    Alves Fuels has been fantastic to work with - I bought a new home about a year ago and had never owned a place with oil based heat previously. Alves made it so easy to set up automatic delivery and get the system serviced. Everyone I have met or worked with at Alves has been personable, professional, and knowledgeable. I cant recommend them enough!

    I have been a customer of Alves Fuels for years. Their customer service is the best. If youre having any issues with your heating or AC, they respond immediately and their technicians are excellent. My most recent experience with Alves Fuels was this past summer when our air conditioning unit failed. The owner of the company came over himself and determined that the unit needed to be replaced and had a new system up and running in very short time during a heat wave. Thank you!

    Wonderful company. I became a customer years ago when my central air died during a heat wave. The company I had a service contract with wouldnt even come to look at it for 2 weeks. Alves came that day and Id never done business with them before. I had to switch to a company with customer service like that. And, theyve continued to impress me with that same service ever since. Highly recommend.

    Always a pleasure to work with. Needed service, both my wife and I had called independently and both felt the customer service was outstanding. We were not able to be home, service tech let themselves in and even put the dog away when they were done.

    We used Alves Fuels for a large home renovation including removing and rerouting all ductwork leading to the second floor, all new plumbing throughout the kitchen and bathrooms, and a new hot water tank with back up reserve. Their service and communication has been excellent throughout this entire process! I highly recommend!

    Yesterday afternoon, my girlfriend noticed that her central air conditioning unit was not kicking on. Needless to say, the temperature on the second floor of her home, was hovering around 90 degrees in the late afternoon. It was almost 5:00 PM when she placed the call to Alves Fuels, hoping to find out if she could get a technician to stop by within the next day or two, to see why it wasn’t working. Although hopeful that she could get someone to stop by this week, she wasn’t expecting it, because it was extremely hot the past few days, and she figured it was a long shot at best. To her surprise, and in what seemed like merely minutes, she saw that the technician (Chad) had pulled up to her driveway, and was soon knocking at the door. He basically stated that he understood that her air conditioning wasn’t working, and that he was committed to getting it working for her right away, so that “she could sleep comfortably tonight”. He identified a couple issues, changed her filter, and indicated that she could still possibly have a problem with the thermostat, but that for now he got it working, which was awesome! Unfortunately, not long after he left, the unit kicked off again, and luckily, he left her with his contact info, so she could let him know that it stopped working. AGAIN, Chad showed up, right away, to change out the thermostat! She honestly figured that after the second call, he would just come back in the morning, because by that time, it was getting late, and she figured it was after hours at that point. He again came in, swapped out the thermostat, and got it going very quickly. There really is only one word to describe the level of customer service Chad and the team at Alves Fuels have consistently delivered over the past year at this address, and that word is EXCEPTIONAL!!! My girlfriend got out of work yesterday, dreading the fact that the AC may not work over night, and because of Chad’s knowledge, skill, and outstanding customer service abilities, she managed to get a good night’s sleep. Mind you, my girlfriend doesn’t normally even like the cold, however it gets very hot in there in this weather, so I know if she is finding it hot, it really must be like an oven! This meant a great deal to her, and she and I will definitely continue to recommend Alves Fuels to as many people as we can. This level of customer service is very refreshing these days, and it is very much appreciated!

    Called in the morning for a plumbing issue. The receptionist was very nice but didnt seem to understand the issues we were having. She transferred us to a manager and he was able to get an appointment setup for the following day. If this was a crisis we wouldve been in trouble but we were able to get by for the additional day. The plumber showed up during the time window estimated and got the job done. Rates are about average. Would recommend.

    I signed up for service in about 4mins after my call was connected after a short 2 min wait, kim was more then helpful she took down all my information and they had my appointment scheduled for the next day mason and Dylan came out as technicians and got the the gas oven and dish washer installed in no time at all they even took the time to change out the old hose on the refrigerator and it wasn’t part of the service that day thanks for coming out and giving us the excellent service the first time out thank you happy holidays

    Luis Vitorino seamlessly advised and guided me through the replacement of our oil burner. He directed me to the various benefts available toMassachusetts homeowners. He obtained the necessary permits and supervised all project and work. I appreciate his commitment to cutomer satisfaction.The installers were very neat and efficient. They answered any questions I had about operation and maintenance without being condescending.I will certainly turn to Alves Fuels when it is time to install an all-house cooling system.

    I bought my house using a construction loan in January. What would have lasted someone else 1.5 months of oil lasted us 5 days. Woke up on a Saturday morning freezing only to find out our little space heater had broken during the move. First we called Alpha Oil, documents show servicing this house back 30 years. They said there was nothing they could do. Need to have a service rep come out on Monday for fees then proceed. I was shocked. Next call was to Ludlow Heating and Oil. Got the same result from the owner even after explaining how I had a 2 mo old baby and a 6 yr old little girl on a freezing morning in January. I called back and got the secretary this time. I wanted to try to sway his opinion because I was desprate. She said he had left the office since I got off the phone.. a whole 20 secs. Finally, I called Alves Fuels. Again, pleading I had a newborn baby and it was so cold in the house. He said just like anyone else he only had trucks out there for the auto shipments but asked if we had a contract with anyone else servicing us? Asked if wed stay customers and was here in less than 15 mins and filled our tank.I just knew this story needed to be told - of what truly wonderful people own this business and how much me and my family appreciated what he did for us. Thank you.

    When my girlfriend mentioned that she needed to have her home air conditioning unit serviced, I advised her to call Alves Fuels. It turned out, that she needed to get a boost of freon for her system. They sent out a very competent, knowledgeable technician, who was able to charge the system quickly, and get it running like new! My girlfriend had called many places prior to my suggesting Alves, only to not get callbacks, or be told that they could not fit her into their schedule for weeks. Alves stepped up, got her appointment set up, almost immediately, and was thoroughly professional from the first interaction on the phone, until the technician pulled out of the driveway! I highly recommend!

    I have been a customer for over 9 years. I have used Alves Energy for all my heating, cooling, plumbing repairs and fuel needs. Their service is always prompt and fairly priced. There is always someone available to take your call, and in serious situations a technician communicates with you with-in a reasonable time. Being an owner of several properties its very important to have good reliable, knowledgeable people who you can trust to assist you with your problems. I have especially appreciated them in several emergency situations that required an immediate response. I have had hot water tanks installed, boilers replaced, boilers repaired, AC units repaired, sewer lines repaired, toilets repaired, faucets replaced, and other general plumbing needs, etc...All their service personnel including the owner are hands on and very knowledgeable, friendly and fair. I sincerely appreciate all they have done for me over the last 9 years and look forward to them being my service provider for years to come. I highly recommend this company to anyone!
