Living in a home built in early 1900 can be changeling at times. A drain running through a shallow crawl space had collapsed causing wastewater to collect in utility rock foundation wall basement. I contacted a local plumbing company. They determined the drain was cast iron and quoted cost to replace and reroute all drains in crawl space along with outside drains to septic. The existing drains from bath and kitchen had to be replaced with PVC and ran into the “cast iron” for about 12 ft. Drain from foundation wall to septic had been replaced with PVC when putting in new septic 15 years ago. They insisted it all needed to be replaced. Their quote was a lot higher than anticipated and they could not get to it for 3 weeks.I reached out to Red Bird for a second opinion. Matt sent his plumber out the next day to assess the situation and gave us an estimated cost considerably lower than local plumbing company. They worked on a weekend while we were out of town and exposed the 12 ft section of the Clay Tile, not cast-iron drain that had a hole in it. They also found a PVC sleeve running through the foundation wall. Within three days from calling Red Bird we were able to use kitchen and bath again. The employees for Red Bird were very respectful of my property cleaning up any mess they created in doing the work. They introduced themselves politely in the beginning and even took time at the end to get to know us a little. They cared about the work they performed and the fact we were pleased with it. In the end Matt’s cost came in below his estimate. We will definitely use Red Bird Remodeling in the future. We would give them a 10 out of 5 for their professional performance. Matt and his team installed 125’ of duct work in our crawl space in less than 3 hours! Very professional and very respectful. They also took care of some small extra tasks while they were there. Matt works hard to meet expectations on all of his work. His crew tiled my fireplace, created the mantle, covered my ceiling beams with the same beautiful wood, and added lighting. New concrete steps and entry pad to my back door were poured last week. The railing comes next week. I like Matt, Christian, Danny and all of the workers I have met.

If you’re looking for a top notch contracting company, we highly recommend Red Bird Remodeling. Honestly the best we have ever worked with. We added a full bathroom to our home. Matt, the owner of Red Bird Remodeling was great to work with. We had a need for the bathroom to be completed sooner than planned. Matt and his team of workers met the challenge, and completed the job just in the nick of time. Kudos to Javier and Tino who worked almost daily on the project. Hard workers, excellent craftsmanship, and pleasant to have around. Thanks Matt to you and your team. We are so pleased with how our bathroom remodel turned out. I was dreading having workers in my house for 3-4 weeks, but there was no need to worry. Tino did a fantastic job. He is very skilled, professional and polite. We hardly knew he was here. The work was completed on time and on budget. Matt was quick to respond to texts and calls, and we appreciated the communication with everyone involved throughout the project. We highly recommend Redbird for all your remodeling needs. We plan to use them again for our next project.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐If I could, I would rate RedBird 50 stars out of 5, I absolutely would. They are the embodiment of quality work done right by respectful people. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We had RedBird replace our kitchen countertops, install a dishwasher and sink (and rework the plumbing for these), repair a section of buckling basement wall, and install a new lamppost our front and I absolutely cannot recommend them enough! Matt was respectful, knowledgeable, and communicative throughout the whole process. He was such a joy to work with! He seems to genuinely care about the people hes doing work for, is kind and sociable, and holds all of the work that is completed to a high standard. Everyone else we encountered throughout the jobs were respectful and friendly, as well.We felt valued and respected with their practices - all employees wear a RedBird uniform/shirt so it doesnt feel like random people are walking into your home, they clean up their work at the end of each day if its still in-progress, they clearly communicate scheduling in a timely manner, they establish expectations with each job (Hey, this will be a little loud or Well be in and out over the next 3 hours etc) We expected to be inconvenienced and put-out while the work was being done, but with how mindful they performed the work and how precise they are with scheduling, our daily lives were hardly impacted.Our basement walls are white, and when Matt came through for a final inspection he realized that gray filler was used to complete the repair. He insisted that the work be re-done with an appropriate material. Both times, the quality of the work was excellent, and we are so grateful he took the time to ensure an appropriate color was used.Our countertops look gorgeous and were installed with ZERO collateral damage - no dents or dings to any wall, door, or floor! They facilitated a difficult dishwasher installation and re-working of the plumbing between it and the sink they installed. Again, we encountered no issues with either one. No leaks, no need to call anyone back out.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Functional, quality work for countertops, plumbing, electrical, and foundation repair - all performed by respectful, friendly people for reasonable and appropriate pricing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had some water damage that required a rather urgent partial demolition to our finished basement, followed by the need for a creative reconstruction. Matt worked to fit us in quickly to accomodate the basement foundation repair, and then drafted a great rebuilding solution to address our issue. Throughout the entire process Matt was an excellent communicator--he kept us informed about the various project stages, daily work schedules/to-do items, progress, etc. Everyone on the work crew was extremely polite and treated our home with care. The craftmanship was outstanding and our basement is back to how it was before the water damage. Basement water issues are extremely stressful, but Matt put me at ease from our first meeting, and that same care and attention was present at every stage of the remodel. Highly recommend RedBird Remodeling for any home project!
