I am very pleased with the amazing job Armor Fence did in building a spectacular deck and three-season room, creating a fantastic new living space for our home. Their craftsmanship is evident in every detail, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.Although we did face some initial challenges with the EZBreeze windows (the only reason we didnt give them 4 stars on this update), which didn’t function properly at first, Armor Fence worked with the window company over an extended period to find a solution. It wasnt a quick fix, but they remained persistent, and ultimately, the issues were resolved. We appreciate the effort they put into ensuring everything was made right.Their team was pleasant and great to work with from the people who set up the appointments and set everything up to the guy that came out and worked with us to design exactly what we wanted to the team that was here constructing it! Additionally, their pricing was extremely reasonable, which made the entire experience even better.Overall, the deck and three-season room have completely transformed our home, and we are very pleased with the final results. Despite the hiccups, Armor Fence demonstrated a strong commitment to making sure the job was done well. If youre looking for a company that stands by their work and cares about delivering a high-quality product, Armor Fence is a great choice!

Recently worked with Armor Fence to get a new vinyl privacy fence for my home to replace an existing chain link fence. Overall great experience! They reached out quickly to get a free estimate scheduled. Shane came by on the morning scheduled to discuss and he answered all my questions and had an estimate for me the same day. He was very thorough and very helpful through the process. The quote came out to a very reasonable total. The install date was scheduled for the following week. The workers arrived promptly that morning and finished up that day. The new fence makes a huge difference to our yard and we are very happy. Thank you Shane and team!

May 2,2024 update: Today I received a thank you card from armor fence with a nice gift card inside. They apologized for the payment hassle, thank you very much Armor Fence Co , and I’m recalling my new fence!Five stars for the fence itself, you can see the pictures and my original original post below.everything else has been absolutely dreadful and time-consuming and annoying and straight up disorganized and unprofessional.Long story short I bought a house asked my realtor to recommend a fence guy and I went with armor. The invoicing logistics and other office support is completely nonexistent. No portal or invoice is emailed to you. Even though this is how I have paid my movers, and my surveyor and my home, inspector, etc. The only piece of paper that I’ve ever gotten from our was a carbon copy of an initial estimate that the project manager put together for me. That’s it. So I go on their website to pay my deposit, well their processor sucks. I paid a deposit of 2400, and it kept declining from their site, even though I confirmed with my bank that it wasn’t on our end. Then it proceeded to charge my card six more times in the amount of $2400. So that was another city. Eventually five of those charges came out. The work was completed and a few days later I went to make another payment. Well, once again, the portal wasn’t working and it charged me another $4800 as pending and then those charges dropped off. A couple days later when I was having trouble, I called the office and talked to Cheyenne and explained what was going on and she said that she would have someone for accounting contact me. They never did. Went by and I have the project manager calling me wondering where the payment is. Well then I tell him what he says can you call the HR lady and I was like no but she can call me. I don’t know why it would be on me to help them do their invoicing and figure out what’s going on with their credit card processing….So then she sends me another link, she says oh it’s very strange. This is never happened, which I really highly doubt. So of course, then I try to make another payment and that doesn’t work. While I’m on the phone with her, I ask her for a warranty put in writing. She said oh Dean already talk to you about that. I’m not actually sure that conversation ever happened, but I asked her repeatedly for a warranty in writing and she completely disregarded and didn’t follow up with me. How professional!Then she says well why don’t you give me your credit card number over the phone and I was like well that’s not happening since you guys have already proven that you keep overcharging people peoples credit cards. Then Dean calls back, and then Dean says oh why don’t you give your credit card to me and I’ll have my assistant run it through and I’m like that’s definitely not happening.Then he says will mail a check, well. The thing is is that I moved the entire money from my savings onto my credit card to head off problems like these that might occur with contractors. That way I have some protection with my credit card company so no I am not mailing you a check, then I took more time out of my day even though I’m moving in three days, and I’m working all day to call Citibank who again said that it is their processing company at Armor Fence Co then Dean calls back a final time and says oh well you don’t have to put your security code in the portal. Except that the link that the HR person sent me ask for a security code or you can’t go any further.Guys, get it together! You need to get an invoicing system. You need to get a strong portal and you need to be following up with your clients.Let me know when your portal is fixed so that I can make this payment, I don’t have any more time to spend on this.ORIGINAL:I absolutely love my new fence! I had been searching for someone to install it and was recommended to armor fence and Dean from my realtor. Dean and his team did such an amazing job, the work was fast, clean, on time, and as promised!the price was also super competitive .

Jon and the Armor team did an amazing job with the final project! It took some time to figure out what we’d want in a fence that would aesthetically stand out in our neighborhood. We researched and got probably 10+ estimates from other companies to come out and surveyed our yard/neighborhood. In the end, finally went with Armor due to the competitive pricing and also was very detailed with the vision. Even though we kept sleeping on every little idea and kept changing what we wanted, Jon took the time to make the changes to all the bids. In the end, we’re very satisfied with the results! Highly would recommend, especially in this market. Our pup is already taking advantage of the new fence!

We contacted Clyde Wray of Armor Fence about installing a new deck and screened porch on our house. We had also contacted several other contractors. The plan that Clyde prepared was exactly what we were looking for, right down to the EZ Breeze windows for the porch! And the price he quoted was actually better than we were expecting, based on the quotes we received from other contractors.Work on the deck/porch was basically finished in 5 weeks, with the exception of the special-order EZ Breeze windows. However, as soon as the windows were delivered, the guys from Armor showed up to install them.Shortly after materials were delivered to our driveway, Victor and his crew arrived to begin work. They were here early each morning and worked hard until eveningtime to complete each phase of the project.County inspections, arranged by Armor Fence, were completed promptly at the end of each phase, with no issues.Clyde and Victor were always prompt in returning phone calls/text messages when we had questions.We have been enjoying our screened porch for almost 3 months now. It was so nice to sit on the porch on a summer evening with the windows open (and occasionally with the ceiling fan on) and not be bothered by mosquitoes! As summer’s heat subsided, it was even more comfortable on the porch. As I write this, it is a cool 56 degrees and breezy outside but with the radiant afternoon sun and the windows closed, the porch is 70 degrees - quite comfortable!I highly recommend Armor Fence to enhance your outdoor living space!

Nothing but 5-Stars from the initial quote process until the end of our install. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process and all questions were answered. Our install was very quick from accepting the bid and the install of over 200 feet of paddock style fencing and two gates only took 6 hours. The workers were super pleasant and worked efficiently to get the job done. Wynn, our sales guy, communicated with us the whole time, walking the property several times before install and day of to ensure the plan was exactly as we wanted. We even had a minor change the day of and they were excellent with working with us and figuring out the best outcome. We highly recommend Armor and will be back for any future needs.

Our neighbor’s fence caught fire recently and burned down part of our stockade fence. We could not remember who originally installed our fence so Armor Fence of Manassas was recommended to us. We feel fortunate that we followed the advice and used Armor for the cleanup and installation of new fence.Brian Griffith came out immediately after the incident and gave us a fair estimate that was accepted by our insurance company. He was fast and efficient at sending me the estimate in writing and quickly scheduling a team to come out and do the repairs, which turned out to be beautiful. We were so pleased, and are hiring Armor Fence to replace the rest of the fence around or yard.Kudos to Brian and Armor Fence.Armor Fence returned a month later completely replaced all the remaining fence. The 3 installers did a truly professionally job and we could not be happier. I would recommend Armor Fence to anyone who’s needs a new fence or a fence repaired.

I worked with Kris to get a quote after 2 other companies I tried ghosted me after providing quotes. Initially the call was just to set up a time for Kris to come out and do an estimate. Early the next morning I got an unexpected knock and it happened to be Kris who was in the area. I didnt mind as I wanted to get a fence installed so I walked him through the property so he could get measurements and show him the neighbors French Gothic style fence I wanted to match. The quote came back very quickly and while it wasnt the cheapest of the three quotes I got, Kris was the most responsive and showed gumption by showing up unannounced.The day of the install there was some miscommunication because a crew of 3 arrived but they came with the wrong components. The pickets were supposed to be French Gothic but instead they were flat and they wanted to do a dip style. Edmon called into the office and I spoke to Dean to explain the situation. He was able to coordinate another truck to bring the correct pickets.This did not slow down the crew. They were about to knock out the install in a few hours.I wish the crew had done the gate frame a little better. The wood they used had gouges in it. Its a focal point so I see them every time I open the gate. Otherwise the fence looks great. I do like how they used 6x6 posts for the gates though as theyre going to be much more sturdy compared to 4x4. Hopefully itll last for many years.

After obtaining quotes from four deck builders, I selected Armor! I was close to not selecting them; however after reading between the lines, Armor uses professional build techniques as standard! They use RotBlok and joint tape as standard versus other builders charging extra for them. Armor was much cheaper than the competition while maintaining build quality and using Trex products. They are certified Trex Pro which extends your Trex product warranty. Workers were there everyday until completion. Customer service is also top notch. I never had issues with communication or questions. Even the CEO of the company is involved in day to day communication and part of the customer service experience. Well Done Armor!

We bought a full yard privacy fence with paddock accents on the sides. Armour Fence has been excellent to deal with. Kevin even came back over a week later (after I had paid them) to straighten the logo that I thought looked a bit crooked. Quality product and outstanding customer service.

Gave them a call and they were happy to work with us to get the needed repairs, instead of trying to up-sell us on a new fence. Quick and professional response to request for estimate. Made useful suggestions and was decent price, about 15% lower than their biggest competitor. Job was done very quickly and looks great. Very happy with the sales man and the crew, as well as their office staff. Nice.The only reason I cant give 5 stars is that one of the fence posts wobbled for weeks because I suspect they skipped it when adding concrete. Also the fence corners on one side of the yard were out of square and one side of our pergola does not line up with the other side, so putting pavers under it will be tricky to avoid looking funny. Some heavy old posts were left behind shrubs after cleanup and had to be cut up for trash pick up.

Wonderful experience all the way around. Merv, our sales rep was extremely professional, considerate, punctual and cocerned with accuracy. He even came back to remeasure when I decided I wanted to add a gate. He answered all of my questions and had some of his own to ensure I was getting what I wanted. The men that did the install were professional, kept to themselves, stayed focused throughout the 2 day installation. Goff the GM was in contact frequently and answered all questions within an hour of emailing. He wanted to ensure we were satisfied with the install. Overall I was extremely impressed and if I have any other needs in the future I will be reaching out to this company. One of our members used Armor Fence so we asked them for an estimate for fencing the yard in back of our house. The estimate process was an education with Kevin coaching us to think about what our useable space was and to focus on that, which was a way of looking at our yard we hadnt thought of. We just had our old fence removed and a new privacy fence installed. David from Armor Fence was amazing throughout the whole process. He came out the day that we called for a quote and helped us find our property lines for hours that night! I got 3 quotes from different companies and Armor was the best price and value. After getting approval from our HOA, we scheduled the install. It took about 3 weeks for the install date. Right before the install, there was a lumber shortage, but the company already had a solution and offered us an upgrade to cedar!The crew was early on the day of install and they completed the entire job in just one day! Most of the fences in my community were installed by Armor and they looked great. I reached out to them and next day or so they sent out Clyde, he was great and provided a quote shortly after that. My next door neighbor decided to join in and get their fence at the same time, which was great because reduced the cost of my fence. They were very easy to work with and provide 2 separate quotes. During installation we had a small hiccup. We had added to our quote to lower an existing fence we already had but for some reason they didnt have that in their scope of work. I called Clyde and told him, and early next day we had a crew over to lower the fence. Their responsiveness and customer care really impressed me. My fence looks beautiful and now my dog and cat get to enjoy the backyard a lot :)

I literally have nothing bad to say about Armor Fence. They came out years ago to give us a quote during our new build, we ended up deciding to wait until some yardwork was done. Which ended up being 5 years ... but when I called back, it was just as easy. They came out, measured and helped me adjust the new plan, then they were here, got it done in a day and it looks amazing. We did the 5 board estate and then painted it black. We get so many compliments. I loved that they didnt try to push us, and listened when I explained what I wanted as for gates and where. Worked with Kevin, his team of fence installers, and Jaime who installed the custom gates at the end, they did a wonderful job installing an aluminum fence to enclose a small backyard. Their price quote was very fair and almost equal to another top rated local company, but Kevins professionalism, promptness and attention to detail definitely tipped the scales in favor of going with this company. They show up on time, they know what theyre doing, and the office is responsive to scheduling needs (I really wanted to be on-site and dont have a WFH job, and they worked with me to reschedule to an off day which I truly appreciate).The installers were fast and meticulous, I think they installed 110 linear feet of fence in 2.5 hours, but I had to wait on 2 custom gates due to a delay. A week later Jaime comes with the gates, but one of them doesnt line up with the already-installed gate post (heights were off by almost 3, looked really weird). Their approach to problem solving and working with the homeowner was impressive; he discussed different options with me and we agreed that the hardest fix would be the best fix, and he got approval from his boss to spend several hours fixing the situation by lifting up a 2 post section of fence by 2-3 inches and re-setting the footers. Jaimes worksmanship was top notch even though he was probably doing a 2 man job by himself, and in the end the gates and fence looked great.As a side note, 24 dig depth and dry packing the post holes seems the norm for this area, at least according to the quotes I received; after seeing them work, I can totally understand why they do a dry pack instead of wet pour (they can do final alignment adjustments after the post holes are filled back up because the concrete hasnt set yet, it was cool to see how they do it). If you want 30 dig depth to frost line, youll probably have to DIY it, but they probably did what would be a grueling 2 day job for me in 2.5 hours so its money well spent and I can live with the 24 depth. Good company, top quality people, very good experience, would recommend them to anyone (and already did to a coworker, they were impressed as well though they are working with another team from Armor).

I had 5 well rated companies give us bids. While other companies had prices that were similar, of the 5 companies, only Armor Fence even mentioned a 5 ft gate (everyone else suggest 3 or 4 ft gates). Kevin, our estimator pointed this out, because it is helpful if you ever get a lawn service and helps generally when you are moving materials in and out of the house. Kevin pointed out where trees and bushes needed trimming for the fence prior to installation. He supplied us with a BID and diagrams that were helpful in getting HOA approval for the fence. He came out the day of and showed the install crew his flags. They had Miss Utility come out in advance too. Their price was the best and they got us installed in 2 weeks. The install crew worked hard and got our fence done in a day. Kevin even followed up via email the next day and pointed out how to get warranty service from Armor fence if we had a problem. I was procrastinating about calling them back, but got an email from Armor Fence doing follow up to make sure I was happy with the gate and their service. I relayed the message about the sagging gate and the sales rep guy I was working with (Matt) was pushy with *me* about fixing it and making it right. I got a fence from Armor Fence Co this summer during the pandemic. We got an aluminum fence to fence in our dogs so they could enjoy running around but stay safe. The fence was installed quickly and I felt like the team was mindful about the pandemic and kept their distance. After it was installed, it looked great but there was an area that I was worried our dog would be able to pass through and get outside. I called the company to ask for help and Mike, the manager, took it upon himself to come look at the fence and come up with a solution to make sure our dogs stayed safe. He ordered the parts and installed them quickly and I couldn’t be happier, not only with the way the fence looks ,but also the customer service to ensure I was happy with their product. Everything was completed quickly and on time. The old fencing was removed and the area cleaned up afterward. This fence was for the back yard for my dogs. After a couple years with the fence, here are my complaints:1. the estimate was given with pine. I asked if oak would last longer/be stronger and I was told it would be the same. But after having it for 2 years I have noticed that that isnt quite the case. The pine is definitely weaker and warping in places, where the previous oak fence we had for 20 years did not.2. this is a 3-board fence with wire mesh to keep dogs in, replacing the previous fence, as stated. I said that I wanted the same as previously in regard to the wire mesh (the fence was still up when the person came for estimate). The estimate had the gauge of the mesh on it, but not really knowing the gauge sizes I just assumed it was the same mesh as the old fence. Well, I was completely wrong. The mesh used for this fence is much thinner, I can easily bend it with my hands. My 8 lb chihuahua has already chewed through an area and escaped to chase the deer. So now I have a new(er) fence with the same ugly patched areas as I did with the old fence. So that is super frustrating.3. The large tractor gate latch is on the inside of the fence. You cant reach it from the outside, so its a real pain in the rear. It also doesnt latch well and I have to keep a bungee cord around it to be sure it stays latched so the dogs dont escape. They came out and adjusted it once and it helped for a little bit, but now we are back to the bungee. I think this is due to the pine wood bending and not being as strong. We asked for a better solution for the latch so it can be opened from the outside- like moving it, etc and were told that there isnt a better solution.So in conclusion, I would definitely use their service again, but I would be very specific, get fully educated on wire gauges and wood types used for fences and would not rely on them to copy a fence that was being replaced.

I cannot believe that we had gotten previous quotes for 30k, and 18k. We were just going to ride out the old wood deck as long as possible — then we called Armor Fence. Fence looks great and is very solid.However I had a few issues a couple of months after the build and even though I got a response fairly quickly, the crew never came back out to fix the issues as discussed. Several of the boards warped pretty quickly and will need replacing.Also our gate was poorly built with non pressure treated wood (to save weight I presume). It is still too heavy for the hardware that was used and started to sag immediately and isnt level and rubs against the fence making the opening and closing of the gate an issue.Overall they were easy to deal with during the assessment and build process, I just wish there was more follow up and better service after the build. My project was built in early Spring 19.

Matt and his team put in our 350 fence at our new house on time, with craftsmanship and no leftover mess. What a joy it was to see our beautiful fenced in back yard for the first time.
