Rodney was absolutely great, very communicative, and down to the point kinda man with a great personality. Ronnie and Shannon did an absolute amazing job on remodeling our entire bathroom , they came in every morning very determined to do a great job and in a timely manner . They didn’t stop from the time they walked in, very kind gentlemen. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to come in and get the job done correctly , with very appropriate prices . I’ll definitely be using them again!

We really appreciate the team at Simple Man Construction. They did some great work for us - deck, screened porch, guest house, and more! The crew was incredibly hard working and skilled in their trades. Everyone was not only professional and diligent, but nice people to work with as well. Rodney, the owner, took every call and responded to emails promptly - for me personally, this is a huge comfort. We look forward to working with them again on some additional projects in the future!

I was recommended Rodney’s team with Simple Man and hired them to rebuild a deck and enclose it with screen. Project was just finished up and have to say it came out exactly how I hoped. Working with Nick and his team was very smooth. Timeline was as expected and pricing was very fair. Will be using Simple Man again for future projects.

We recently had a remodel of our shower completed. The walls behind the tile were in horrible shape, and we had a long-term leak. The floor was weakened and was no longer sound. We were given the info for Simple Man Construction from my aunt and uncle who had a porch and roof built. They were also pleased with the work completed for them. When I spoke to Angel, she made an appointment for an estimate. She was very helpful and accommodating of our work and time needs. He arrived on time, and gave a very clear estimate, which was honored. I met him to discuss what we wanted installed, the type of shower insert, and shower head/spout. Once the work began, the job was completed efficiently and up to my standards. Rodney and his team made my bathroom a space that i no longer hated. It was repaired, and looked better than it ever has. They cleaned up after themselves prior to leaving, and no trash was left. I am picky when it comes to that. I am beyond grateful to Rodney and his entire staff. I didn’t get everyone’s names, but they were all courteous and professional. Ronnie, who completed the finish work of tile, drywall and trim, did a fantastic job! I am very pleased, and I would 100% recommend them for your remodeling needs.

Rodney and Russell did an excellent job on our 2 bathroom remodels. We had to do them one at a time so we always had a functioning bathroom. The house is 104 years old so they encountered many challenges that they normally wouldn’t but they got thru them all and the house looks great. Thank you for your patience and attention to detail.

I want to say Ive been looking for a construction company to build a deck for over a year, some were very big and well known in Kingsport and surrounding areas. How ever Im not going to call them out thats not how I am. But you all know who you are. So here is what happened I asked God thats right I asked God how something soooo simple be so hard well I was still looking on my phone at that time and low and be hold SIMPLE MAN CONSTRUCTION was the next one. Yes you guessed it I called them Mr. Rodney Powers called me right back we talked he came over but hold your hats he came over the next day WOW!!!! He took me through everything that was needed to be done that same evening.He went thru all the materials that would be needed,and the cost of the labor. Not only that but he took time to come back and went over everything in detail. YUP I hired him on the spot. It has been the GREATEST THING I EVER DID. His employees were very kind and professional they would clean up everything before they left. The lead man on my job was Nick super nice, very detailed on all aspects of the Job and very knowledgeable. Nick went over and beyond the job to MAKE SURE I was satisfied on everything and I do mean everything. I will use them for all my projects. If you dont call Simple Man Construction you will be sorry. GREAT JOB THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH. Very satisfied customer.

Wonderful experience dealing with Simple Man Construction, they were very professional right from the get go. All the appointments were met right on time, thankfully they did show up when they said they would! David and Amanda went above and beyond in doing the very best job in repairing a roof on my mothers house. They were very professional and worked diligently until the job was done on a very cold frosty morning! We need more people to be willing to work as they do! Thank you guys!
