    I will never call another plumber! Dhamer Plumbing was amazing. They were able to schedule an appointment the day after I called. The plumbers called when they were ten minutes away to let me know they were coming which gave me time to secure my dogs. They were polite and professional and resolved my issue quickly and didnt make a mess! Their pricing was much more reasonable than other quotes I received for the same service. This will always be my first call and recommendation to others!

    Dhamers skills and customer focus are amazing! A simple rodding out of our plugged 2nd floor bathtub drain by one of their plumbers unfortunately resulted in a small leak in a corroded pipe fitting beneath the tub. The leak was onto our 1st floor dining room ceiling. This shut down one of only two showers in our house—and with relatives coming to visit us for the holidays in only a two days(!) But despite being tied up that day with other jobs, Dhamer immediately freed up a couple other plumbers to make things right for us. Tom and TT first told us the critical fitting required a special on-line order (the part was not readily available).The next day, after expediting delivery, they returned with the fitting and incorporated it into an improved, customized drainage solution for our tub. Also—and even more impressive—is the fact that this repair was performed while working within the very limited confines behind the rear access panel to our tub drain, without the need to cut into our dining room ceiling from below! Thank you to Tom, TT and Dhamer Plumbing for saving our planned holiday get-together with our family!!

    I needed to replace my 8 yr old Insinkerator garbage disposal, as the motor seized up. Called Dhamer as they had previously helped me with a basement drain issue. Fortunately, they had a truck working in my area that day and were able to squeeze me in for an appointment that same afternoon. Wayne was very efficient in replacing the broken disposal. Dahmer is an authorized Insinkerator service agent that the manufacturer turns to for warranty repairs/replacement. Good to know that the warranty is backed by a reliable local business.

    I contacted Dhamer plumbing for a leaky toilet, I called early morning and they arrived promptly. Bob did an excellent job and could tell there was an issue with the toilet immediately, it was clear he had a ton of experience and was very knowledgeable. The work was done quickly and the price was very fair.The same toilet started to run periodically, they came back out and replaced the new flapper that ended up having a factory defect.I highly recommend Dhamer plumbing for all your plumbing needs, I’m happy I found a reliable plumber and will definitely be using them in the future.

    We called at 7:50am and they were at the house within 30 min (we do live < 1mile away). Phone and onsite plumber were very professional, courteous, and explained everything to us. We were lucky it was a minor/easy issue (Expansion tank over our water heater sprung a leak.), but they did not try to sell us into unnecessary repairs or equipment (our home and water heater is 9 years old and admittedly i have not been draining it annually as I should be). Pricing was reasonable and fair especially given the PROMPT service. He also made some good recommendations for future issue prevention. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND GLAD I CALLED!

    I contacted Jim Dhamer Plumbing to replace my 20 years old Bradford White water heater that was leaking. They were very helpful over the phone and provided a quote over the phone. The quote was reasonable and was the best amongst all the other ones I got. They scheduled next day appointment.     I called to have a new toilet bowl installed. They said they were very busy but if a crew becomes available, they would call me. A few hours later, I got a call that a crew finished their job early. Within minutes, Anthony and Dylan showed up. They were very professional and finished the job efficiently.     I had a toilet that was leaking on the outside and a sink that was barely draining. Dhamer Plumbing came out. They routed the sink and replaced the interior of the toilet. Everything is working perfectly now. The work was done in an hour or less, my bathroom was left neat and clean.

    Called Jim Dhamer Plumbing for a suspected toilet leak. I was initially told there was no available slot. However, the repairman gave me a call when he unexpectedly finished one of his jobs early not too far from my place. They were very courteous to start with.     I used Jim Dahmer plumbing twice recently for two separate drain issues based off of proximity and seeing their vans on the road. Each time the issues were resolved in a professional, efficient, and honest manner (extremely honest pricing!). I was told up front the cost both times and the second separate issue it was even less than what I was originally told because he didnt need to rod the drain and I was a returning customer which turned out earned a small discount. Again--very honest!! I dont foresee any further issues with either drain but they also offer a 30 day guarantee of their work which is added peace of mind. The first time I used Jim Dahmer Plumbing my service mans name was Bob. The second time the service mens names were Tom and Nate. They all give tradesmen a good name! Thank you Jim Dahmer Plumbing!     I had a rotten egg smell from my water heater. Tom from Jim Dhamer installed a Corro-Protec anode rod and the smell cleared up in 1-2 days. They squeezed me in their schedule and were very professional, courteous and friendly. The workmanship was superb and the price was very reasonable.     Ive used Jim Dhamer on 3 different occasion. Twice to have my main line unclogged. Both times they were able to come to my home ahead of the proposed time. My third experience, they installed a new whole house shut off valve, repaired my tub overflow pipe and a sink shut off valve. The tub and sink was work done by a previous contractor that did a horrible job. Jim Dhamers team made it all right. Very professional and courteous group of people. I would recommend them to anyone needing small to big jobs completed.

    I had 2 small repairs that most plumbers could have fixed, but Im giving them 5 stars because of their professionalism. John and Payton were friendly, polite, and after explaining their first hour flat fee and finishing my repairs in under 30 minutes, they asked what else needed fixing. They also continued asking me the questions and giving me the updates even after my boyfriend appeared. Seems like a small thing until youve had the opposite happen.     I called Dhamer Plumbing because of a somewhat urgent problem with drainage from a bathroom sink.     The two gentlemen that came out to my house were wonderful. I called and they were out the very next morning. They did the work I asked for, cleaned up after themselves and most importantly did not push me to purchase anything else. They gave me some advice on how to keep the same problem from reoccurring which is something none of the plumbers in the past have ever done for me. they gave me an estimate over the phone and how much the work would cost and they stuck to that dollar amount. I would recommend them to anybody who needs a reliable and professional plumber.

It turned out they were right and were able to solve the backup issue in a little over an hour. They were the picture of professionalism and, in addition to solving the backup problem, they also answered some other plumbing-related questions we had for them.     Had them replace my ejector pump in basement they were $200 cheaper than PG plumbing which advertises on WGN which is very good they did good work it works fine and it only took about an hour and a half The price is right compared to the other guy this is the second time Ive used them I will use them again and recommend them they also upgraded the foot valve at no extra charge

    Wow! We have 2 issues in our house. They were able to identify both. Fix 1 of them right away. They were very clear about the 2nd issue and the need for a septic company to clear out a catch basin for our 1922 home to resolve the issue or to set them up to come back to fix..     I had a floor drain in my basement back up over the weekend, and I called a 24/7 plumbing place. They charged me a lot of money for rodding, that didnt fix the problem. They wanted to take more extreme measures and start charging thousands, when I finally got in touch with my insurance agent who recommended Jim Dhamer Plumbing. These guys came in and fixed the problem right away, were very professional, and charged a reasonable price. The lesson I learned is, if you have something happen over the weekend and can wait until Monday, wait for a real company to be open. This company is my new go to for any plumbing needs.

    Have used Jim Dhamer plumbing on few occasions. One was for leaking water underneath our claw foot bathtub. Bob came and diagnosed the problem quickly that it was a faulty gasket near the drain. A quick (an inexpensive!) fix. Another time they came because we noticed a leaking coming down from ceiling in our unfinished basement. They searched around and found that the builder hadnt sealed two pipes together properly. Another quick diagnosis and successful fix to our problem!     I have had this company out on five occasions in past 3 years for varying reasons; new kitchen install (sink and dw pipes rerouted and installed), laundry sink removed, new shutoffs, and pipes capped, split (froze) garden faucet pipe and lastly a sewer pipe leak by slab where I was dreading the news, thinking it might involve concrete work and cabinets removed. They have come out within the hour twice during urgent situations and one of those times was Christmas Eve! (Wayne) Every time they were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable, clearly explaining the issue and what they planned to do. The pricing is reasonable (i think it was a flat $125 1st hr plus part costs, but they break it down to half or quarter out after that). Work was done quickly and efficiently. Tom has been here twice and packs a heck of a lot of work into that time. I highly recommend the company and these gentlemen in particular. Thank you!

    This is a real true plumbing outift. Lots of places just say sewer because the workers ARE NOT legit plumbers. Not many people know that. These guys are licensed. Big difference. They do cost a little more per house, but you get what you pay for. And, they dont add hours. They are straight forward with their billing and they bill per 15 minutes after the first hour. Honestly, thats fair. Im good with that.

    My kitchen sink was backing up and needed rodding out. I called at 8am and I was given a 4 hour window for their technician to arrive. Bob arrived at 11:30a and took a look at my plumbing in the basement. Before he began his work of clearing out the entire run of pipe with their rodding machine, Bob laid down a new tarp to protect my floors. After it was done he verified that everything worked perfectly. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Thanks Bob!

    So, initially i was reluctant to call them reading the few negative reviews. My water heater was not working and i already had 2 different companies come in and look at it. To my frustration both of them gave me different Defect reasons and both told me to replace my entire water heater (6 years old). The logic was, repair would cost you almost to new heater. So i called Jim Dhamer, the lady who answered was very friendly and gave me an instant quote for a 50 gal water heater (quote cheaper by a few hundred bucks and good brand of water heater). Also scheduled the team for following morning. The team shows up first thing in the morning and troubleshoots my water heater, instead of just disconnecting my old and replacing it. Finally figured the root cause and fixed it. Total Cost $289 some re-plumbing and installing pressure relief tank. My point is they could have kept quiet and replaced my water heater with a new one, charging me few grand... but they did the right thing. Both the men were completely professional, appropriate wear, show covers, masks etc. I would gladly recommend this team.
