    From start to finish it was a prompt, friendly and professional experience. I was pleasantly surprised that they could fit me in for service in early afternoon same day. I was sent text updates with tech ETA with regularity. Technician Matt Werdeo diagnosed issue within 20 minutes and then within the next hour and a half (including a drive across town to pick up a part) had our furnace back online. Huge relief, nothing scarier than waking up to dead furnace when the temps are in the teens. Thank you, service was spectacular!

    From recommendations from friends, I knew this would be a positive experience. Larry took care of our pump problem and ran through the furnace once over. He called me to verify the nature of the leaking pump and noticed a leaking plastic pan inside the furnace which needs to be replaced as well. They will need to order that part. I was glad to have a price quoted over the phone for the repairs, avoiding a surprise. The work area was clean when.he left, and both cats were still in the house. Thank you.

    I had a great experience with my service tech Matt. He was very thorough in checking out why my a/c unit wasnt working for me. Once we figured out what the issue was, Matt then advised me what to do going forward to maintain my system running smoothly. Great customer service and wonderful service tech. I will definitely use this company when it comes time to replace my units.

    Completely removed and replaced 1950s installed ventilation ducting plus 1998 furnace, installed new Bryant heating system and extended ducting and heat to a converted carport (now another room for the home). Job was booked as 4 day install, but was completed in 3 days. Everyone knew their work, regardless what that task. Now this home a properly designed and installed heating system, which should last for many years. Thank you to the entire team from Smokey Barbier!

    This was my first time using them and I was referred by my mom who used them for the last 35 years, my grandparents also used them before my mom for many years. I Had an emergency visit due to carbon monoxide detectors going off and a gas leak that was detected. Kory came that afternoon and straightened everything out for us. Very professional, very informative, answered all my questions, created an overall great experience and I will use this company in the future!     I called Monday to get an estimate to have air conditioning put in the upper level of our home and also for a technician to come out and check the Freon level in our central air on the lower level. They got me set up with appointments that happened Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday Cassie came out for the estimate and she was very professional she took pictures and will email the estimate. Then on Wednesday Matt came out to check the Freon in our unit. He cleaned it and changed the filter. He was very kind through and professional. I will definitely use them again for our needs!

    This was my first experience using Smokey Barbier and Im beyond impressed. They were very responsive - my heat was out and they had someone there within an hour. The technician was efficient, knowledgeable, and able to explain things in simple terms. They also identified an issue with the furnace that was under warranty and came back to fix it within 2 days. Again, scheduling was easy, fast, and the work was done in half the time they originally stated. I will definitely be using them again in the future!

    I just asked Google for a heating and cooling company near me. I called the first one that came up not realizing that your business is located out of Manitowoc and not Plymouth. I was quoted a time of 2-3 hours till a tech would be able to make it to our home in Plymouth. I made the call and when the tech arrived I was at work. The other half was home. Tech wasnt able to do a complete fix however was able to do a bypass till he would be able to come the next day with the part. I was at work for 8 hours dreading to come home to a cold home. I walked in the door at 11pm thinking Ill be cold. So, grateful Im not. Ill tell you more after the bad part is replaced.

    This was a 2nd opinion. I wanted to go with a local company rather than the one the warranty company recommended. I am so glad I did. My tech was honest and forthcoming. Told me the steps we needed to take to fix this and what could arise in the future. I appreciated his candor and I am so very pleased with the service. For the first time in a couple of months my thermostat is actually going down and cooling off slowly. Lets hope this is all that comes up for the rest of the summer.     Arrived in a reasonable time to get my furnace working. He thought it was the inducer and put on a new one. Turned out that wasnt it. Furnace needed a new motherboard. Both parts were at the shop and someone drove the parts two separate times to my house.Before I could ask if they could put the old inducer back on (they cost big $$$...it was already switched back!! The new one was back in the box!! So they arent trying make more money.Gained my trust on that one!!!Highly recommended!!Ill be a customer for a long time.

    Most everything that I experienced was positive as a business owner, the only thing I might suggest if its possible and this time of in our country not to act so rushed when you act like in a hurry,it makes you start wondering if they checked everything.     I left a message after hours one night regarding our central air not working (not urgent). They called me right away the next morning, had someone come out the same afternoon and we were back in business! Reasonable price, very pleased. My only suggestion would be to improve responsiveness from online/social media inquiries as its highly utilized by people today (a satisfier) and they may miss out on business of they cant respond promptly. Will definitely use their services again!

The process was so easy- paperwork was done virtually - I never had to leave the house.     There were amazing to work with. From setting up the appointment, to the consultation on the equipment that we needed (with no pushing on what we need or should get) to a very short amount of time when the equipment arrived and installed, everything was amazing! The installers were very professional and worried about making a mess in the house (it had snowed that morning). They cleaned up when they were done, it was like they were never there, besides a new furnace and AC unit.

    I could not be happier with my experience with Smokey Barbier! The customer service is outstanding!! I went to turn my furnace on and it would not light. Called one company for a diagnosis/repair estimate. Was told furnace was not repairable. Was given a quote to replace. Call SB and they came the next day and quoted me a furnace replacement $1100 less than the first with, in my opinion, a better furnace. Gave the go ahead on a Friday and they were here Tuesday replacing the furnace! And they did a great job and the installers were awesome! I highly recommend this company for your hvac needs! Would recommend them to anyone!

    Chris and Dave did a wonderful job installing our new furnace. Both guys were very nice and super efficient. They were able to get the job done in a shorter time frame than I expected. They made sure the area they were working in was as clean as before they started. Chris did a great job going over the new furnace with me and my husband as well as our new thermostat. He was also able to help me get the phone app for my thermostat up and running and was able to show me how to use the app on my phone as well. Dave asked me how I wanted my thermostat to look on the wall since everyone has different preferences.     Our furnace went out and we called Barbier. We didnt buy the system from them but the place we bought it from wasnt answering our voicemails. Barbier was more than happy to help us and sent Ryan over the same day. Ryan did a great job. There were two pieces that needed to be replaced. He was very polite, explained and showed me why it wasnt working. They had one piece on hand and had to order the other one but was able to fix it until the part comes in.     Smokey Barbier replaced an air conditioner system in our house with a new system in two days. Some of the component items were outside of our house and the other component items are up in our attic. The work was completed without a flaw by their team of technicians and we had our unit running by 3:30 the second day.     Contacted Smoky Barbier Heating because my central air was freezing up and not working. They sent Chris Karbowski over within an hour or so. He troubleshot the system and discovered the AC wiring was not hooked up correctly for our system and that the April air humidifier bypass had left a vent open causing the AC coil to freeze up. He was super courteous, professional and explained everything he was doing step by step. His knowledge saved me thousands of dollars on a quote from another company for a new air conditioner after they told me that my system was not economically repairable and I should think about new central air.

Kory came promptly and our pipe on the roof was frozen. He climbed up on the roof and thawed the pipe. We asked Kory about piping the furnace out the side of the house so we can check it when the weather is cold and he made a note to give us a quote.     The need to replace our furnace came at a challenging time for us financially but the service we received from Smokey Barbier could not have been better! The day our elderly furnace cut out, they sent Kory, who diagnosed our issue, presented options and took the time to educate us regarding HVAC systems. This is a company that does not cut corners; the job was meticulously done. They added a vent in the basement at our request and we were impressed with the work.
