We were so lucky to work with Boston hardwood decks. Joshua and Cody are fantastic people! They share their plan with pictures and well-detailed quotes and you know exactly where your money is going. They were also so professional and answered all the questions we had. From the start of the construction until the end, we were so impressed how laser-focused they were throughout a week and finished it so fast with high accuracy. The finishing of the deck is so stunning and we absolutely love it! Cant wait for years to come enjoying this beautiful deck.

Great experience! Joshua was incredibly responsive from start to finish. Needed to replace a bunch of rotting boards and was able to quickly arrange a time for an estimate; the quote was very reasonable; and, was able to schedule the deck repair in a week. Joshua and his helper did a meticulous job and my deck is like new again and just waiting for stain to be applied. Couldn’t be more pleased with this contractor.

Josh and team did a wonderful job rebuilding our front yard. They built a new railing, redid the trellis underneath our deck, reinforced the deck structure, and helped to cleanup the yard with some rock work. Their team was professional, on time, under budget, and a real pleasure to work with. I was able to get a quote within a day and had the work done faster than any other quote I received. Highly recommend Josh and the team at Boston Hardwood Decks! We will be using them again.

Josh Hofer totally replaced our elegant 4-level wooden staircase railings reaching from our front portico to the street. He was excellent to work with as he presented various options and worked closely with us to exactly duplicate the original railings. The end result, after a very detailed job on Joshs part, is even more beautiful than the railings he replaced. He did a detailed, complicated job beautifully, including finishing the job by painting the railings, the front door and the lattice, as well as installing new door hardware.We very, very highly recommend Josh Hofer and his work.Tamara Chenoweth-Jones

Josh is extremely capable. I hired him to take care of some maintenance on my rental property and, even though it had nothing to do with decks, he did a great job. He came through in a pinch to troubleshoot a dishwasher gone awry and kept my tenants happy and my appliance in good working order. I have not hired Josh for any deck work but can say his work is high quality. He is responsive and an able problem solver. Highly recommend.

Joshua did a terrific job from start to finish. He got the deck cleaned and oiled as soon as the weather permitted and before the annual May pollin storm hits it - very important to me. It looks terrific. He works carefully and neatly, is friendly and likeable. I will definitely hire him again.

Josh and his team did a stellar job repairing a second-floor deck that had water damage. The deck looks properly finished with attention to detail. Additionally, they repaired a hanging gutter that perhaps was causing the water damage. Very reliable and prompt service. I have had Josh do other jobs in my home and his work is consistently good and he and his team are reliable.
