fine for the first year with all the connections, though thankfully we had no power outages. This year when we opened our air conditioners, one would not start. Had the AC checked and the problem was found to be the box linking the AC and the generator. Corbin sent a technician the same day. He first said there was no problem with shredder box, but with my continued questioning and going over our testing in detail to show the problem was intermittent, he buckled down to check the two boxes step by step. Ended up finding loose wiring that was shifting in the power box so sometimes power got through and sometimes not. He acknowledged that the issue resulted from their installation then thoroughly checked both the power and the shredder box and tightened all the wiring connections. Because we take care of basic maintenance on the ACs ourselves, he took the time to explain the wiring, connections, and functions in each box in detail. This plus the timely and competent repair are much appreciated.

    I should have done this years ago.All the Corbin employees from the salesman to the gas line installer to the electricians and the back office were knowledgeable and polite. The generator was installed and running on Wednesday (Jan 3). The following Tuesday we had a bad storm and power went out for 13 hours. The generator kicked in almost immediately and when power was restored the generator immediately switched back This is much better than pulling out my portable generator, filing it with gas, and fooling around with extension cords.     Corbin installed my generator last year and did a good job with the installation though there were some issues with the original location selected by the salesperson. The issue got resolved quickly but introduced additional costs that I wasnt prepared for. The technicians were professional and knowledgeable but the administrative person that I dealt with on the phone while trying to get the additional cost reduced was not professional. She was very rude and disrespectful. Overall a good experience with the permitting, installation and post install service.

    I have been using Corbin Electric for years for a variety of electrical services. They have always been prompt in their service, and have always stood behind their work. When health problems with my wife caused me to need a whole house generator, they managed the whole installation in 2 days. That included routing the electrical line from one side of the house to the other and the coordination of installing new gas lines with the plumbers. It was a flawless installation and has been working perfectly ever since. Their semi-annual maintenance visits have kept the generator in top condition.     COMPANY SERVICE IS GREAT EXCEPT WHEN THE TECHNICIAN FOUND OUT WE HAVE A BROKEN PART DURING SERVICE MAINTANCE THAT WOULD COST $25. IT TOOK 10 MINUTES TO REPLACE. HE HAD THE PART WITH HIM IN THE TRUCK. HE CALLED THE COMPANY AND WAS TOLD IF HE REPLACED THAT ON SITE, SERVICE CHARGE WOULD BE OVER $120 PLUS $25 FOR THE PART. AS A MATTER OF PRINCIPAL AND TIGHT BUDGET, I THINK THE COST IS TOO HARD TO SWALLOW. WE DECLINED TO DO ON THE SPOT, WHICH WE WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE IT DONE RIGHT AWAY IF THE COST IS MORE REAONSABLE SINCE THE TECHICIAN IS ALREADY THERE. WE ORDERED A GENUINE PART FROM AMAZON WHICH COST $35.00 OVERNIGHT. IT DID TAKE US 15 MINUTES TO INSTALL. THE DAY AFTER THE PART WAS RELACED, THERE HAPPENED TO BE 10 HOUR POWER FAILURE. WE WER LUCKY ME MADE IT. MAYBE WE SHOULD NOT TAKE A CHANCE. BUT AS OF THAT MOMENT, WE CONSIDER THE CHARGE OVERLY EXCESSIVE AND WE DECLINE. MAYBE WE ARE CHEAP?
