    OHI was extremely professional and detailed when helping us plan our new kitchen. From the beginning, they listened to our wants and design wish list and then turned that into a reality! The crew of workers was excellent and we truly enjoyed having them in our home working. My husband and I couldnt be happier with the final result and still are awestruck by how wonderful the completed project turned out! Thanks a million for making my kitchen dreams come true!

    Our project was to create a great room for our post-war split-level house and a new kitchen. We removed a closet in the middle of the main level and relocated the air intake. Additionally removed the attic/crawl space and vaulted the ceiling which was my dream: to have more than 8 foot ceilings!OHI Design listened to all of our requirements, created a wonderful design and then communicated with us at every step of the process. They really learned and understood our taste, which was important because we didnt know where to begin with some of the decisions we needed to make.The contractor team who worked on our job worked as if it was their own home— the attention to detail at every step was incredible. They kept approximately 9:00-5:30 schedule daily, with a plan each day that they communicated to us, leaving time to clean at the end of the work day.Our neighbors made sure to tell us they appreciated our contractors as well--they were very respectful of the neighborhood.ALSO they said our project would take 2-3 months to complete. I didn’t believe that because friends experience suggests that means 4-6 months. In pandemic times with covid delays, they completed the job in 11 weeks.We are so excited and inspired by this project that we are starting outdoor work with OHI next week!

    Full kitchen remodel with some modifications to the existing room. This project was not a simple remove and replace. What a difference! New kitchen looks AWESOME. Let’s be honest, the Internet is packed with kitchen remodeling nightmares. And researching local vendors was giving us concern, until we met with Whitney and Scott from OHI Design. Up front and honest. Scott kept the structure sound, giving me quality feedback surrounding my ideas and Whitney provided solid design and creative solutions. Great ideas and great collaboration. On project start to conclusion, the installer was on-site on-time every time! Whitney stayed connected with us talking through minor changes, etc. Great communication with PM Herb. Definitely hire again.

    After reviewing several companies for a kitchen remodel, we were impressed with the design, level of professionalism, and dedication from OHI. They gave us their initial design and we made a few adjustments. We worked together and they listened and were able to come through on each and every aspect of the remodel. Whitney was such a pleasure to work with and gave us great design ideas. We even picked out our kitchen countertops and came over budget but Whitney was able to get them to come down to a lower price to fit our budget. And we got the remodel done on time with a pandemic going on! I would work with OHI design again and recommend the entire team. Thank you all for the hard work you put into every project!

    We are so grateful that we found OHI Design to design and execute our kitchen remodel. The communication was wonderful between the entire team, even the owner was in contact with us to make sure we were happy with everything. We loved that they are family owned and operated and it was obvious they put the home owners experience first. Our kitchen turned out beautifully and was complete in time for us to host a huge Thanksgiving dinner. We would definitely recommend them to anyone and can’t wait to have them back to do our bathroom soon!

    Our family has used OHI several times now for home renovation projects including both kitchen and bath. OHI recently renovated our kitchen and we could not be more pleased with the finished project. The process was easy to understand from beginning to end and not only the project manager but the owners themselves communicated with us along the way. OHI also ensures that any messes and tools are put up at the end of each day so that when we arrived home the house was in good shape to live in despite not having our kitchen. Al, Carlos and Javier who did the actual construction and carpentry work are extremely polite and answered any questions we had along the way. Al and his team do outstanding work and have great attention to detail.When OHI started our project they worked every day until the project was done. OHI and the team ensured that despite the stresses of home renovation, it was as stress free as possible. My family and I highly recommend using OHI for your home renovation projects. They treat you with respect, get the job done right and stand by their work. We have used them a few times already and will use them again for future projects.

    I really enjoyed working with OHI Design. The designers, Whitney and Scott are a husband and wife team who offered a lot of insight into my new kitchen layout ideas. I really liked the workers (shoutout to Al and his team) who were dedicated to getting everything exactly how I wanted it. There was good communication throughout the project from the project manager, the designers and the workers as they made sure all my questions were answered. Everything went off without a hitch and I am left with a wonderful new kitchen.

    I would recommend OHI Design for any project. I found OHI Design through Angie’ a list while looking for someone to redo my kitchen. The sales team,Whitney and Scott, listened to what I wanted, came back with a schematic of what they were able to do and incorporated what I wanted in the design of my new kitchen. They also worked within my budget and I did not have any unexpected costs. Herb the project manager was easy to work with and answered all my concerns, even when he was off the clock.Whitney was there every step of the way regarding all the choices from tile to cabinets to flooring. She was even present to take pics when we started demolition. The team was great to work with and supportive every step of the way. I can’t say enough. The expected dates of each phase were on target, the contractor was wonderful, and no surprise costs. The team is honest and does quality work. I truly enjoyed working with them to remodel my kitchen!! Thank you very much for taking on my project.

    We are very pleased with the work OHI Design did for us and strongly recommend them. Our remodel was quite extensive - family room and kitchen (great room), powder room, mudroom, foyer and staircase remodel. Their estimate was very reasonable and the contract was detailed. The project included gutting the kitchen, mudroom and powder room, removing tile and hardwood flooring, leveling and reinforcing the subfloors and installing large format tile. They also coffered the ceiling, installed new lighting, cabinets and rough ins for appliances. There was electrical, plumbing, drywall and ventilation work as well. (For warranty reasons, most of our appliances were installed by factory recommended installers - and even they commented on the quality of workmanship). Scott and Whitney worked closely with us throughout the project and were always very responsive. The design work and renderings were first rate. Al, Javier and Carlos worked almost every day for five months until the project was complete. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is top notch, even in things that are hidden. The result is exactly what we had hoped for.

    We are on our 3rd renovation with OHI Design. First was the kitchen, then finishing the basement and now our master bathroom. All 3 projects have turned out amazing. We have worked with Whitney and Scott on the 2 most recent projects. They are incredibly patient and responsive. Scott is willing to work the plans until they are exactly what you want. No detail it too small—he is 100% supportive of changing whatever needs to be changed so that you end up happy. Whitney is the engine that makes the process hum. She it relentless in her efforts to search high and low for every detail to make the final product perfect. She can send 15 options and if you say no—she finds 15 more. She has contacts all over NOVA who obviously love working with her and are willing to go the extra mile to get her clients what they want. And she has fantastic design ideas. The best thing ability OHI is their cost value. They charge a fraction of what CASE and other “high end” companies charge—without sacrificing any service. They are a wonderful company to work with and I can’t recommend them more highly.

    Dedicated, timely, and professional are the top three words we would use to describe OHI Design. We hired them at the end of July 2020 to do a complete remodel of our master bathroom, in which we relocated and doubled the size of our shower, upgraded to a double sink vanity, and incorporated a large linen closet in the location of our old shower. From the beginning, Scott, Whitney, Herb, Al and the rest of the OHI team brought a level of ease and professionalism to our project that far exceeded our expectations. They were always willing and able to answer any questions or address any concerns that arose during the project. You can truly tell remodeling homes is their passion and communication with their clients is of the upmost importance. Their dedication to deliver our dream bathroom even when it came to preexisting issues within our older home made us honestly feel more like family than a client. For example, the floor we had initially selected was unexpectedly back ordered, which would’ve dragged out our project an additional few weeks for it to arrive. Without hesitation, Scott and Whitney personally took it upon themselves to visit multiple stores for us so they could offer additional options before we even had a chance to worry over how this setback would impact the projected timeline for completion of our remodel. We were further impressed by Al’s superior craftsmanship and the attention to detail his entire team brought to our bathroom. They went above and beyond to complete our remodel not only within our budget but also on schedule. We also never felt safer with having work done on our home during the present pandemic. Each person who entered our home wore a mask and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. It was apparent from start to finish that their ultimate goal was to limit any inconveniences to our family during this experience. While remodeling can be stressful under even the most ideal of circumstances, remodeling during a pandemic is not only manageable with OHI Design but already has us looking at other major projects to entrust them with. We absolutely love our new master bathroom and can’t wait to work with them again due to how enjoyable they made this entire process.

    We have been wanting to remodel the bathrooms in our townhouse for some time, but were nervous about hiring a remodeling contractor. OHI was recommended to us through a long time friend and we could not be more pleased! Carmen, our design rep, made the entire process absolutely worry-free from start to finish. She took care of all the appointments with other contractors and provided a detailed, itemized contract which outlined the payment timeline and services that would be provided for each bathroom. We were given regular updates, and she and our foreman, Herb, personally came by numerous times to make sure everything was going well. As for our crew, we cannot say enough great things about Reuben and his workers. They were professional and went to great lengths to clean up after each work day. Totally AMAZING people to work with on any home remodeling project you need done!

    Gary and his crew, were beyond exceptional! From Gary’s first visit with mom, discussing ideas and price, for her budget, to bump out the kitchen... to the remodel in between and finishing.. was beyond our expectations! Mom has her dream kitchen. His response time, was quick. The crew were friendly and clean up,was as they did something.     Finally decided to give the bathroom an overall. Was referred to OHI by a friend who loved the kitchen remodel she did with them. I am so glad I close them, I love my new bathroom and now want to get my kitchen done too. Great customer service, lots of follow up, and they listened to all my ideas and brought them to life.

    So happy with Ohi! ... they listen to what you want, they incorporate and they come back to you. I had contractors tell us venting couldnt be done and ohi made it happen within regulations. I am so happy .They worked with us which was huge....and they listened...and their design was 1000% on point!

    Our multi-room home rennovation/redesign by Ray Gabler of OHI was in 2013. Were 5 stars for Ray Gabler & the entire OHI crew !!!We started at the Home Show at the Dulles Expo Center in Fall 2012. Ray Gabler worked with us over several weeks. We decided on 6-rooms inside (kitchen, eating space, pantry, laundry room, center hall, hall half bath), plus 2-rooms outside (screen porch, deck with stairs), plus new siding rennovation. All work was done to a 5-star level of quality. As with any remodeling, there were minor glitches, however, Ray & OHI were greatly accomodating in the changes to the design. Were *very* easy to work with. I would recommend Ray Gabler & OHI for any home rennovation or construction project that you might have. Thx Ray Gabler & OHI.

    OHI Design is the absolute best! Their work is high quality and precise, with wonderful design ideas and solutions. We got a few quotes and OHI Designs was by far the fairest and most straightforward. We knew exactly what we were getting and for how much, no surprises! The contractors doing the work are clean, friendly, and efficient; I kind of miss not having them around. Kitchen gut jobs are a pain to go through no matter what, but they made it so much easier. My new kitchen is absolutely amazing and Ive gotten so many compliments.

    My wife and I just had our circa 1978 townhome kitchen remodeled and updated to 2020 from OHI Design in Manassas Park, VA and we couldnt love it more! From the first day we walked in their showroom, to the finished product, it has been a complete pleasure working with Scott and Whitney. They were very easy to talk to, work with and are extremely knowledgeable about their products and the whole remodeling process, which made the whole experience a dream and all we had to do was pick the finishes and they did the rest! They were especially responsive during the whole process via email and phone calls. Plus, their crew was top notch, very courteous and professional also. We highly recommend them if you are interested in remodeling, or just some flooring, paint or home construction needs. They do it ALL! Couldnt have asked for better people to work with.     If anyone is looking for a kitchen/bath remodel in the DMV area OHI is the company. End of story. I’m not one to make recommendations often, but the wife and I just signed a contract for a full remodel after months of trying to find the right fit. We were blown away after every session and we are 100% confident we will feel the same upon project completion. Ultimately when I’m looking to hire a company to do work on my house, I’m trying to find a company who’s employees are as confident, passionate and knowledgeable about their work as I am with mine.
