    I have nothing but great things to say about the service I received with Ben. He came out to our business when we had a bit of an urgent commercial kitchen drain issue. The issue ended up being a much bigger deal than was expected but Ben kept giving it his best. Long story short he killed it and then gave us advice on upkeep moving forward. He was very professional and a nice guy. I will be using them at our winery moving forward.

    I called to request when I could schedule a hydrostatic test after our foundation repair. They told me they could fit me in the next day and was promptly there at the agreed upon time. The technician completed the years quickly and provided the correct information needed to ensure my warranty for the foundation repair remained valid. Both technicians were friendly, professional, and prompt.Thia was not my first interaction with David and his company as I had called previously a few years prior regarding an issue with my water heater. He actually spent about 5 minutes talking through the problem with me over the phone and I was able to fix the problem with his assistance. I remembered that and selected them when I required this hydrostatic test. They are 2 for 2 and I would recommend them to anyone who needs any sort of plumbing repair, maintenance, or job done.

    This is an honest, dependable, knowledgeable company. I had tried everything myself to fix this leak in my wall and nothing worked. I called Clear and Present Plumbing because of the reviews I read and I was not disappointed! I sent a message through the website late the night before thinking someone might get back to me at the earliest later the next day and they called early THE NEXT MORNING asking if I was available that day. I was very impressed. Travis and Jesus called saying they were ahead of schedule and was I available now. When they got here I was expecting a quote and that I would let them know and they would have to schedule a time to come back. (Not sure if plumbing is different due to the nature of the business) but was floored when Travis quoted me an unexpected low price and got to work right away. He and Jesus worked together like clockwork and were done in less than an hour including cleaning up and waiting to make sure the leak was good and fixed. I slept soundly that night for the first time in a week. Thank you Travis and Jesus. You not only fix plumbing well, but reassure and de-stress the people you help and to me that is more important than anything. Sorry for the book.

    Today was my second experience using Clear and Present Plumbing. I needed my bathtub faucet replaced. While this seems like a simple do it yourself item, ours was quite stuck. I also wanted to be sure the pipe didnt break in the process. If the pipe did break, I was confident these guys could fix it.My first experience was about 6 months ago when tree roots had gotten into my sewer line. They were able to clear the line and replace the section of broken pipe.I highly recommend Clear and Present Plumbing and will call on them in the future.

    I came home from a business trip to a busted pipe in my yard (apparently running for days). It was after hours, but based on the word of mouth from my neighbors, my first call was to Clear and Present Plumbing before I even set my suitcase down. I was tired, anxious, and without any water, but David was quick in responding (even though he was out of town). He calmed my anxiety and letting me know he could have someone out the next day.Almost four hours earlier than expected the following day (a Friday), Travis and his team were at the house and able to immediately attack the problem. Their pricing was fair and upfront, and they were done quickly.     I called with an issue of water backing up into the bathtub when the washing machine emptied. I sent a message New Year’s Day and had an almost immediate response someone could come the next morning. David Richard’s let me know when he was coming. He diagnosed the issue of tree roots that had caused a break in the pipe with a camera. He explained the issue, showed me on the camera and advised what needed to be done. He completed the repairs well, was polite and positive

    I had to have a new water heater installed last November. They were able to come out and install the very same day I called them. Thanks to changes in water heaters over the years it was a real pain for them to install, but they were determined and got it done. Very friendly and respectful.Well, as can happen with the latest and greatest of modern products, a part seemed to go out and my water wasnt heating, had a heck of a time getting the pilot to light, finally seemed to get it (but I couldnt tell). I discovered the water was finally heating, but not more than 100 degrees. Sad when the daily temps are hotter than your water heater. Well, Travis came out found and replaced the part and got me up and running again. These guys have been amazing and courteous every time. STRONGLY recommend this company.

    Had a water leak along my foundation that another plumbing company failed to correctly diagnose or resolve over the course of about 6 weeks.I finally got fed up and called Clear & Present Plumbing. They got me on the schedule pretty quickly and showed up on time.Within 30 minutes or so, Travis found the problem, showed me where it was, and outlined his plan to fix it. It required cancelling a line and rerouting it but he managed to both diagnose and resolve the problem in less than 4 hours! A heck of a lot quicker than the other company that couldnt do it in almost 2 months.Travis was knowledgeable, respectful, and did a great job! I definitely recommend Clear & Present, and I plan on using them again in the future if needed.

    Travis did a wonderful job saving us from a horrible backup in our house. First, he came out and did an inspection before we purchased our home. Then he gave us some advice for a temporary solution for the problem we were having (a spring-loaded overflow cap!)Fast forward 4 months and that cap is the reason we didnt have overflowing lines inside our home. I reached out on Monday and they were able to come out and repair the damaged line by Wednesday. Travis and Jesus worked hard in the heat to fix us up.     I contacted about 10 plumbers to get an estimate for repairs on a home I was purchasing. No one wanted to give me the time of day until I contacted David - he took my inspection report and got me an estimate quickly. That was enough to get my business!     The first plumbing company I called told me I had to get a escavating company out because the water leak was too close to my electrical box.     They were actually the third plumber I called for this leak issue.They returned my call promptly. They went over the issue and made recommendations of things I could do on my own to avoid extra charges. They only made an appointment when they knew that they were going to be able to solve the issue. Once the appointment was set they gave me options of things I could do to prep for the appointment that would save me charges, I was busy and accepted the extra charges but I thought it was great that they were looking out for the customer in this way.     I had called Clear and Present Plumbing for a quote on some line work on my outgoing gray water pipe to the city. David was very responsive and he sent Travis out to come look at the potential job. Traviss integrity ended up saving me hundreds of dollars because as it turns out, the root issue I had was right at the cities T pipe and he had told me to try calling them first as it was likely their responsibility. I never even would have thought to do this based on the prior info I was given. I called the city that day close to closing and the team they sent out the following morning said that it was absolutely the cities problem!     On two occasions I contacted Clear and Present Plumbing for services at my home. One was for the repair of under-sink waste lines for my kitchen sinks and garbage disposer while the other was a much larger and more complex project to install a new natural gas line to my range. Both projects were done to my complete satisfaction. The gas line required opening walls and working in the limited confines of my attic space. The quality of the work was excellent. Permits and inspections were taken care of and the work sites were completely cleaned when the jobs were finished. Prices were reasonable, work was completed as committed, costs were on budget (much less than competitive bids), and all appointments were on time.I highly recommend David Richards from Clear and Present Plumbing. Should I need plumbing services in the future, I will not hesitate reaching out to David. In fact, I will not bother getting competitive bids because it wont be necessary.

    Reached out to David early Monday morning about a clogged kitchen sink in a house which I had just purchased and moved into. He responded quickly with a quote and offered to fit me into the schedule that morning. The clog proved to be significantly worse than either of us expected, approximately three feet of hardened grease and garbage disposal debris that had accumulated in a dip in the line about 25 from the trap which he showed me through the camera feed.Despite having to work on it longer than anticipated, he honored the original quote. He even allowed me to watch on his camera feed as he cleared the final bit from the line and pushed it on down into the main feed. The quality of service was excellent and timely, plus they cleaned up after themselves leaving the kitchen almost exactly as they found it, minus the clogged sink.Good service, reasonable price and prompt response. It is easy to recommend David @ Clear and Present Plumbing.

    I am a local business & Travis utilized my business restroom while at my shop.     Can one have a pleasant plumbing experience? I did when I hired David to find some problems I was having with odor and the installation of 2 new toilets. TMI? He checked vents and used a camera to see if there were any clogs in my drain. He explained what he was doing and why. He fixed the problems and all is working well. I had put up with my plumbing problems for months. I had called one other plumber and after he hadnt come in two weeks, I called David. He came the same day.     I had a toilet flange issue and called in to make an appointment. I was given the suggestion over the phone of how to fix it myself, which I very much appreciate. I still wanted to have a professional look at it and they were here within the hour. They worked quickly, cleaned up all the mess, and very reasonably priced.     We had C&PP come out to install our hot water heater in March 2023. During the visit they were professional and informative. They left the manual, extra batteries, and made sure we understood the basics before they left. Over the past weekend (almost 10 months later) we had a hiccup with our hot water heater - specifically the pressure. They walked me through a handful of checks and guided me to get my hot water back up and running after the fact without coming on site as well as what I need to be cognizant of over the next couple of days. The best part- they checked on me later that afternoon to make sure everything was still working properly.Superb customer service. I don’t see us moving away from them at all unless we move.

    Very satisfied with this company. In the initial call, David answered my questions completely. Their price to just quote was lower than others and the level of professionalism in the first call was high, so I went with them. The work was scheduled and I was contacted on the early end of the window given. For the actual work, Travis assessed the two issues quickly and stated the price for each individually. While the work was being done, Travis received a call to check on potential issues that were brought up during the intake call. It’s clear to me that teamwork at this company is very good, judging by that call and by how Travis and Jesus worked together. I had asked friends for recommendations and had found that a lot of companies charge extra fees for “showing up” or “travel time” so I was pleasantly surprised that the price I was given up front was the ACTUAL price. Travis also showed me how to shut off the water in an emergency, which was a nice extra. Definitely recommended.

    Could not be happier!!! We will continue to use CPP. We have a 1950s pier and beam house. Sinks and toilet were backing up and draining extremely slow or not at all, all gurgling loudly. Before David, 2 less-savvy plumbers said we had a leak under the house and needed to have all our sewer and water lines replaced, for THOUSANDS of dollars. David came out and took time to listen, think and analyze. Using his camera, he discovered a clog near the street. The City of Austin came and repaired the clog for FREE. Afterwards, David came back to check on things and to investigate the water leak under the house. He found our shower wasnt hooked up and was draining onto the ground under the house. He FIXED it in a couple of hours, adding a well-constructed access point under the house. When others didnt have an answer for the annoying gurgling, David simply added a vent to the sink, which fixed the problem instantly. Everything is working great again, for a fair price. David is smart, he communicates clearly and responds promptly. He and his partner James work together efficiently. David gave us a plan of action that made sense, which he and James executed within a few days. GREAT JOB!
