I believe that the true character of a person is when you-know-what hits the fan... The house underground water main was hit by a drill while installing a grounding line. It was a mess. And, Malfettone could have walked away from it. But, they brought in all the necessary people, got the water main fixed and the project back on course in just 48 hours. Jason and Mike kept me fully informed at all times while the emergency repairs were being made by an entire crew of repairmen that they coordinated. A job well done while under pressure.

I cant be happier with the work of Malfettone Electric. Jason was quick to respond to my request and came out to my apartment to discuss the scope of the work and the quote. I wanted to install some light fixtures, move some lighting, add switches, and move the thermostat. Within two weeks the work was scheduled. The team that came to do the work was on time, friendly, and kept the apartment very clean. I will recommend Malfettone to anyone whos in need of electrical work.

There are so many great things to say about Malfettone Electric. I needed a few items to do and contacted Jason. We had a video walkthrough over the phone and felt confident in his ideas. He gave me a few difference lighting ideas to brighten up my new home and wow, what a difference. We installed recessed lighting throughout our home. We also upgraded our service panel to 200amps so we can install our new electric charger in our garage area. Everything from the ideas and way he explained everything, I felt comfortable. His team did a great job! They were very clean, polite and marked all the locations for the lights before they made any holes for my approval. Will definitely call them again for future work!

We had a great experience using Malfettone Electric to install recessed lights and ceiling fans. Jason was prompt in responding to our queries and providing a quote. Provided guidance on the placement of recessed lights, type of bulbs and other specifics. On the day of the install, they were very punctual and got lights and the fans installed pretty quickly (in a day). Very professional and very thorough and respectful. We had a great experience with Malfetone Electric. Mike and Jason provided a prompt, affordable quote and communicated to provide excellent follow through start to finish. We lived in our house during a top to bottom full rewire. Luigi, Carlos, Juan and Elmer worked together seamlessly and neatly giving us the space we needed. The work is impeccable and communication throughout the job left us with exactly what we wanted. Carlos, Mike and Jason helped us with focusing our vision for our home and provided great suggestions. I got their reference from a neighbor, who also used them to do some work and we were very impressed by them.Right from the initial interaction with Jason to the final work, I found them very courteous, professional, timely with a top notch quality work. They were transparent throughout around the scope, pricing as well as the schedule. Our work stretched over couple of days and they were at the door right at the planned time. Jason was in communication through out with his team, and me, and solved anything unplanned promptly, for e.g. if the fans we got was the right one, etc.The working team was excellent. Right from ensuring that the inside of the house was clean by using plastic rolls to walk over and covering the room to double checking our preference before making permanent changes, they were true professionals and friendly through out.Ill recommend them for any work. These guys are truly the BMW of electrical work.

I needed some electrical work done in response to an inspection report while selling my apartment. Malfettone was able to assess the scope of work off of photos in the report, and provide me with an alternate solution at half the price. They then got me on the calendar and completed the work in a timely fashion, and supplied photos of the completed work in order to satisfy the inspection contingency. All in all it worked out well for me, and I would recommend them highly.

Before selecting Malfettone Electic, I received several other quotes. They werent the cheapest of the bunch but rather the one that provided the most information before the job. This was really helpful for planning things out.Once they were on site for installing about 20 new downlights, a new fan, some new outlets and some decorative lighting fixtures, they moved really quickly. But, the crew was also incredibly flexible. For example, once they installed a few new outlets, it was obvious that one of the older ones was at the wrong height. So, they quickly fixed and patched the old one to match.I used to work in commercial construction and have had my share of good and bad experiences. I can definitely say that working with Malfettone was a good experience and would highly recommend them.

Tesla EV installation is flawless. I thought it was as rare as a unicorn, but it exists! I found the highest standard for professionalism, technical expertise, and customer service: Malfettone Electric. Even though Jason Malfettone was away on a business trip, he was constantly keeping in touch with me, providing information and documentation needed for the work. Electricians Elmer and Carlos arrived right on time, and expediently installed a 240-volt outlet and new breaker box. They did their job cleanly, and patched up all the sheetrock impeccably, to where I almost missed one of the patched holes, it was so well done. All I have to do is lightly sand and paint. I went to clean up after they had left, but there was nothing left to clean. Not a speck of dust! I am so impressed. I cant recommend them enough.

This review is long overdue but better late than never :) . These two gentleman are truly the best in Jersey City and the surrounding area . I had a very difficult time trying to find a certified electrician willing to come to my newly open apartment to install my light fixture. My apartment was making it very difficult because of the liability aspect but Malfettone Electric was able to send all the documents that was needed promptly . On top of that on the day of my appointment they realized a key piece was missing that was never sent from wayfair . Instead of canceling my appointment they went to home depot and was able to get the missing piece . They truly went above and beyond for me from the start to end. So if you’re thinking about booking , DO IT !

Ive called on their team to do electrical work for me over three times now and Im always pleased with their professionalism and quality of work. On the first time I needed a major overhaul done on our apartment ranging from the installation of additional lighting fixtures & fan units to TV mounting & power and even ethernet and fiber cabling runs. There hasnt been a request that Jason and his team couldnt meet.One of the most important things for me is communication. After calling around five contractors initially, Malfettone Electric were the only team to call me back to schedule a free on-site consultation. Since then theres no one else I would recommend in the Northern NJ area.Now during COVID its been even more difficult to arrange and schedule contractor work but Jasons team has always made me feel safe and have worked with me to get the job done at a fair price.
