    Okot Electric did a fantastic job for me, they responded in a timely manner.. I own a small contracting business, David’s Improvements, I specialize in kitchens and bathrooms, one of my customers needed a new service installed. This company did a five star job. they answer their phone, or they get back to you ASAP, they are polite. They are courteous, they text you the email you, etc. when they are coming and when they are finished, one of the great things I like, is they did not ask for a deposit, or did they ask for any monies until they were completely finished. For a company that can complete a job in the amount of time that it takes them, This is a fantastic asset.. their technicians are very professional, and I enjoyed both of them and trusted both of them on my job site. If you look at my reviews, you’ll see I go above and beyond for my customers and I believe this company meets my standards. I definitely will start using this company full-time. I don’t do a lot of electrical services but I will refer them to my customers and or if I need work completed. Once again, I give this company a five star review and recommend them highly.

    Family organized business. That is pro-military appreciation. Cody came out and provide a down-to-earth no cost or commitment consultation on the projects and concerns I had. By the next day I had multiple qoutes emailed to me to review.Day of service. Jacob & Frank arrived and were very professional and knowledgeable in answering multiple questions I had about maintaince, operating features to installed items. Both also entertaining duo and I was able to continue with my other home renovations without any need to chaperone.Pricing was competitive and they even worked with me on odds & ends things to lower cost.Highly recommend reaching out to Okot for any electrical needs or wiring projects. They without question are my go-to for future upgrades to my house.

    Honestly, this company was great. They were quick to schedule my estimate, the person who came to do the estimate was so thorough and detailed. I got the quote quickly and it was VERY reasonable. They were able to get me scheduled very quickly and the guys who showed up to do the work were very efficient and professional. We had quite a few projects that they were doing for us and everything was done in less than 4 hours. I work from home and they were able to make it so that I didnt lose power and could keep working. They cleaned up SO thoroughly and the work is great and high quality. I would recommend this company to ANYONE. They were amazing.

    Fantastic experience with Okot. We had them work on a variety of installations as a part of our basement finishing project: Repair of non-working outlets switches, installation of new, relocation, etc. We had specific needs on location and design as a part of the project. Okot listened and worked with us every step of the way. Okot performed high quality work and it looks great. Prices were fair, and they maintained a clean worksite. Highly recommend Okot and we hope to have them back for our next project!

    We had a couple of different projects done by Okot. A new electrical panel and also wiring and controls for a newly installed heated sidewalk.     This was maybe one of the best experiences I have ever had with a service provider. I found Okot Elec. from a Google search and the five-star reviews they have are well-deserved. Okot responded to my request for an estimate immediately and also scheduled the estimate quickly. Their electricians Frank and Jake were in a word fantastic - their were prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, efficient and very neat - they protected my furniture and floors where they worked and cleaned up completely when they were done.     Phillips and Francis were here at 8:00 a.m. as scheduled to install a new 150 amps panel. I chose to replace the old 100 amps panel and the exterior entrance cable was terribly weathered. They installed everything new, including the weather head and meter socket. They worked all day until 4:00 to get the job done. It had rained pretty hard off and on all day, so that slowed them down. Their work is neat and well organized. I am happy with the work AND their pricing.

    Francis was great, I thought it was a simple GFCI outlet replacement, after extensive troubleshooting he identified that a recent contractor had cut and taped they power line feeding the outlet which was a fire hazard, he made the necessary repairs to the line and the outlet is back in working condition. Very friendly and thorough job. Thank you!

    I had an electric car outdoor charging station installed and my entire experience with Okot Electric was absolutely wonderful! Cody arrived right on time to complete a swift consultation with what a wanted to do and gave me a very fair price (I had two other electricians give me higher prices). Then, a week later, Philips and Francis arrived to complete the job. They worked diligently and were very clean and tidy. There was even a small bump in the project when the EVSE took a different size conduit then what was being used, and the guys went out of their way to change their plan a bit and get another size conduit to fit. They finished all in the same day, and it looks and works perfectly! Thanks so much guys! I recommend them over everyone else.

    Awesome, indeed! (Words of the previous reviewer!)I would like to share my gratitude and praise for an outstanding job completed by Philips OKOT and his team. They were precise, patient, thorough, and committed to doing things right, correcting numerous mistakes and oversights by 3 previous contractors. Philips made suggestions on the right and best way to do things in my 120 year old home. I felt confident about everything they did to make it a safe dwelling. He ran dedicated circuits where necessary and addressed upgrades to meet current code requirements. I loved that they were experienced in smart switches as well. I didn’t have to explain what needed to be done.There were many obstacles and hurdles that they had to overcome to achieve a fully inspected dwelling. Not to mention that they had to do this AFTER walls were finished instead of prior to drywall finishing. But, they did it with a very pleasant and positive attitude even when the schedule had to be extended. They were punctual and always informed me of any changes to the schedule and worked around my schedule as well. They were one of the few contractors that was not put off by questions and suggestions that I have had the opportunity to work with.I would like to call out Okot’s use of technology to make things easier and for efficient for the ir team and for the customer.     I had a closet ceiling fixture that stopped functioning. I called Okot based on their 5-star reviews and was not disappointed. Cody was dispatched to give a free estimate, and returned later in the week to convert my fluorescent fixture to LED, and working order.     Hard to find a good electrician. We had a problem with our bathroom GFI and light switch. Contacted Okot Electric and was amazed by how fast they responded.     I needed to have a 240V/30A circuit run for an exterior project. Okot was everything I could want from a contractor: they were professional and on time during both quoting and performing work, priced reasonably, and excellent in communicating their requirements and scheduling. They also had the best turnaround time of the six contractors I interviewed, and were excellent at detailing the scope of work in their quotation. They will be my primary electrical contractor for any future projects, and I could not be more content with their work.

    I wish there were more start to give to Okot Electric. This was the third time I used them to make electrical upgrades in my home. I wouldnt consider calling anyone except Okot Electric for electrical work in my home.Previously, I had hired Okot Electric to install an outdoor electrical outlet and on another occasion to repair the range hood in my kitchen. This time, I had a bit of an emergency as a breaker failed in a 90-year-old sub-panel and I was without electricty in half of my home. Not only was it inconvenient to be without power, there were concerns regarding safety due to the age of the wiring and equipment. Understanding the urgency, Phillips Okot found the time the very next day to make a service call to assess the situation, and took time from his personal life to make the repair on a Saturday. He also recommened that due to the age of some of the wiring I shoud install a whole-house surge protector. Thats been ordered and Phillips will install it soon.

    Philips was excellent. Both Philips and Francis replaced an outlet that should have been a floor outlet. The outlet also needed to be raised. Looked into fixing a sconce and the possibility of putting a recessed outlet behind a picture frame. We are very pleased with their work and would call on Philips again.

    I had Phillip (I believe that was his name? Im horrible at remembering names) come to the house both times. He was so nice, explained things to me, didnt make me feel like I was rushed, fixed my first issue and then when I asked about another one he got me a quote and on the schedule again in a timely manner. Came back did the job. I was unsure about something with that job and when he explained it to me and I decided I didnt want to go that route and to just do the one part he was fine with it. He didnt try and and talk me into it and then took that part of the job off so I didnt have to pay for it. Not pushy at all. I think it is almost impossible yo find good work in all aspects anymore and Okot has definitely been able to be professional, good work, available in a timely manner, and most of all I feel that they are ethical and honest. I cant remember the last time I found a company like this. Would highly recommend!

    Okot Electric exceeded my expectations for re-wiring two rooms in an old home.     Recently used Okot Electric to have several outlets updated and some rewiring done in my home. Id called (or tried to contact) at least five other electricians before finding Okot. The others - at least those that got back to me - acted as if Id requested a 3D rendering of their wiring plan schematic when I asked for more information about their estimates (for example, wanting a line item breakdown, not just a single price for the whole job, or wanting to know why one - and only one - company felt my less-than-10-year-old breaker box needed to be completely replaced). Okot was just the opposite. Straight away, they provided a comprehensive, easy to understand estimate & were easy to talk to when I had questions. Their pricing was very reasonable, they got the job done quickly, and their staff was extremely nice and clean. (They even liked my pets!) We had a little scheduling mix up that they practically bent over backwards to get worked out. I really cant recommend these guys enough. Doubt I could have found a better company. 100% will call them again if I need anything electric done.
