We hired Homestead to convert our one-car garage into a studio apartment. They were fun to work with and did a beautiful job on the design, transforming a small awkward space into a fully functional 1-person tiny home. The ADU turned out gorgeous because of their architectural skills, creativity, passion, and great taste.Construction happened during the early pandemic which threw unanticipated curveballs and the job presented expensive surprises that were impossible to foresee in the beginning. But they saw it through to the end with the same guaranteed price that was in our original contract. They never cut corners or tried to cheapen the result. It is rare to find a company with the integrity to honor their agreement like Homestead did!We now have a new friend renting out the ADU and it is making a big difference financially during this economic recession.We are very satisfied and highly recommend them.

Wow did these guys make it easy. True 5 star experience from start to finish. Professional management of the project, very responsive, and such an eye for design. Worth every penny. We had such a great experience we want to work with them again! SB 9 presents some really exciting additional possibilities.

We have a friend who recommended Homestead to us and we couldn’t be happier. We called and immediately felt comfortable and valued. Ange was instrumental in guiding us through the process. Ames came to our home and evaluated our property with care and finesse. He was amazing, warm and kind. Ange followed up after the inspection with additional information, pricing and details. My husband and I felt heard and appreciated. Our circumstances did not allow us to follow up at this time with the project. Working with the team at Homestead to convert my garage into an ADU was an amazing experience and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a design minded upgrade to their property.

We are very happy with our experience with Homestead converting our 400 sq ft garage into a beautiful ADU for our 97 year old grandmother so that she can live closer to us. They created a beautiful design that fit exactly what we wanted and came up with many specific details for aging in place that we did not think of ourselves, including increased lighting and roll in shower with accessible handrails and elevated toilet. We were impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail and responsiveness and did not feel like they were trying to cut corners and were very upfront and open and personal with us. With the initial set pricing including all design and permits and construction and appliances we feel like we got a great deal. All of our friends are impressed with the construction quality and finished product and we have referred several friends that are interested in creating their own ADU with Homestead.
