Adil and his crew did an outstanding job remodeling the apartment. Adil designed and closely supervised the work. The kitchen was opened to the living area and defined by a nice drop ceiling. In addition to the kitchen and the flooring, the two bathrooms were remodeled changing the prefabricated shower unit to a modern tiled enclosure. We were so happy with the finished product.

Home Repair team, our 1911 Lakewood kitchen went from makeshift workable to Houzz beautiful/Konmari organized.Adil’s confidence in his knowledge of old Lakewood homes had us choose E. A. Home Repair over a couple other better-known (to us) area competitors we had met with. E. A. Home’s very fair labor quote was the icing on our decision cake.In addition to knowing a building’s structural and mechanical components (Adil’s an architect), he has fabulous vendor connections. He set us up with a Pella rep for our replacement windows; a local Amish cabinetmaker; an Amish wood flooring company; Cleveland Granite & Marble for countertops and Design Surfaces for tile. For these and all other purchases made through Home Depot, we benefitted from Adils contractor discount.With demolition complete, Adil’s experience and expertise shined. He knew just what was needed to support a newly raised ceiling, secure an unsupported bathtub above the kitchen, to relocate waste pipes and plumbing, and rebuild walls and a floor at the back of the kitchen (once a porch.)A kitchen renovation is stressful. Of course you need to trust your contractor to get you through. But you gotta like him too. Adil is responsive, smart and affable. Adil and his team transformed our large unfinished 1925 attic from rafters and loose floor boards into an absolutely stunning and modern suite. The finished space is approximately 700 square feet and includes two large rooms, a full bathroom, and a kitchenette. The 10ft vaulted ceilings open the space, and the large exposed chimney adds character to the modern kitchenette. Tiling extends from the quartz countertop to the ceiling to create a beautiful accent wall in the main space, right across from the massive window overlooking the street and neighborhood. Adil and his team did everything and worked almost daily for months - electric, plumbing, framing, insulation, HVAC, windows, flooring, you name it. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly, professional, and hard working. We never saw anyone slacking off and they all worked harder than I do. I got two other quotes from large construction firms and they wanted to apply the same cookie cutter formula to my attic - cap the ceilings at 8ft, box the chimney in drywall, and no kitchenette. When Adil came into my attic for the first time, I could see that he knew the potential the space had. He immediately started suggesting the layout, talking about how beautiful vaulted ceilings would be and discussing how to best showcase the brick chimney. He always had great style ideas, from the layout of the space to the cabinet colors and hardware. We worked out construction plans before starting and Adil worked with me and the city of Lakewood to get them approved. Adil handled obtaining all permits and inspections, which is an incredible feat in and of itself in Lakewood. Any issues were immediately addressed throughout the process and any modifications we requested were made. I’m a bit OCD but Adil had no problem making sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. The end result is gorgeous, and now our “attic” is the best thing about our home. My 2 year old daughter used to call it “the spooky” but dropped that name now that it is nearly complete. There are a few details left still but we are highly satisfied with the experience.

Adil & team had a detailed and efficient plan for the whole house along with a budget that was mindful in taking consideration a good quality materials that would make the house esthetically pleasing, functional , and comfortable at the same time. Adil was quite accommodating and flexible when we needed things like the kitchen cabinets to be done in a certain way. In addition, he put his expertise and guidance in each and every step of the project and made sure we understand why he is going to do things the way he suggested. We are very satisfied with EA home repair.Scope of work: remove a closet from a weight bearing wall. Incidentally, hvac and electric needed relocated. Flooring had to be leveled. From a structural aspect, an lvl beam had to be installed and residually the studs had to be modified to support the additional weight. Both main level and basement. So this was pretty extensive work.Adil and his crew delivered on what was scoped. Price was fair and he is also very responsive so you are not left in suspense if you have concerns our needs.I would recommend to anyone with home renovations that you are uncomfortable doing. He demonstrates integrity and trust.

20 year Army Combat Veteran just returned home from Europe during the Covid-19 crisis to a 100 year old home in Lakewood. Those that know, Lakewood homes require a bit of updating. With two very young children, we needed an efficient, affordable, and reliable contractor which strictly followed the current lockdown rules and Covid-19 concerns. Without a doubt, this contractor kept the same exact people here until the 42 day project was completed which was paramount for my familys safety. They listened to all of our questions or concerns, and offered guidance to projects (and project ideas) that would or reason why they would not work. The team went above and beyond with quality craftsmanship and always discussed affordability with each task. When surprises arose the the contractor was flexible and very knowledgeable to help us fix the problem and get back on task. The communication was incredible with daily discussions and the team was always prompt and respectful of our time and space, especially under the current lockdown conditions. The contractor is amazing with children and at the end of every day his team cleaned up as if they were not even here to make the transition and construction livable and as comfortable as possible for us. I’ve owned rental property in Lakewood Ohio for over 20 years and have had my fill of contractors who either don’t call me back, don’t finish the job (which means I have to find another contractor), don’t clean up after the project is complete, or don’t stand behind the quality of their work. Even worse, many never understood how to do the job correctly in the first place.I recently had an emergency roof replacement on a flat roof of an apartment building in Lakewood.To make things worse this flat roof also had leaking skylights which made pitching the roof complicated and time consuming.I made the emergency call to Adil Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend when tenants called me with active leaking into their bedroom.Adil and his team of experts responded immediately to the roof leak and began a plan to rebuild the skylights and replace the roof and entire gutter system (which meant calling on his suppliers to provide materials quickly).His team was on the roof within hours.They were extremely professional, knew exactly the cause of the leak and how to address it, even working under extreme weather conditions in late November early December.This was a time sensitive and weather sensitive project they made themselves available even into the evenings.Incredibly, this complicated roof/skylight system was completely rebuilt within 2 weeks.In all my years of project management I’ve never had a company respond this quickly, thoroughly, and professionally.The finish work is high quality and the design work alone was impressive. Adil’s architectural background was the key to the entire project, along with his expert roofer who has been with him many years. Any other contractor would not have had the skills to take this on and do such a difficult job.I would recommend EA CONSTRUCTION to anyone looking for high quality work done right, at fair pricing.

I initially contacted Adil about a job at my home, but when my parents realized they had a horrible leak under their toilet, I knew they needed him right away! Adil and his co-workers are a wonderful group of guys. They did some truly amazing work in my home. The first job, six years back, was finishing my basement. Second one , after two years, was replacing floor carpet by hard wood for the entire house. Third one, after one year was remodeling the bathroom and last job, few weeks back, was replacing the A/C and the furnace with new one. Adil was always reachable by phone. He is more than fair with his prices and did so much more for me than originally planned.

I was really stuck as I was struggling to find good, reliable contractors to help me with quality budget solutions to my rental, a large century house in Lakewood . Then I found Adil of EA Home Improvement - he is responsive (he is fast!), communicative, smart, funny, honest, and just a good quality person. He has really come through with his team. They quickly finished the bathroom, put in new floors, toilets, fixed the plumbing, and now has put in new electrical circuits too. He understands how rentals work and his advice has been invaluable. Along with his experience, his background in architecture means that he really gets the big picture of what you want to do with your project. I cant recommend him highly enough.

Adil and his team were contracted the build out our entire coffee shop, Propaganda Coffee, in Lakewood. The entire experience with them, from start to finish, was wonderful. Adil is knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and diligent. He gets work done when he says he will, and does it properly. His whole team is professional and very hard working. They handled the permitting and city issues without fail, and were quick to respond to any issues and changes. If you need to see the quality of their work, feel free to come see our coffee shop; the fit and finish is evident. Two months after opening, Adil still comes in regularly to check that everything is functioning properly. He is genuinely invested in seeing that his work is holding up and everything is working as it should. I would call him without hesitation for anything I needed done at work or at home.

He and his team installed stair rails in my home and I am very pleased with the result. The project was not a large one, but Adil was willing and happy to fit it into his schedule. They are fantastic. They did a lot of work for us including backsplash in the kitchen, installing a fence, putting in security measures (camera, peep hole, etc).
