    Shout out to Brian for solving a problem at the Dewey Beach house. We had a sink drain that kept backing up and needed to be cleared a few times each season. Brian came out one time and pinpointed exactly what was causing it then made the necessary repairs to solve the problem for the long term. He kept us informed, arrived on schedule and did what was necessary to make things right. We really appreciate his expertise and quality of work. Also want to recognize Joe for working with us along the way. Definitely recommend these guys

    Very pleased with my experience. We were able to be serviced the same day that I called. The technicians were knowledgeable, thoughtful, and friendly. They diagnosed our problem quickly and in no time our AC was back up and running. They even took time to check our split units that were not a concern at the time, without being asked.     I’ve used George Sherman for years. They always go the extra mile for customer service. After a horrendous flood in my kitchen in the middle of the night, I made an urgent call to George Sherman. The answering service had a manager call me immediately. Plumber Glen arrived within 2 hours of my call and I needed a new expansion tank replaced. Additionally the new tank was a different shape not allowing it to fit under the cabinet. No worries, Glen saved the day and moved the kitchen cabinet to make room for the tank. Glen also went out of his way to flush the water tank several times to hopefully extend the life and save me from replacing it immediately. Thanks Glen for being a great plumber with multiple talents and superb customer service. It was greatly appreciated!

    We woke up to a nonfunctioning air conditioning system.Dylan arrived early afternoon. He was very thorough in diagnosing the problem and was able to get the system running. He clearly expained what he had done and made recommendations to prevent future problems. Excellent!

    Initiated a comfort agreement with George Sherman due to past experience and uncertainty of HVAC system installation by unfamiliar company arranged by previous owner. Technician arrived promptly, did a thorough evaluation, checked the filter and cleaned the condensate line. Although the system was functioning normally the technician noted there were no safety switches on the condensate line or drip pan for the attic installation. Installed line and drip pan switched with all parts available on the truck. Another great job by George Sherman thanks to Tim.

    I have had a lot of Trane heat pump failures. Contrary to Tranes assertions its hard to stop a Trane Heat Pump, but that was not my case. So recently I asked Sherman Corporation to come out yet again because the heat pump was not working properly. They found the problem and fixed it at no charge. I am so grateful to Sherman Corporation for their understanding.

    We have used Sherman for years with a plumbing contract. Christos came yesterday, very punctually, and was extremely professional and detailed. He walked me through several issues he found, taking photos and offering solutions. He was thorough and took photos of pipe he replaced under the house that was sagging (before and after pictures). I would highly recommend Sherman and their service contracts.

    L have been using George Sherman at my restaurant and full time residence in Rehoboth for decades. They always respond to my calls in a timely fashion and provide same day service whenever possible and their employees are courteous and efficient . They have done jobs as big as replacing our entire residential sewer line and installing and servicing a Mitsubishi AC/heating unit and as simple as unclogging a kitchen sink drain. The cost has gone up over the years but is commensurate with what other plumbing companies charge and I realize all their costs have risen also which is especially true in a service industry which requires a lot of employees, vehicles and special equipment. I don’t mind paying for quality work .

    Chad and his assistant were fabulous installing our new Mitsubishi unit today. He had installed our heat pump and another Mitsubishi in previous years and did a terrific job.     Had Tim Breeding out for a minor service check. He found why I was having problems with air flow on my HVAC that no one else found in the last 10 years. The dampers in the crawl werent that visible. He found the problem and gave me more attention than I have had before, and I think solved the problem. Im asking for Tim to be my service person now.     Kevin Henry, plumbing technician, with The George Sherman Corp. Plumbing Division, earned more than 5 stars today. We requested an experienced diagnostician, on relatively short notice, and they were able to send Kevin to our home to help figure out an issue with both our kitchen sink faucet, and master bath shower. The water temperature was fluctuating and it wasnt the water heater; it was the faucet mechanism (in each case), though the shower was complicated as the handle had a corroded connection, with a stripped screw. Mr. Henry patiently explained the options, and after we agreed, he did a most efficient and professional job, especially with our shower. His work was done carefully, accurately and strategically accomplished. Everything was done neatly, and so professionally. He even wore plastic bags to cover his shoes and protect the floors, as the weather is messy. We are very grateful to Kevin and Sherman, and decided to sign up for a service contract with Sherman.

    Two plumbing companies were suggested that I try to fix the leak that I had coming from one of my toilets and I chose the George Sherman Corporation. I am so glad that I did! Jonathan was my technician. He was on time, kind, professional and honest about the work that needed to be done. He gave you options of costs based on the type of work that needed to be done. I was very grateful that he considered my finances by giving me the option to decide what type of work I wanted done. Will I use this company again if necessary?     George L and Riley came to replace our water heater. They arrived at 8:30. The job was bigger than was anticipated, but they were not deterred. George L., used ingenuity, to get the tank drained. He actually had to pump the water out of the tank since it would not drain correctly. The old water heater was so heavy it started to make the floor sag. George L. determined that the tank had not been sitting on a floor joist. George took the time to lay two 2 X4s perpendicular to the floor joist, so this doesnt happen again. He also patched a hole in the floor created by the old hot water heater. The two men took care of a very messy problem, without making any mess and cleaned everything up. George checked every faucet to make sure they were working.We are back in business and have plenty of hot water. Many Thanks to George L. and Riley!

    Geo Sherman Corp was quick to respond to our service need--a HVAC system that was not producing heat in this frigid weather. They had someone out to our home in less than two hours; found the problem; obtained the part and installed the new thermostat.     George Sherman Corp. is excellent. We have been customers for over 20 years. Not only is their service top notch but the office staff who answer the phones and deal with requests are wonderful. They are all well trained and extremely helpful. Yesterday I had a wonderful experience with the plumbing scheduler, Sandy Hitchens, who went above and beyond to address my dilemma. I had neglected to schedule an appointment to have our water reactivated for the spring/summer season. My cleaning service came to clean and there was no water!! Sandy tried really hard to find a service person to head over to turn the water on so that the house could be opened and cleaned for our arrival next week. And, although all the technicians were really busy, someone arrived and solved the problem.     I recently had the George Sherman Corporation perform my 2023 A/C Spring maintenance. I requested, and they sent, Dylan to perform this service. Dylan is an outstanding technician. He thoroughly inspected the equipment and answered any questions I had. In addition, he went that extra mile, and hosed out the outdoor compressor, plus sealed an area around the indoor circulating fan so it wouldnt draw in hot air. Dylan provides stellar customer service; hopefully Sherman recognizes his work ethic and value.

    Today Matt and Dylan performed the semi-annual service on our air conditioners. In addition to checking the units, Matt taped up the door to the air filter to housing to make sure there were no air leaks. I also had some loose thermostat wires. I showed them to Dylan, who affixed them to the rafters so no one would accidentally walk into the,It was a pleasure to have them over to our house.     Dylan repaired my heater and did the semi-annual maintenance on my HVAC. He has been here multiple times and I cannot say enough good things about his promptness, professionalism, and overall good manner.     Just had a plumbing service visit by Michael Roach. It was a recall from service earlier in the day after the original problem resurfaced. I called their office and was immediately scheduled for the revisit. Michael - not the tech from this am, was terrific. Quickly figured out what was wrong, knew what needed to be done and performed the service all with a smile. Great ambassador for Sherman. Recommend their services for all types of plumbing needs. In fact, I intend to sign up for their annual service agreement in the fall.

    I was ‘no heat’ and decided to have a new system installed vs continued costly repairs. The Sherman team installing the Trane HVAC system communicated with me very well and gave me a regular status. As a two day install they made sure I had heat after day 1 and that I understood the system even pointing out some changes for code safety. This was December 2-3 The team was very good and thoughtful and left the site in great shape. I don’t recall their names at this point but Jay Ours can fill you in on that. A job well done

    We have been using Sherman Company for over 40 years and George Sherman put the original plumbing in our home back in 1978. We have used their services and maintenance since then . Recently we have had problems with a sunk pump and how it hooks up with the electrical plug in. We are still working on that, but receptionists Rosie, Philamina and Antionette have been great to work with on maintenance agreements and service calls. It’s always helpful to hear a friendly voice on the phone!

Chad helped to address my concern about spacing in the utility closet by moving the heating unit over so that the water heater could be moved in the future. John seemed very knowledgeable when booting up the system and programming the new thermostat. Elias came back the next day and helped connect the thermostat to the Internet and my iPhone. He also gave me a good tutorial about the thermostat.

    After my house was built, the HVAC system installed by the builder did not work correctly. They tried to fix it many times. It wasnt fixed until Shermans guys came out and found the problem right away. They made a plan to repair undersized duct work that was installed by the builder. They worked for two days fixing the HVAC issues the builder created. They were polite, on time, cleaned up and did the job correctly the first time. My HVAC system works great now. After they fixed the issues my propane bill is half of what it was because the system now works correctly. I would give them six stars if I could.

And the outside units are very quiet too.Sherman works with Wells Fargo and through them I was able to secure 0% financing for five years!
