    We recently hired Action Plumbing for a full repiping of our beach home, and we couldnt be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the quality of their work and the professionalism of their team have exceeded our expectations. Every technician weve interacted with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. Their communication was excellent throughout, and they were quick to respond to any questions or needs we had along the way.     I first used Action Plumbing a little over a year ago when I arrived at my home in Corolla to no hot water. Mike arrived and confirmed that the hot water heater had finally given out but said it had a good run. He was back the very next morning, as promised, to install 2 new hot water heaters.Fast forward to today, I had an appointment for low water pressure. I was lucky enough to get Mike again. He was knowledgeable and professional in his findings. Once shower heads were removed, the water pressure was as it should be. Since the fixtures were original to the house, there was likely a lot of buildup so we replaced the shower heads. Everything is working exactly as it should and we couldn’t be happier that it was an easy fix.Because of Mike’s kindness, level of knowledge and professionalism, we will only use Action Plumbing going forward. Both times it has been 5-star service!!

    Mike from Action Plumbing came when scheduled, found issues that had existed for years and been allegedly fixed by other plumbers and he actually fixed them. He was extremely professional and took the time to find the elusive problems. He also kept things neat and clean and left no mess behind. The price was extremely fair. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

    Update November 2024: had some issues with our water heater, not related to problems from previous year. Mike and Luke took care of the issues with professionalism and perseverance, and the water heater is working well again. The office staff was helpful as always. Thanks Action Plumbing!November 2023: Had extensive issue with our Navien tankless water heater. Action came out the same day I called, and diagnosed the issues. Replacement parts were ordered and installed over a couple days.Teesa in the office, and techs Luke, Mike, Steve, Alex, James and Cal were all very helpful, courteous and professional. I recommend Action Plumbing!

    I truly cant say enough good things about Action Plumbing. We had a problem after an installation of a sink and they were very responsive to get it fixed. Things can always happen but its how you respond that makes the difference from an average company and a great company. They are a great company you can depend on. Everyone from the office staff to the guys that show up are wonderful to deal with.

    We moved to the OBX almost 2 years ago and we only use Action Plumbing. 2 times we have called them with emergencies and they always do their best to help us out.     Our hot water heater unexpectedly died, and I called Action Plumbing at 11:00AM. I was expecting to have to wait a day or two to get it replaced, but when I spoke to Lynn she told me she would try to rearrange a few things to get it taken care of that day. And she did!!! She sent Jason (Very friendly, knowledgeable...and cleaned up afterward!) and he had it installed and working by 5:00PM. My wife was taking a hot shower at 6:00PM. Action Plumbing will be my first call for plumbing jobs from now on. Thanks for the great customer service Lynn!!!

    1st time I had an emergency. It was a Sunday morning, the plumber stopped by, it worked out good timing. He took care of the issue ,second time they werent sure if they could get me in. The plumber was finished with his work day on the way home and took my call . Replaced the other leaking pipe.

    Action Plumbing Services on the Outer Banks has been my first choice for plumbing needs for many years. Plumbing emergencies are never something we want to happen, but when it does, it is great to know who to call. Once again, it happened . . . a call to Action Plumbing, and a tech was at my home in a quick and responsive manner. The tech was friendly and professional in every way. After a quick repair of an obvious leak (after a freeze), it was apparent that there was another issue . . somewhere underground. It was decided that, after in the ground for 25 yrs, that the main waterline needed to be replaced. After getting the area flagged, a team of techs showed up . . again, all friendly and professional, and got right on the work to replace and re-plumb a new house connection. The work was done quickly and professionally by experienced and competent techs. The office staff kept me informed of the progress of getting site flagged and when the techs would be doing the work.     The nicest, most professional business! We had a pipe burst for our outdoor shower on our rental this morning.     Action Plumbing is the best plumbing service provider on the Outer Banks. First off, they get the basics right - they answer the phone, they call you back, they show up when they say they will and of course they do quality work. A+ for professionalism! But they are also a company that takes it to the next level by making helpful suggestions, really brainstorming with you on the best way to handle a tricky problem and taking aesthetics seriously. They are not a get it done just to get it done and get out of there company. And on a recent visit, they did 2-3 other small things just out of consideration that werent even on my list like adding more support to a drain pipe they noticed and even tightening the door knob to my basement! John and his team are on my go to list for service providers in OBX.

    I cant say enough good things about this company! Fast, on-time, did an amazing job installing faucet and getting a corroded hose off our outdoor bib. They even called me to tell me that their technicians had some extra time and if we wanted them to come earlier in the week! Its hard to find contractor companies that are doing it right, and this company seems to be very well-run, has their operations running smoothly, with great technicians.     Action PlumbingIt’s been a few months now, but we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to thank Shane, our plumber from Action Plumbing, for the exceptional service he provided to fix two issues. These were the same two issues that other plumbers, with other companies, were unable or didn’t have the perseverance to solve. We had water pressure and drain line problems that Shane was able to diagnose surprisingly fast. Unfortunately, the fix required more time than his schedule allowed but he was determined not to leave us hanging. He received permission to take the extra time to fix our issues on the spot rather than have us make a separate appointment to accomplish the work.     Beyond awesome service! Kitchen faucet started leaking badly on Thanksgiving day. I left a message asking if we could get on the list for the following day. Got a return call immediately and said if I needed them that day they would! Got a call the next morning and scheduled the service visit within the hour. James came and had the faucet replaced in no time. Great guy! From the first call to the service appointment, every person was so polite, helpful, and professional.
