    We called around 7PM and someone arrived by 7:50. We knew we were going to pay the overtime rate, so we were prepared for the huge cost. The gentleman was incredibly friendly, (he even laughed at my husbands bad jokes), he wore little coverings over his shoes and also had on a mask. He was knowledgeable, clean, and efficient. I should add that he had to try several things before the kitchen sink was able to drain. We appreciated his willingness to keep going until he finally found a way to snake the drain over 35 feet.

    I have been a customer of Michael & Son for years and never disappointed with their quality of service. Robert Nicolay came today to replace the fan motor on my heat pump.He is always excellent! Methodical and very focused throughout the service. Extremely professional.Listened carefully to any and all questions...answered them with complete confidence. Michael & Son is by far the best heating, plumbing, electrical and air conditioning company. They stand by their work 100%! It is truly a team from the topdown!

    Luis was knowledgeable, polite and effective. He performed the annual A/C clean up and when he identified an issue he repaired it effectively and also recommended additional protection measures. I am very glad with M&S and I have been a loyal customer for years.

    Matt came to check out my AC unit after a long no inspection cycle over Covid. The system was operating well and I did not expect any surprises. Matt confirmed this and did a detailed examination. I did not know the inspection was by the system so the total cost was double what I expected. But the work and report were excellent.

    Plumbing problems, called in morning, came in afternoon the same day. The office kept me updated with the ETA of their plumber. BTW, the annual contact with them is worth it. It turned out to be a difficult job. The plumber, Stuart Turner, was patient, professional, and with a can-do attitude. After the problem was fixed, he tested repeatedly to make sure of it. Ive used Michael And Son for many times of my HVAC, electrical, and plumbing works. They are not the cheapest in town but I am happy with their services and professionalism so far.

    Extremely prompt service. I called for a small job to be done that my presale house inspection had revealed. A technician arrived within 2 hours and completed the whole job in less than an hour. Very high standard work.

    I had an unpleasnt experiecne with one Michael & Son electrician during Covid and asked them never to send him here again. They accommodated my request. This time they sent Javon Posey and he was EXCELLENT. Knowledgeable, polite, and very easy to work with. I am posting this review to commend him in particular.

    Stuart was AWESOME!We called Michael & Sons to investigate plumbing issues in the home we moved into a couple of weeks ago (Feb. 2023). Stuart was the most professional, determined and patient technician I have ever come across - ok , I’ve only dealt with about 7 in my life but Stuart was exceptional. He diagnosed our core issue as a blockage in the mains and took the time to snake everything out, all the way back to uninstalling (and reinstalling) a toilet. Total of over 100 feet, I do believe. If Michael and Sons guys are all as good and meticulous as Stuart, you can be assured of quality, professional service.

    We had a tree branch from our neighbors yard knock our down line from the power line to the house into the street. Michael & Son came very quickly and addressed the issue. Aaron was great and we’d definitely use them again.

    We had a sewage backup on Saturday and we were able to get them to come Saturday afternoon. The technicians were very easy to talk to and helpful. They really put us about as much at ease as we possibly could be given the circumstances. They will be back again Sunday in a few minutes and I expect continued excellence.FOLLOWUP: after the initial technician visit on Saturday, they called someone else to snake our drain until 1am. Sunday they came back to followup and clean and in the middle of that, the backup started coming back though our pipes. So they called someone else to snake the drain again, and they got as far as 9 feet from the house in the front yard until they couldn’t got anymore. They said they needed to do an exploratory dig which would cost almost $10k and had us deposit about $3k. Later on Sunday we called WSSC and they determined the blockage was their fault, and cleared it through their pipes on the street. So we no longer needed the exploratory dig so we canceled it. Both my wife and I have called to have it canceled and it was assured that it was but that charge appears to still be on my wife’s card. On Monday, the Michael and Sons technicians came to get their equipment and recommended an asbestos inspection, which happened on Tuesday and that tech said he would bill Michael and Sons. So, in the end, we should be billed for two tech visits, two snakings, one pipe picture taking job, and the asbestos inspection. PLEASE ENSURE THAT ANY CHARGES FROM THE “EXPLORATORY DIG” ARE CANCELED

    I called another company before I called Michael & Son. That company arrived an hour late and told me they don’t know what was wrong with my heating system after inspection. I found Michael & Son on Google, but I really don’t know what to expect because I have never used their service before. I made an appointment and was quickly able to have an technician come and take a look the next morning. My technician Mohan Maharjan identified the problem within 5 minutes, and quickly resolved the issue that the other company was not able to deal with. I’m very happy with their service and signed up for a service contract. I will continue use Michael & Son going forward. Michael & Son demonstrated true professionalism.

    I was happy with the service I received from this company. They were running a special on heating system tune-ups before winter. The technician spent about an hour and seemed to do a thorough check-up of the system. He also made a few suggestions for improvement.

    Overall, I had a very good experience with Stuart fron Michael & Son. He came out on scheduled time to run a snake on my main sewer line, which was clogged up, and handled his business well while being very Professional. The only reason I am not giving Michael & Son 5 stars is because they are expensive or, shall I say overpriced, so be ready to haggle with them.
