Navtek did an amazing job with our generator. From the first initial visit to the final visit explaining everything, it was an absolute pleasure. The installation was neat and professional. The workers were all top notch. All the permits were gotten very quickly. They know what to do and they get it done. We are so pleased and feel so much safer having this backup generator. It was a great investment. I look at it as insurance. No need to worry about 99 degree heat and no power. Navtek is the place to go when you’re ready to go with a whole house generator.

My home is in Polk County and for the last four years I tried to find a company to replace my standby generator with a whole house generator. It’s a large home with an attached guest house. I had three contractors out to give me estimates. They walked around, asked a few questions, suggested solutions and rough estimates. None of them collected any information of the electrical needs of the home or guest house. Two of them suggested that I may need two generators because the generators and transfer switches needed to be close to the electrical panels.I called Navtek office and after a very pleasant and informative conversation, we scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Navin, the owner came out on time and proceeded to collect information on the electrical needs of the home. He then suggesting a range of generator sizes that would be suitable. He quickly debunked the need for two generators and illustrated to me how he can install two transfer switches next to the main power panel to provide service to the main house and guest house – see attached picture of completed installation. He explained the entire process and an estimated realistic timeline to get from contract to completion.Navin and his team came out and did a phenomenal job – extremely particular about both appearance and function. They were on time for every appointment, were friendly, personable yet businesslike, knowledgeable, focused on doing the job right, and definitely achieving their company’s goal of providing positive and rewarding experience to their customers. Without any hesitation, I would recommend them to anyone who needs the services they provide.To attest to the job they did, my neighbor was so impressed watching them work and seeing the finished product, he decided to contract with Navtek to upgrade his electrical panel and install a whole house generator.Navtek will always exceed your expectations.

Navin and his team have always been able to accommodate all our needs! They have installed LED can lights throughout the house, installed above cabinet and under cabinet lights, installed can lights in every closet throughout, hung new ceiling fans, mounted and wired multiple televisions, exterior lights in the garage, a whole new panel in the garage as well as installing surge protectors. Would HIGHLY recommend as they are polite, efficient and leave no mess behind. Thank you all for all great things electrical 😉

I have been using Navtek for nearly 20 years. When you hire an electrician (or really any tradesman), there are a few things you want: Competence. Professionalism. Integrity. Navin at Navtek has all three.Navin has done at least half a dozen repairs or replacements at my house; none has ever failed.Navin is prompt, courteous, and friendly. You feel like the neighborhood electrician is there to help you. He also always remembers me, even when we go years without communicating.Finally, one of the very first things I asked Navin to do was repair a ceiling fan after I bought my home. He looked at it and told me the fan wasn’t worth repairing and to replace it. My subsequent research told me that he was absolutely right. When you hire a tradesman, you generally don’t know their field nearly as well as they do; that’s the whole point. It is very easy for someone to take advantage of you, and Navin could have easily charged me more to repair the ceiling fan than it turned out to be worth. But he did not. I’ve been hooked ever since.Navin is awesome. You will be happy with his work and his very reasonable prices.

Since 2004 when Hurricane Charley went through, we have had a small portable generator that was only used for the bare necessities, which did not include air conditioning. The last couple of years, the generator has not worked. We have been thinking about a whole house generator for several years and with the predictions for the 2024 hurricane season, we decided it was time to have one installed. A neighbor hired Navtek Electrical for their whole house Generac generator and we were pleased with the work that was completed by Navin (the owner) and his team. We had a lot of questions and Navin answered them as if he was answering questions for friends and family, not “just customers”. We also needed a new electrical panel and as part of getting the new Generac, we also had Navtek Electric replace our electrical panel.A generator is an investment in your home and your future. You never know when you may need medical equipment that needs electricity to function. Having the confidence that we will be able to stay in our home if we have outages for 30 minutes or several, several days, is a comfort.Navin completed our final checks, today 7/27/2024, with a couple of load tests in the morning. This was all completed by 10:00 AM. At 7:21 PM on the same day, our electricity went off and was off until 7:55 PM. While it was only a half hour, it was a half hour that we did not have to worry about “how long the power outage was going to last”. When our power went out, we texted Navin, letting him know our power was off and the Generac kicked on as it should. We now have NO concerns with the upcoming hurricane season, nor the many short outages we seem to have where we live.Thanks to Navin and the whole Navtek Electrical team. The install was completed in advance of when we were expecting it to be completed. The team members are professionals through & through and treat you as if you have been friends or part of their family forever. Nothing but positive thoughts / comments for this team and would highly recommend them to everyone.

Adding to an earlier review, Navin has done some excellent work for us. Our nonprofit animal sanctuary needed more power run to some lower buildings and Navin took care of all paperwork with the local government to extend power and waited until meeting with inspectors for approval. His team has installed lights in difficult places and hung a tall chandelier.All 13 of our smoke detectors went off at 4 AM. When I could not find a cause or shut off the piercing noise I called the sheriffs non emergency number and the fire department came. They checked each detector and flipped the breaker and were unable to stop the deafening noise. I called Navin and he responded immediately and removed the detectors in ten minutes and replaced them with new better ones.Navin has done other work for us that has been done perfectly and done reasonably. Several years ago, I wanted to add recessed lights to a very high angled ceiling and was told by others in the business that the work could not be done because the ceiling to roof space was too thin. Navin did a beautiful job installing lights into the ceiling and spaced the candles perfectly making the lighting a beautiful and unique part of the house. Reliable, honest, more capable of specialty jobs tha other electricians who work for large companies and franchises.

The Navtek team are really good. The work is done with safety, precision and no leftover messes on floors. Also, we have a smart home system and they fully understood it and how to integrate the added lights/outlets/LAN/fans into it. Highly recommended. Saturday, January 28th, your electrician, Carlos, came to my sisters vacation rental on Seven Eagles Way in Reunion. He was technically competent, professional, as nonintrusive as possible and personable. As it turned out the original problem was due to simple misuse of a light switch. However, he persisted until he found the cause of a breaker that would not reset. The cause was a short between an outlet and the box in which it was located. The outlet was located out of sight behind the sofa. Who knows what event that might have caused. He replaced the outlet quickly and cleaned up after himself. I have more than twenty years in facilities management. I select my contractor support carefully. We hired Navtek to install two lights. Both were large lights and the one above the main stairs required scaffolding. They did a great job on both. They also respected our prperty and left everything pristine.Later, I had trouble with the light/fan in our main bedroom. Turns out it was my error - didnt realize the wall switch used a battery and the fan still working was throwing me off. Navin dropped by to see what the issue was, and was gracious about our miss.Definitely a wonderful company run by a wonderful expert. Hard to find these days.

Navid was exceptional, Ive had my Generac generator serviced yearly since 2019, he showed me 2 things that hadnt been changed since 2019 & 2021, (along with all the other things that had to be changed) which he also changed. He cleaned out the inside of generator box(vacuumed), and the outside. He reattached a wire that had loosened in the box attached to the house. He explained everything he did as he did it. His work ethics were exceptional 👏 showed pride in his work. Very professional. I will continue to use Navtech (not just for the generator but anything electrical)and will refer my friends to them.
