I had a great experience with MWP especially with Elias and Felix. It started with a blocked toilet, but they discovered our main problem which was an offset drain pipe. We have an older house and the drain pipe to the sewer is a combo of PVC, cast iron, galvanized and even clay. They were able to replace all of the non-plastic which was a really tough job under our house (on rafters) and in the backyard without having to dig up the backyard. They were friendly, on-time and worked really hard. They were very professional, would show us video of the issues so we had proof of what was happening and gave us solid solutions for a fair price. Ill definitely use them as my go-to plumbers in the future.

Andres arrived on time and was very professional and personable. He inspected my clogged kitchen drain and inspected it. He gave me what he had found out and a few different options. Once I selected the option, Andres went straight to work. He was thorough and he let me know what he was going to be doing. He unclogged the sink and showed me the before/ during pics of the work. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Monkey Wrench Plumbing!

Incredible experience all around and Rick was the best! We smelled gas and the gas company said it was the water heater. Rick came out the same day, diagnosed the problem and got us our hot water back pretty much immediately. He then came back the next day for a full clean as well as added an additional component to help with maintenance. Rick was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to go above and beyond by teaching me about the water heater and helping me understand how we can help ensure it will last past the warranty. I really can’t say enough about how much I appreciate Rick and how professional and helpful he was. I’ll definitely be reaching out to him should anything arise in the future.

Rick was at my place less than two hours after I called Monkey Wrench. Before he arrived I received an email introducing him. I had mentioned the possible smell of gas in the tankless water heater exhaust. That is probably not a common problem but Rick eliminated it. Along the way it became clear that Rick knew tankless water heaters very well. For example, he was very familiar with proper matching of heater size to house size. In spite of the fact that tankless water heaters are very complicated Rick clearly knew his way around inside the machine, too, as he performed maintenance omitted during a recent visit by a different company. I could see that Rick really cares about helping customers and being very honest with them and that the quality of everything he did was going to be maximum. So, I am very pleased that I got in touch with Monkey Wrench and with Rick.

Rick came right on time and was extremely knowledgable and diagnosed the issues with a Noritz tankless water heater quickly. The problem: hot water was very intermittent to the shower. He explained all the pros and cons of my older system, even though the diagnostics were still actually good. Turned out that the calcium buildup in the shower head was reducing the water flow and as a result the tankless heater frequently turned off the flame, especially when the thermostat was set to warm. So, we will try to clean out the calcium deposits with vinegar or, worst case, replace the shower head. I really appreciated Ricks assessment, honesty and professionalism. Would use him again in a New York minute. Actually, when you call Monkey Wrench Plumbing, you can as for Rick by name. I highly recommend you do.

Technicians were on time and very knowledgeable and professional. Installation was excellent and completed the work in a timely manner. My only concern is they seem to be priced fairly high. I went with them because I trusted the techs but normally I would have got a second bid as the price really shocked me. I already had a tankless water heater of the same brand and I know what I paid for that installation in 2009. Seemed high by between $2500-$3000.
