    Same day install of specific (but not unusual) water heater to replace B-W model that had provided good service but at end-of-life. Straight-forward swap, installer was friendly and took time to discuss other features of water system that will need repair. Good attention to installation details to contemporary standard. New heater seems to be working fine, but I should reserve a couple details until rest of system is brought up to snuff.

    The hot water tank was replaced less than 24 hours after I called. After a brief conversation a detailed quote was emailed to me for approval. They installed a new tank and everything required by code including the expansion tank, fittings and shut-off valve. A floor protector was put on the carpet, and the old tank and packing materials was removed. The work was fast - less than 3 hours - and very professional. The tech, Daniel, was great.

    ā­ā­ā­ā­ā­ These guys were FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Our tankless, gas powered, water heater stopped working last Sunday morning. I sent a text to #1WH, fully expecting not to get a reply until Monday. Totally surprised to get a call back from the owner within the hour. They would have a tech out 8am next day!!! Tanner arrived 740am, he was awesome, despite my dog not being nice. Tank repaired but we decided that at 15yrs old it was time for replacement. Tanner advised they had reserved time for us in case we needed replacement so he could do it same day. Tanner gave us a quote that included everything and several hours later we had hot water again!!!! Tanner did a beautiful job, obviously highly skilled. Family owned, local, friendly, knowledgeable, no up-sell, clean, reasonable pricing, DOG FRIENDLY!!08/27/2024 new service:We have a rental house in Burien, bathtub not draining, toilet moving around, faucet not working.Daniel arrived at 8am sharp. He was very respectful of the tenants and their dogs. He took a quick look and gave me a price breakdown for all the work. The cost was very reasonable and he was done in a couple of hours! The best thing was no up selling!!!!!I would HIGHLY recommend these guys. You wont be disappointed!!!!

    Got 2 tankless water hearers. Communication was really great. Although they made some mistakes, leaking after install, missed some power outlet etc... overall, they resolved them quickly and efficiency, even communicated with me on weekend.     My 16 yr old water heater tank suddenly developed a leak and noticed it starting to bulge from the tank seam.     I needed to replace my water heater, and #1 Water Heaters really delivered. Everyone I interacted with was professional, kind, and easy to work with.     I have to say that Frederick the owner of #1 Water Heaters took his time on a Sunday to come and assess my boiler system. I needed it replaced in a very short time line and he made it happen. Ezra came out on Friday and spent 13 hours making the change. I have nothing but praise for this company. Their pricing was very reasonable. I have told all of my friends that this is the company to go to if you have any heater issues.

    Frederick and his staff were very responsive, worked with me to evaluate my options and get quickly on the schedule when my hot water heater failed. His staff were knowledgeable and did a great job at install and cleanup. They also ensured all plumbing and facets were working and cleared some debris out of lines so all was working as expected before they left the job. Itā€™s was more complicated job since we had to cut in to my boiler plumbing as part of the work. Follow up from Frederic and his team after work was complete has been good. I recommend using this company.

    Had a tankless water heater installed as previous water tank was about 14 years old (original with home). Initial installation date was moved as plumbing tech (Ezra) was sick and not able to make it out so pushed that date a week out which was not a problem. I tried to prep the area so that they had access to the installation area as well as wall where exit duct was to be routed. All went well and I think they were done in like 4hrs or so.So far so good.Communication with Christa and Fred was good and they kept me up to date on installation date and any postponements.

    I recently purchased a home that has a tankless water heater installed by #1 Water Heaters. An inspector told me there was a problem with the release valve so I called #1 Water Heaters because they had done the original install.     Fredrick @ #1 Water Heaters was extremely prompt when I contacted him on Monday to provide a quote to replace an old Rinnai tankless water heater. Got quote the same day. Finally got 2nd competitive quote on Tuesday and his pricing was much better. Right around this time the old 16yo rinnai finally died and he managed the get the unit i wanted the next day and installed it the following day, Thursday. Its hard to find a contractor that does what he says hell do, and very pleased to have hot water again. I would definetely recommend A1 for all your plumbing and water heater needs.

I have had great interaction with Mitchell who helped get things rolling for us. There was a minor hiccup in communication but nothing that could not be resolved. I was able to speak with owner Fredrick who was very understanding of the miscommunication and he made the situation work and made it right. There is something to be said about local family owned businesses and I appreciate the hard work their team did, going over and beyond the labor involved in setting our new water tank in this hot weather.     Had to replace a leaking water heater and a second 16 yr old water heater. #1 Water Heaters was responsive with quotes, scheduling and communicated well throughout the process. Unfortunately one water heater (mfg Bradford White) had a manufacture flaw (anode rod was cross threaded) which caused a flood. The workers were apologetic, replaced the flawed water heater, and cleaned up the mess. After two days it started smelling moldy. They could have left me to fend for myself, but they came back a second time with equipment to dry out the carpet. Anyone can can get it right and receive a good rating, but this experience demonstrated when things go wrong #1 Water Heater is here to get it right. Thank you to the team and their apprentice training.

    Very happy with the service. Our water tank (old) stopped heating and nobody was willing to come out and take a look at it to evaluate for a possible repair. It was either you need a new tank and we can install it tomorrow or we charge $189 flat fee to come out and look at it, there are no guarantees, and the next service appointment is in 4 days.The owner of #1 Water Heaters stopped by our place himself, on a SATURDAY morning to take a look. We had an open and frank discussion about the situation and a new water heater was installed the following business day.
