    BEST Plumbers on the island! I am extremley impressed with Larry and his two sons. Over the past year OBX Plumbing has replaced all of my pipes from the street all the way through to my new bathrooms. I unfortunately had polybutylene pipes from the 80s. The Guys showed up on time, worked quickly kept the work place clean. Very respectful of my home and time. Highly recommend OBX Plumbing! Its beyond difficult to find reliable, dependable professionals here in the Outer Banks, so thankful we found OBX Plumbing.

    Larry and his sons are great to do business with. This is my second time using their services (previously had them convert my single vanity into a double sink vanity. This time I had an emergency leak one evening over the holidays on the outside incoming waterline. I called, and Larry answered. They got to me first thing in the AM and repaired things quickly. They were fast and professional, and communication was great. I will use them again for some planned work this spring!

    After agreeing to squeeze me in for a quick faucet install, it turned out my problem went much deeper than I originally thought. Drywall had to be cut and several hours of repiping my upstairs bathroom (which had leaked through the ceiling of my downstairs bathroom). Despite it taking much longer than anticipated, they were so accommodating and nice, and did a fantastic job. This is a wonderful family business and I will call them for all my plumbing needs in the future.

    Excellent experience! Larry, the owner, and his two sons, responded promptly to my emergency. I had a leaky/burst pipe that was behind a garage wall and no water. They diagnosed the problem and we’re able to fix without damaging the wall and at a reasonable price. They saved my day! My highest recommendation. Honest, reliable, and reasonable.

    Larry and sons took care of a drainage issue in our shower, on very short notice.Larry and sons were accessible, responsive and cleared the pluggage when it couldnt be cleared using normal techniques.Highly recommend.

    Larry and his son (Derek-spelling?) are top quality! Quoted prices are spot on! They come in, work, and leave. No double talk or clock milking. Hard working dudes. Incredibly knowledgeable and always share tips and advice. Have used them for a water tank removal and install (nailed the quote to the dollar) a busted kitchen pipe and a new kitchen faucet install. When the kitchen faucet broke it was around 6pm, they answered my phone call, were out at 0800 the next day AND installed the piping the CORRECT way. They always install things up to code and correctly!!! Can not recommend them highly enough! Five stars all the way. Thanks guys!

    Ok, these guys rock. Here’s my story:Christmas Day, 2022. Renting a house on the beach in Nags Head with family. Was 15 degrees last night. I was walking on the back deck today after the temp crept above freezing and heard the ominous sound of fast-flowing water under the deck. Walked down to see the outdoor shower right next to the first floor back door spewing water - big time. Valve burst. Luckily I caught it when I did, as water was already piling up and within an inch of entering the back of the house at the lower level. Called the rental agency who, frankly, were pretty useless. Was pretty sure they would maybe show up, if they did, after major water damage to the downstairs. So in desperation called the first plumber I saw online - OBX plumbing. Larry answered. He was enjoying Christmas with his family, but perhaps hearing the desperation in my voice agreed to come over with his son and take a look. He was there within 30 minutes. Fixed the leak by turning the value that I couldn’t reach or turn due to salt corrosion. Problem nipped in the bud. On Christmas Day. And here’s the kicker - he and his son said they we’re doing it for free. I paid them something anyway but probably less than they would normally charge. Larry and his son turned a stressful and potentially disastrous situation into a very cool chance to have someone do something very nice on Christmas. Can’t say enough good things about these guys - they don’t make ‘em like this anymore. If I lived here I’d call them anytime I had a plumbing need (and probably occasionally when I didn’t just to chat and crack jokes)…
