I had Home Care and Repair come out and reset a French door that was extremely out of alignment. They had to completely cut the door free from the frame. It now closes and latches the way it was designed to do. They were cordial, professional and well organized. I would definitely recommend them. Great job!!

I had a horrible ceiling/roof leak that required several steps in the repair process; after the roof repair and water/mold remediation, Home Care and Repair handled the ceiling drywall repairs. They first sent Dennis to assess and estimate the job. Next they sent Chris to handle the difficult installation of drywall. Jeremy came to improve the stomp finishing work. Finally Tyler arrived to paint the entire ceiling to complete and match the finished project. Every contact was professional, considerate, hard-working and they arrived and left as promised. The owner and Joel worked with me on a compromise during the final finishing project, and they couldnt have been nicer!! My home is now looking good again, and I would recommend this company to everyone! Looking forward to their help with future projects, because Im elderly now and homeownership is a lot of work!-Chris Hunckler

From start to finish, we were very pleased with Home Care and Repair by Riverside. We were very impressed with Andys presentation and follow-through. He was always just a phone call away. Luke, who did the actual work, was a pleasure to work with. We were very comfortable with him being in our home. He answered any questions we had and explained things we did not understand. At the end of each day, he cleaned up the area he was working it. He was very polite, very friendly, obviously happy to be doing the work he was doing. Chris was polite, efficient and honest. One of the items to be repaired was a ceiling. Chris informed me that it didnt make sense to proceed until the roof was done. He didnt want me to have to pay again if the roof leaked and damaged the ceiling. I appreciated his advice and honesty. I will definitely use them again for repairs.

I was attempting to rehang some gutters on a new house when I discovered a wood rot nightmare. If you are in Tippecanoe County and you get that in over your head feeling when you find something wrong in your house, Home Care and Repair should be your first phone call. I had several estimates done, not only were they the lowest, but because of the complexity and specificity of the job, 2 of the other contractors actually recommended I contact them. My main point of contact was Connor S. who was not at all pushy and was always there to follow up and guide the entire process along. When they send out an employee, you will receive a text with a picture of that employee before they arrive, which makes me feel so much more secure about a stranger in my house. Seth came out and did the initial walkthrough and estimate. Once I agreed and made my first payment they were at my home doing repairs in no time. Dakota spent two full days ripping my siding apart, and then rebuilding my framing in a way that looks insanely more sturdy than what I saw him pull down. He did some super solid work, and even pointed out several small issues I had around my house that only a skilled eye would notice. Honestly he probably saved me multiple thousands down the road of not having to replace windows and framing or more siding and studs just from that advice. Lots of caulking and sealing to be done, so extra thanks for that Dakota! In the end, I got a project done to the exact step I needed so I could take over and do the parts I am capable of like painting and hanging a gutter, which helped me save a ton of money. They also supplied me with an inventory list of materials because they saw I had the ability to get them. All around a great company, full of amazing employees, and extremely knowledgeable builders who clearly know those little things that makes paying for their service absolutely worth it. I have a few more projects on this house I can not do myself and I know who I will definitely be calling.**Edit 5 month follow up: All the work that was done held up really well during the winter. I also ran into the Field Tech Dakota at a local hardware store. He recognized me, asked me about the job and if I was happy with it and if it had any issues. Again, completely amazed with this company and could not give them higher praise.

I recently had a drainage issue in my house. The plumber quickly pin point the problem. Followed his instruction, we asked Home Care & Repair to open a hole in the closet wall. Zach communicated with the plumber effectively and precisely identified the position. He cut a square hole, and put in a 1-foot square access panel so that the plumber can access it. The plumber fixed the drain blockage and the closet wall looks as usual. Everything works out so nicely! I would highly recommend Home Care & Repair (and Brenneco, the plumber company). They are professional and respond very quickly. And cost is reasonable.

I am so glad I had them fix my front door! I did not realize how annoying it was dealing with my entryy door every day. But now that it opens and closes effortlessly, what a difference! I get a little “Yes!” several times a day now as I go in and out.The technician was in and out in about 20 minutes, had everything he needed in the truck, adjusted both the lock and the hinges, and the door works better than it has in years!Thanks!

He did an incredible job, especially considering that it was 30 feet in the air, in a hard to reach position, and the piece had been a little bent in a couple of places during the windstorm.It was some great work!

Dennis installed a storm door for us yesterday. He was instrumental in helping us measure for the door, and explained the steps that would be involved. 3 weeks later the door arrived. He had to modify the trim around the door frame and made it look like nothing had been done to the frame. It was perfect. We’ve used Home Care and repair previously and have always been completely satisfied with there work. You know upfront what you are going to pay, and communication with them is excellent. I highly recommend them.

They either haven’t heard of Home Care and Repair or worse they don’t live in Indiana (which just tells me that home care and repair needs to expand)! I was shocked at how fast I was able to get great service from a knowledgeable and skilled technician. The whole process was incredibly convenient and extremely simple. They worked around my busy schedule and even waited to turn off a breaker until I was done with my zoom call! Riverside Home Care & Repair is absolutely fantastic! As an electrician (with Jefferson Electric), I sometimes have to make drywall damage to install electrical fixtures or devices in customers homes. We always use Home Care & Repair, and they are just about the only company that I would trust to use in my customers’ homes. They are respectful of schedules and communicate proactively. Their quality of work is fantastic, and they just know how to treat people right. While they’re not “cheap”, they ARE reasonably priced, and the value they provide is nearly unparalleled in a world where shoddy workmanship and lazy communication are rampant. They’re definitely the only “handyman” service that I recommend to people anymore…you won’t regret going with Home Care & Repair!!
