He did a great job securing the area to ensure there was no water damage and cleaned up after the work. He then took the time to test by running the water over an extended time to ensure the blockage was clear and there were no leaks. Although I complained about the high cost of the job, his professionalism and care made it a positive experience.

    I appreciate Corys professional mannerisms and his availability for my clogged situation. Corys diagnostic skills were excellent and ability to educate me was very informative as a new home owner. Even on a late evening plus a holiday, Roto Rooter was able to provide fast and great customer service.I will say that many reviews speak about the high price but good diagnostic skills and availbility is worth paying for. Just providing a snake service to unclog in the right area instead of charging extra for unnecessary services was appreciated (like using a camera). Plus a 30 day guarantee! Thank you again!

Leon and his partner were very professional and cleaned up the mess perfectly. It was a long evening but they made sure everything was done properly and were very courteous.     Joseph,Joseph, Joseph, what can I say. We have had a persistent problem with a backed up tub.i have had countless professionals come to assess, repair and overcharge . However Joseph is professional and knowledgeable. He assured us that the problem would be resolved after galvanized pipe replacements. It has been a day and a half - so far so good. When others came the tub backed up within 2 hours to a day after they were gone along with my money.Joseph was patient , took his time not to make extra mess and let us know along the way what he was doing and why.I wish I could give Joseph 4 stars. My only issue is that I should be refunded my money for ALL of the other professionals that came, charged me and did not resolve the ONLY and INITIAL complaint ā€œBACKED UP TUB!!ā€

    Ernesto came to check in on our first floor plumbing drainage issues. He helped us go through all of the troubleshooting, and we were able to figure out that our problem was not in our plumbing but with our grinder pump leading to the city sewage. So it was great to have him walk through all of the other problems and rule them out for us, so we could address the real problem as soon as possible. His expertise and compassion (for coming back a second time just to ease our kinds) were amazing as he went above and beyond to help us find solutions.

    I had my main sewer line relined and from start to finish the team was fantastic. They explained exactly what was going to take place and when the team came they were great.     I donā€™t often leave reviews but I had such a positive experience with Oswaldo, Joe and their team from RotoRooter at the end of 2023 that I felt it was deserving.We moved into our home in Rye three years ago and have had some flooding issues with our driveway storm drain. Our driveway slopes down toward the house and during extremely heavy rain its been unable to handle the water coming down from the street. During Hurricane Ida the drain backed up, water came into the garage and flooded our entire lower level and basement, ruining carpets and destroying a lot of beloved toys in the playroom. After the recent heavy rains and another close call, we called RotoRooter to see if jetting the pipe would help.Using a scope camera on the end of a cable Oswaldo, Joe and their crew identified the issue and showed us what was wrong on the computer monitor - the drain pipe that ran from the driveway beneathĀ our backyard was a flimsy corrugated plastic material and the connection for the gutter downspouts was installed improperly. The drainpipe was bent, punctured and flattened in places by tree roots that had grown over time. It was getting clogged up with leaves and debris. Our homeā€™s original drainage installation was so poorly done and fully unable to handle the amount of water needed to move heavy rains from our driveway and keep our home from flooding.Weā€™d had a previous bad experience with a competing company (Aqueduct Services) that installed our sump pump. Their crew was clearly inexperienced and did such shoddy work that it needed to be undone and redone multiple times, and took days longer than estimated, so we were anxious about taking on anotherĀ major and disruptiveĀ plumbing project.Thankfully our experience with the guys from RotoRooter couldnā€™t have been more different. It was night and day.The knowledge, skill and integrity of Oswaldo, Joe and their crew to identify the issues, clearly explain (and show them to us) in a way that made it easy to understand was so reassuring and refreshing after our previous experience.Having to excavate our whole backyard to solve our flooding issues was an expensive and surprisingly invasive-feeling procedure. Oswaldo and his team had a great bedside manner - they showed empathy for the large investment and major surgery that needed to be done - especially right before the holidays. They were patient in explaining the problems, walking us through our options and helping us understand what we needed to do to fix our issue and get the job done right.I know nothing about plumbing, but seeing the crew replace the old cheap pipes and catch basin with the new ones, the difference in workmanship and material quality was obvious.The work took two days and the crew stayed late to clean up and make sure everything was covered and secure and roped off with tape so it was safe for my kids to go in the backyard.This was not AT ALL a cheap or expected home improvement project and, being entirely buried underground, not the most rewarding use of our savings like the backyard landscaping upgrades that weā€™ve had on our wish list.But I have to say that the confidence that our home will now be able to handle heavy rains and the peace of mind that that we donā€™t have to worry about our playroom flooding again every time thereā€™s a local flooding advisory were 100% worth it.

Recognized, explained, and addressed two problems that made the clogged drain more problematic (both of which I suspected: old pipes and improperly installed trap by previous owner or plumber).     We have used roto rooter for the same problem at least twice in the last six years. Each time the drain cleaning service was $500 and drain was opened within 20/30 minutes. Ernesto was here for over 2 hours snaking this fifty foot long kitchen drain until he was satisfied that all the grease buildup was removed and pointed out to me problems that needed further attention. I can honestly say it was the 1st time I felt I had received not only a kitchen drain that flowed but had the knowledge of how to prevent this from continuing to be a problem. He impresses me as a man who takes his job seriously. I felt I got my monies worth this time

    Miguel was extremely knowledgeable and capable. He quickly diagnosed the problem in terms of blockage in the kitchen sink line and set to work immediately. He gave reassurance that the problem would be fixed and service would be warrantied for six months following. He was so helpful in explaining the steps he was doing to make sure the block was cleared and that there were no leaks.He went above and beyond to point out corroding and broken parts that he simply helped replaced while reassembling the drain pipes. And he generously helped grease our faucet fixture, allowing it to swing from left to right, which had been stuck for some time.All in all, we are very pleased.     I had a great experience from beginning to end. I scheduled my appointment for 8a-12p, online the day before. The office called promptly at 730a to let me know the technician was in his way.     When in need roto-rooter is there.I called for them around 1pm for a clocked sewage line. Was promised a technician would be there between 3pm and 7pm. The tech arrives around 4.30 and quickly diagnosed the issue. He gave me a quote and once I accepted he quickly went to work. Took him about 45 min to clear the main sewage line. After seeing the hard work everyone put into the job I did not mind that they came after the estimated time provided. Tony (#2430) in the Jetting truck brought it home by clearing the tree roots the snake could not get to. Russ (#693) did an admirable job attempting to snake out the drain with Rory. Another nice point was the water hook-up...it was late and Tony had to be in early the next day. He hooked into my tap outside to make sure he had enough water. When the job was done and I got a head start on cleaning the basement floor, Tony disconnected his hose and RECONNECTED mine! It sounds like a small point (and it is) but that shows awareness and dedication. I was very impressed. I used RR for the first time when my regular guy was not available.     We are very happy with the service provided by Roto Rooter (Mamaroneck) from dispatch (Patty), to the service technicians (Hector and Alex), and excavation team (led by Ernesto).We initially had our main line hydro jetted and inspected with a camera. From the camera we could see the main line in our basement was very old and showing signs of corrosion and the portion going from the house to the common line had shifted in several places (limiting flow in these areas) and had been penetrated by roots in a couple of places.After 4 days the line backed up again and although they came back again and cleaned out the trap which seemed to solve the problem, we were convinced to replace the main line in our basement and insert a sleeve from the house to the common line (hoping it is more cost effective than having to do an excavation of our front yard in the future).After assessment, the excavation team came the next day and completed the job in 1.5 days. Everyone was very professional and took the time to explain the issue and what they were doing.

    Late on a Sunday evening, I had a leak coming from the water main coming in to my house and the old shut off valve had failed. With the leak getting progressively worse (old pipes), I called every plumber I could find on Google. Tafari from Roto Rooter was the only one willing to take the job at that time.     I was more than pleased, I was totally surprised. I was used to thinking of Roto-Rooter as a drain and plumbing resolution company. It wasnt until I saw a commercial about your Hot Water Heater services that I knew this was in your tool box. I was having issues with my current heater and the original company I purchased it from, and had it serviced by, would just not answer the phone. I tried for three hours to get someone, but it would always go to busy after hitting several prompts on their voice portal. I remembered the commercial I saw about Roto-Rooter and figured I would give them a shot. They picked up on the first ring, promised me someone would call me within 2 hours, someone did call me within 2 hours and arrived at my location, saw my concern, explained all of my options as well as the pros and cons of each, and remediated my issue. Tech #75 Rabadi, was exceptional and professional at all times. He never pressured me to go one way or the other, but spoke to me in laymans terms and put me at ease. Long story short, I have a new Hot Water Heater, with an exceptional warranty, a better model, and I paid much less for my total costs in comparison to the one I purchased 8 years ago from a National Retailer with a very good name.I wish I knew about Rotoscoped-Rooters extra capabilities previously as I would have called them sooner.     I called and two hours later a service tech showed up, I got 3 phone calls letting me know of the status of my tech. He idntified issue and solve problem in less than an hour. The tech was polite, curtious and professional.

    The benefit of Roto Rooter is that they have dependable, reachable and responsive customer service for plumbing problems which when they are immediate and important is almost impossible to find elsewhere. They also come almost immediately. I spent all day trying to find a handyman to fix what might be considered a minor plumbing problem but even minor plumbing problems, like replacing plastic plumbing under a sink or clearing a drain, are major if for instance you are a landlord and the problem is in the only bathroom in an apartment of a tenant....and the thing about plumbing is that even for handy friends resolving minor issues isnt necessarily intuitive...so you really need a plumber. I failed in my day long search for help and finally stumbled on Roto-Rooter although Ive known the Roto-Rooter song my whole life! I had someone there (Moises 1062) within an hour and although it is pricey he worked with me and being able to get a quick complete resolution was worth everything. Moises, I really appreciate your help - I really dont know what I would have done without you!

    Had a clog late at night with a full house for Xmas. ROTOROOTER responded within the hour, had to bring a jetter because of the longer distance to the obstruction. All done perfectly. Technician, Tony Casella did a great job. He was dynamic, responsive and diligent. Excellent company!
