    I needed an emergency sewer line repair. Kulkā€™s Plumbing was recommended by a friend. John Kulk came out did an assessment with a camera down the sewer line. Found a break and provided me with options and costs. I opted for a repair. They did the work on a Saturday from 10am and finished in the afternoon around 3:30pm. Everything was cleaned out - he assessed the full length of the line up to the connection into the city line. Gave me maintenance tips and best products to use. Kulkā€™s Plumbing is the best choice when it comes to quality and experience and price.

    On time, professional and fair prices. John arrived on time for the estimate to repair our leaky kitchen faucet. He said it couldnt be repaired and that it had to be replaced (it was 19 years old!). Gave us a website to purchase the faucet, which we did, and gave us an estimate for install. We scheduled John to come back and install it and again he was on time and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND KULKS PLUMBING. BTW - we had received an estimate from another very large plumbing company for the same thing. That company was going to order the faucet themselves and install it. Their quote was almost 3x what we paid for the new faucet and for Kulks to install it! We called Kulks for a second opinion. So glad we did! Next time well just call Kulks!

    The company itself is great. This is my 2nd time using them. This time was for a toilet replacement & install. The technician named Guy came to my house right on time. Was very pleasant, listened to my issues and got to work. Brand new toilet install from arrival to departure was just under 2 hours. He was very clean and tidy.     Kulks answering service set me up with an appointment within 24 hours of my calling. Kulks sent BILLY, who I would rate as a MASTER PLUMBER. He arrived at the appointed time and repaired the leaks on my three year oil burner. He had all of the parts with him that needed to replaced on my System 2000 unit. He worked very efficiently and checked to insure that everything was repaired and working before leaving. I am impressed and very satisfied with the work BILLY did.

    Kulkā€™s Plumbing did a massive job for me this summer, installing heat pumps, replacing an old inefficient oil burner and correcting water ph. All done professionally and I felt John has a personal pride in the work he and his crew performed. There have been two follow ups relating to the install and both times the response was immediate. They are top notch as far as Iā€™m concerned.

    We used Kulks to install a new Water Softener System in our home. We knew there was an issue with our water after going through numerous appliances in a short amount of time. After getting three other estimates that varied from $3k-$12k! depending on what they said was wrong with the water, we called Kulks who came out quickly. Kulks sends the water sample out to a third party water laboratory to test the water. All the other plumbers we called just used test strips and all three had different results. Once we received the results, the estimate for a new water softener and install was significantly less than the other plumbers we called. The person who answers the phone at their headquarters is super pleasant and very easy to speak with. Once we paid the deposit, they came out within a couple of days, installed the water softening system quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. I am beyond pleased with the service received and the professionalism we incurred. I am so happy I found Kulks and will be using them for all my future plumbing needs and I will refer every one I know to them!

    We had a great experience with Kulks. I called them after hours on Wednesday when my well pump stopped working. Two techs were at my house at 8 the next morning. They ran some tests and clearly explained what needed to be done. When the repair was complete they tested the whole system to make sure it was operating correctly.

    We highly recommend Kulkā€™s Plumbing . Our home is now 45 years old and we seem to be in constant need of plumbing repairs. To date, Kulkā€™s has replaced our kitchen faucet and piping , replaced the on/off valve for the main water supply, run tests on our house water and responded to an emergency burst pipe in our laundry room (due to a rusted out old water softener). We have several jobs in the pipeline too. All of the technicians have been polite, knowledgeable, and willing to answer questions. Jessica at the office is fabulous too, answering calls and returning calls promptly. We are so pleased they are nearby and reliable.

    We had a snowstorm today and our shower handle broke in our kidsā€™ bathroom after hours. The water wouldnā€™t stop running and we had to shut the whole house down. We were nervous nobody would come out in the storm, but Kulks did! Billy was great and made sure he capped the shower and tub as a temporary fix. We are able to use our water because of this. They will come back tomorrow to work on the bathroom. We appreciate them so much for not only coming after hours, but in a snow storm!

    We had a leak in the basement, which came from a pipe in the ceiling that led to the outside Hose spigot. The pipe had a crack from the winter freeze. Rich from Kulks Plumbing came to the rescue! When he arrived he assessed the issue and gave me a reasonable quote. As soon as I agreed, he went straight to work! The cracked pipe in the basement ceiling wasnt easy to get to, and it was a bit challenging to get the busted pipe out of the wall, but Rich finessed it and got the job done. He installed a new frost-protection spigot and pipe, and it looks very well done! Rich is a very knowledgable professional and I definitely plan to get him back for other jobs. He was also kind enough to address other minor plumbing concerns. I was also impressed with Kulks customer service the first time I called. They took my info and I was alerted by text and email regarding my service visit... I even received a tracking link when my technician was on his way, and the ETA was spot on! This was my first time using Kulks Plumbing and they were very reliable. From beginning to end I felt I was in good hands... I highly recommend Kulks and Technician Rich!!

    The owner John came out to do the estimate for installing a hot water heater due to my oil boiler sending little pebbles through the hot water and clogging up the pipes and pressure of the hot water. John was very professional and explained all of our options and what his professional option was on what type of water heater would be best suited for my family needs. The office staff was very professional and helped me with any questions I had about payments, financing and scheduling my services.     Kulk was recommended by a friend who said they were very good but expensive. I never mind paying for quality work. They came 7/1/20 to repair a couple of leaks and replace 2 valves. The work was done very nicely. Come February 2021 one of the fittings at the new valve began leaking. They responded within 2 hours to make the repair. The BEST PART is that they covered the repair under warranty. This is what a professional company does and this is why I donā€™t mind paying for true experts. Highly recommend!!!

    We had work done on our bathrooms by a contractor and there was water in our ceiling below one bathroom when they were done. The contractor said it looked like it was coming from the heating element which they didnt touch. They recommended Kulks plumbing. I called, never using them before, saying it was an emergency because by now the water was dripping on our stairs. It was on a Saturday around 5p.m. They came within one hour!! They determined the leak was caused by 4 nails that went into the pipe when one of the contractor workers put the trim back in the bathroom. Kulks worker put in a new pipe, bleed the heating system and all was well! Fantastic job. Kulk is now our official plumbing company. Their worker, Elvis, was great. What a relief he brought. I cant say enough.

    Rich arrived right on schedule for the estimate. After agreeing to the estimate, I questioned when the job could be started .... realizing that most contractors are very busy and scheduling work months away.He said he could do it right NOW.     We called Kulkā€™s on a Friday afternoon when we noticed a crack in a toilet tank and a slow leak from the area. They were totally helpful in guiding us how to turn off the water and drain the tank to prevent further leakage, and then walked us through options (replacing the part or the whole toilet). We opted to replace the toilet, they guided us through options, and we had an appointment for installation on Monday. They did a great job, removed the broken unit and hauled it away, and were done in 30 minutes. Great service.

    Of course my well pump would die on a Sunday night, but I had Kulks number saved in my phone from the last time they bailed me out. John came out and diagnosed the problem in minutes and I had a scheduled install time for Monday before he left.     We had to locate the septic tank at our house and Kulk foud it and dug out proper access to the system at a really fair price and quickly. They did such a good job I had them take care of our oil tank from before we switched to propane, plus install a main well filter and a vent stack.     John replaced my 35-year-old cast iron tub with a walk-in shower, remove old bidets and install new toilets with bidet seats. Unlike other contracters, John did not ask me to tear up the entire bathroom. They removed the tub and installed a Terra stone shower enclosure and fixtures. The old bidets were removed and piped sealed. We are waiting for a few parts to complete the job. Kulks was professional, were always on time and cleaned up at the end of every day.     It was Friday afternoon before the Memorial Day weekend and we had a problem with our propane tanks. These are larger tanks and used for cooking, fireplace, and our backup generator. I called my propane supplier and they told me they are all booked up and could not help. She promised to call me back in 5 minutes and was true to her word. She called back and had arranged for a technician to come to our home. Shortly after the call Patrick arrived at my home and handled the problem in friendly professional manner. I am so grateful to Antoinette and Patrick for all there help and kindness. This is an outstanding group of people and I highly recommend them to everyone in the area.     Kulks did a tremendous job relocating a utility sink and re-piping some of the water softener plumbing. The guys were extremely professional and I will definitely use them again!

    I called up late at night with an emergency situation and had not only was someone answering the phone, but to call back with advice to stop the leakage until John came out, but provided with a tracking system to know when he would arrive. John was as friendly and courteous as can be and only took care of what turned out to be a tricky situation. Highly recommend this company!!

    Kulk plumbing is a professional organization. Jessica runs a tight operation and works the schedule to get a technician to the job as quickly as possible. John and his crew show up on time and do quality work for a reasonable price. Iā€™ve used Kulk plumbing since we moved to the Rhinebeck area. Theyā€™ve helped with jobs small and large from faucet repair to the installation of a new boiler and oil tank.
