The Qmerit service was excellent. I received an invitation within a couple of days of purchasing the CADILLAC LYRIQ. The link took me to a home survey. On the same day I filled out the survey, I was assigned a contractor in my area. I reached out to the contractor via phone with a few minor questions which they easily answered. My installation was scheduled for the following morning.The contractor arrived early within the promised window and within 2 hours had completed and tested a professional install. All of this happened within 24 hours of my completing the survey.I was impressed with the Qmerit installers. Installing EV charging systems is all they do. They were fast, effective, knowledgeable and very personable throughout the process.

Qmerit made my EV Charger installation EZ. Much of the prelim was done remotely in a self service fashion. This consisted of me taking photos and videos of my home, garage, and breaker box. I was contacted by a certified electrician, Castle Electric, and they sent out a two person crew to verify the photos and videos I took, and provide me with some alternative solutions which saved both time and money. The scheduling was easy, and quick. My EVIQO charger arrived three days before the appointment and the Castle Electric crew arrived on time and completed the beautiful install in a very efficient manner. They stayed while I confirmed all was working and connected as well. Castle Electric is a good partner of QMERIT and QMERIT made this process easy for me.

Qmerit was tasked by Cadillac/GM to install my home charger for my EV. The process was remarkable. When I accepted the offer for the installation, I received emails regarding the installation process and the name of the technician doing the work. He came to my home on a Thursday, performed the site survey, and it just so happened that I received my charger from Georgia Power the day before. He absolutely loved the charger and related my purchase against others as to being one of the best. After the survey, I received a quote from Qmerit promptly. The installation was done four days later on Monday. He also installed a whole home surge protector explaining to me that homes being built now have that type of protection in which the device basically falls on the sword protecting the whole house from surge damage. Awesome! He even waited for me to connect my charger to my home Wi-Fi and called customer service because it gave problems connecting. I connected it to my phones hotspot, it got its update, and later on it connected to my home network instantly with no issues. Awesome service, and great experience.

I am quite satisfied with my decision to go through Qmerit to have my EV Charger installed. Qmerit’s process of selecting an installer and online tracking of the project status was extremely smooth. They chose Dutch Creek Electric as the installer and communication between the electrician they chose was noteworthy. I had a number of questions about my EV Charger installation because I was aware that I would also need to upgrade my electrical panel. All of my (many) questions were answered and the quote was competitive, and lower than quotes I got from other electricians prior to going through Qmerit. My electrical panel upgrade and EV Charger installation were scheduled and completed in a couple of weeks. Both Chris, the Master Electrician, and Paul were very cordial, professional, and efficient. I was especially impressed with Chris who was highly skilled, and very receptive to answering further questions I had during the installation. Both electricians worked well together, and they quickly and professionally completed my electrical panel upgrade and EV Charger installation. I recently purchased a Tesla 3 and wanted to get a L2 charger for my garage to charge at home. SRP gives a rebate for chargers and also has a link to Qmerit to arrange installation. The process went smoothly with great communication at every step of the way. I didnt know at the time that this project would require submitting plans to the city of Phoenix and getting an approval first. The electrician that Qmerit assigned (Black Platinum Solar) took care of all of that before doing the installation and arranging an inspection. From my standpoint, it was easy because Qmerit ensured that all the necessary steps were handled. I highly recommend them if you have a similar project.

Was very happy with the install, but lets not pretend Qmerit actually did anything. Sure, they have certifications that contractors must complete. But the thing is, my installer was also certified by Tesla, so really Im not sure that what Qmerit provides to the contractor and myself is all that useful. After submitting all my info, I got the quote. However, there was no contact. No attempt was made to contact me, ask questions, see if I was interested, see if I had questions, etc. On one hand maybe this is good because theyre not annoying? On the other hand, they might be able to push more sales by reaching out. Im not sure. I certainly expected someone to reach out but they never did. Regardless, Im happy they sponsor YouTube videos dedicated to charging.

Very easy to go through the online process with QMerit. The only issue I had was when QMerit apps asked for the picture of the electrical panel. It requires the picture to be certain feet away. But it fails to consider sometime it is simply not possible to meet the requirement. I took the picture as best I could and upload to the website, it was rejected the picture. I had to contact support and attach the picture to the email to the support team. Once that was resolved, everything was smooth sailing.

The total time between starting the process and having a technician installing the equipment was just a few days.The technician arrived early in the time window and was very polite and professional. We had a quick chat about the installation and he went right into it. I did have an oddball EVSE (charger) from BMW that required DIP switch settings that he wasnt aware of. The process felt very seamless and easy from my end.My best recommendation to others using QMerit would be to do your research on charging levels, hardwired vs outlet, amperage, and whether your panel has enough space for what you want. Some education early in the process makes everything much smoother and helps avoid nasty surprises.My install was 100% covered, and the local company I worked with was fantastic (we’ll probably hire them back for more work at our house). Im in Minnesota - Qmerit is in California.I recently purchased a bolt 2 - Qmerit (through Chevrolet) was responsible for finding an electrician / installer for the garage 220 outlet.Aside from the installation of the outlet - I wasnt sure which charger to purchase, I asked the Qmerit representative (Diana) if they could recommend a charger. The Qmerit representative (Diana) advised me on which charger to choose and to make sure I had the charger on hand for when the electrician/installer arrived...Qmerit (Diana) also connected me with a GREAT electrician (that called me) that was able to do the installation within the next two weeks. The Electrician wasnt creepy... I felt 100% safe... and would hire this company for future business when needed. The outlet/car charger installation was performed by a certified/licensed Electrician, and the City Inspector inspected and approved the installation the next day...This was one of the easiest / best experiences Ive ever had. Thankfully, I was wrong. My Chevy dealer sent me the Qmerit paperwork before I drove off the lot. Once I completed the Qmerit questionnaire, a reputable Electrician contacted me and within 48 hours, was at my house to take a look. I got a quote from them within one day. After reviewing the quote, I contacted Qmerit to dispute the custom/standard installation label for my home. After explaining everything to the Qmerit representative, my bid was changed and no out of pocket money was required. I couldnt have asked for anything more. Great work!

My experience with Qmerit and its local installer in Scottsdale, AZ was very positive. When I ran into programming problems with my app, the installer (Matt Ramirez) was there and helped with programming and getting me set up properly.My only comment: our local electric utility gives a $250 rebate to encourage installation of a Level 2 charger. Unfortunately, they have a specific list of Level 2 models that qualify, all sold by Qmerit. I have a Cadillac Lyriq and purchased my charger from Cadillac. It is not on the approved list of chargers from my local utility. I have asked for a rebate and that is being considered by the utility.ADDENDUM: I have now been advised by the local electric company SRP (Salt River Project) that my request for the $250 rebate for installing an at home charger has been granted, and that the Cadillac-branded Ultium Level 2 charger has been added to their approved list.

Fantastic!!! I was introduced to Qmerit through my companies fleet department. I was assigned a concierge to guide me through and manage the install of my ChargePoint home flex charger. Madison R. Was my concierge member and was beyond excellent. When I couldn’t reach her by phone She always returned my calls and email quickly . The coordination with a certified installer was seamless,and the installer was professional and flexible with my schedule and needs. The limiting factor to the whole process was my companies fleet department . Madison was diligent to keep the pressure on them to get my charger and install finished as soon as possible. Because my company didn’t have Tesla as an option I am driving the Tesla wannabe the Volvo XC40 Recharge. The ChargePoint charger is a breeze to use and coordinates well with the ChargePoint App. Thanks Madison and Qmerit!
