Would like to share my experience with N.FL.concrete flooring. After my den was flooded in 2017 we knew we had to do something other than carpet. We had a concrete slab under the carpet. Had seen on some home shows about concrete staining so after some research contacted Marvin at N.Fl. He is a true artist. These are my floors 7 years later. The quality of the work speaks for itself. Dont hesitate to call him for your project.

I had part of my fenced in patio filled in with concrete and then the whole thing painted and sealed. I also added a drainage system with rocks recommended by the owner to make sure water flowed out of my patio properly.First, the crew came out and prepped and poured the concrete. They got concrete splatter all over the back of my shed and mailbox. Then the owner came out to complete the paint and seal. When he finished he told me someone would come out the next day to remove the cover/paint the drain to match, add the rocks and clean off the concrete splatter. The next day no one came by and no one contacted me. I called the business and left message and emailed. I still have no received a response.The paint and seal look nice, but it isn’t finished. Maybe I shouldn’t have paid in full before the job was completed and that’s on me. But I am very unhappy with their lack of communication and professionalism.Update: After posting this review, the owner contacted me through text. It was not the most professional exchange I must admit. But he did have his crew come out before end of day to finalize my project and clean off the splattered concrete. I do appreciate this and I think the overall work was done well and I am happy with that. I hope that in the future, this company attempts to communicate better with their clients and set reasonable expectations of work completion.

We hired N.FL. Concrete and Stain to complete a our driveway and basketball court and couldnt be happier with the outcome. This was a fairly sizeable project, requiring the removal of about 2500 sqft of pavers and pouring close to 80 cubic yards of concrete. Every step of the way I felt fully taken care of (before and after pictures below).The most impressive part about the job was the artistry involved in the stamping and staining of our circle driveway. We gave Marvin examples of what we were looking for, and he took it from there. He selected colors that PERFECTLY matched, and stained enough of the driveway to accent and not take away from our home. I was thoroughly pleased with the job that him and his team did. His passion for concrete and staining was evident and shows in the finished product.The job did take a little longer that estimated (took about a week longer than originally quoted). But after considering the size of the job, weather (we lost a few days because of rain), and the work over/through the holidays, the delay was understandable.I highly recommend N.FL. Concrete and Stain and plan to use them again for another concrete project in the future.

We hired N.FL.Concrete to apply the Simiron Epoxy to bare concrete floors on a 1961 ranch home. I met Marvin (owner) at the home for an estimate. He measured the rooms and gave me a ballpark estimate based on the square footage. I did not receive this estimate in writing. He encouraged us to add the kitchen floors since the bucket of epoxy covers 1,000 sq feet and the areas we wanted only totaled 450 sq feet. He said the rest would basically go to waste, so we added another 300 square feet the job. He verbally gave me the price for the labor and top coat for the added space. The gal who works in his office called and set up a time for them to start the job. They were able to work us in the schedule in between 2 commercial jobs which was great. The crew was late on day 1 but she called and said they were picking up supplies and would be there. They were on schedule the rest of the week. The gentleman who sanded the floors was super professional, polite, and very neat. He is an asset to the company. When it came time to apply the epoxy, the owner scheduled it on a Sunday which worked fine for us. My daughter-in-law waited all day for him to arrive, but he never came or called. This is the one and only complaint we have with this company. There is not very much communication if an appt is missed or if the crew will be late. I do feel that the owner is very busy, his phone rings constantly. It is difficult to keep a good crew of workers these days so I am sure his projects get pushed back which messes up his schedule. I shared with him that if he communicates this immediately with a customer, they will understand. If there is no communication with a customer and no one shows up, they will become frustrated and upset. Anyway - the floors were complete and looked great with the exception of a few rough spots on the kitchen floor. We called Marvin back and he came right away and sanded them, put a new coat of finish on the top. As they dried, we noticed they were a different finish and color than the other floors. I took pictures and emailed them to Marvin. He said the paint store gave him the wrong finish. He applied matte/satin instead of gloss. He did explain that all finishes have a milk color so you cant tell the sheen until it is dry. I actually called the paint store to confirm this and they admitted that the worker labeled the bucket wrong. He gave him satin instead of gloss. Marvin came back this week and sanded off the top layer of finish, smoothed out the bumps of concrete along edges and reapplied the gloss finish. The floors looks amazing! We are all very satisfied with the final result. In the end, Marvin and his team worked hard to make us happy. They came back and fixed the few issues we had and made things right. I believe Marvin keeps his word and will do anything to make his customers happy.

Marvin and his professional crew helped me out of a very difficult situation. I am the Locations Manager for a feature film that was made locally in the low country. During the process of filming our crew managed to do some damage to the polished concrete in the filming house. I called Marvin and explained our situation and he sprang into action to help us out! He dropped what he was doing and came out the very next day to repair the damage we had incurred. He was professional and gave us a great quote, but most of all he did wonderful work. Marvin and his crew installed a stained and flagstone stamped patio for us around our fire pit, along with a 2 car parking area off the drive. They did a great job. They picked up after themselves each day; leaving no trash behind, like all the other contractors that have completed work for us. Marvin and his crew were very courteous, and dedicated at completing the tasks at hand. He provided a detailed scope of work, and outlined the cost for each item. The price was right were we wanted it to be. We plan to use his company for a couple more projects at our home, and recommend giving him an opportunity to complete your project.

I went with a blended brown marble expoxy on my 3 car garage floor and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED.Marvin and his team was extremely professional , had competitive pricing and above all...the art that he created for the floor was absolutely exceptional. This was a 3 day project and he made sure that the job was to his high standards and that I was pleased with what he created.Everyone that enters the garage touches the floor first to make sure it’s dry lol. The shine is so that it looks wet. Marvin at North Florida Concrete is extremely knowledgeable - and artistic - when it comes to staining and creating patterns on concrete floors. He and his assistant converted a plain white concrete porch floor and a walkway into grey patterned floors that look exactly like slate or bluestone floors. We have asked every visitor to our house since Marvin did the work almost three years ago what material they thought we had used on these surfaces. They have all responded: “slate.” During the two+ years that Marvin’s stained pattern has been on these surfaces, delivery people and others have occasionally scratched or chipped the stain. Marvin has returned promptly every time to repair the damage. Meanwhile, the stain has weathered beautifully. Staining the floors to look (exactly) like slate saved us thousands of dollars on our house remodel. And we have been equally pleased by Marvin’s diligence and integrity. He has our highest recommendation.

AWESOME! If you are looking for professionals that will provide you with the best looking concrete floor that you have ever seen, these are your guys. I hired this company for my business in Jax Beach and almost every client that has come in has noticed the floor and commented on how much they like it. After careful and diligent thought process into what type of flooring to put in my new house, I decided the most durable and economic flooring would be staining the floors. I have 2 big dogs and the house was covered in carpet which would not work for long. I found marvin online and after going through the process cant say anything negative at all about not only the product but the crew. Marvin was amazing in taking a blank canvas and just doing what he does. The end result blew away my expectations. I must say that the floors look wonderful, there is no doubt about that! The issues that arose were more logistical (project took longer than expected due to weather and underestimating the scope) and an unfortunate accident involving one of the workers trucks and our parked SUV. Marvin did make up for the accident by covering all the costs of repairs at a dealer certified bodyshop. Marvin and his crew are dedicated and worked tirelessly on this project (which is a residential property with about 4500 sq ft. of polished concrete). They even worked on Thanksgiving Day. The crew came in and worked hard to get back down to the original poured concrete after I had removed the old tile in the weeks before his crew arrived. The only other thing was a few of the transitions between the original slate floor in the entryway were not super clean so I had to do a bit of work to help those areas as well as reinstalling floor vents for the HVAC. Regardless of all the hiccups, the floors, deck, carport, garage, and parking pad look exactly the way I wanted them. The process with such work is always stressful but this did come in at the projected costs and I’m very happy with the floors. If you’re like me, with a tight budget and ambitious goals and don’t mind a bit of cleanup work, then this is the way to go. This would have been $3-5k more with other companies and I’m sure would have encountered some of the similar issues. They did stain and seal some areas that weren’t originally quouted as well without additional charges. This was a small lip transition from the interior to the exterior.

Marvin is the best! He literally came in and saved the day for us after we made the mistake of working with another company. The examples our previous contractor did on our floors were atrocious and they completely wrecked the floor when trying to prepare it. Marvin came in and gave the floor new life and then stained it exactly how we wanted it. We went for a natural look and we got it! I cannot recommend him enough. Do your research because there are a lot of people who talk the talk, but cant do the job.... but Marvin and his guys can! His whole team works hard to have things done the right way!
