Our team at The Villas at Happy Valley used Barclay Contracting for help during the turnover season this year. We manage a large mostly student community in State College. The team did such a fantastic job!! They picked up on our needs right away, they completed the tasks efficiently, and they made all of our resident guests feel safe and comfortable while they were working in their homes. I cannot recommend the team at Barclay enough for all of your construction and handyman needs! They are truly the best contractors I have had the pleasure to work with!!

Jake has done two small projects in our home to date. I appreciate that he always responds quickly to my inquiries and comes within days to give an estimate. He listens to your desires and wants before doing the work. Jake & his crew have always cleaned the project site well after they were done. I highly recommend Barclays!

Jake started out by installing a new screen door to the front of our house over a year ago so when we needed a new walk in bathtub/surround/shower/window installed in our bathroom I knew I could trust him We own an older home so it was inevitable that things would come up but Jake always knew the best way to make things work to get the result we wanted.jakes very knowledgeable about his craft and I can’t say enough about how pleased we are with how everything looks. Jake and his crew were as clean and respectful with our home as possible during any renovation which meant a lot. Jake helped us and kept us informed every step of the way from picking out the tub and tub surround to installing the window he answered every message and question from me quickly ..the window that was replaced was an old metal window built into our home jake had to cut the window out of the house when we saw it we honestly weren’t sure how he would ever make it look like the rest but he did it and the window looks great..Jake knew that we had a budget and he did his very best to keep us within that budget I would highly recommend Jake to anyone needing contacting work done

Really enjoyed my experience working with Jake and his workers. They did an amazing job on putting my kitchen back together after I got into it over my head. Jake replaced my kitchen countertop and backsplash, plus a couple other small jobs. He is easy to work with and offered advice when needed, dependable, and does a good job at a reasonable rate. Absolutely no complaints and I would call him again for future needs.
