We absolutely love the heat pumps that we had Hydes install. They are incredible for our house and so massively quiet (even outside, when standing by the unit, you cant hear them). We dont feel air moving inside the house (on the outside, the only indication the unit is on is that you can feel the air moving). Our home environment is always just the right temperature. Love the intelligent thermostats and the ability to be able to control when we are out of town.For our annual checkup/ Service appointment - The technician arrived within the appointed time frame. He was friendly, confirms the agreement, and then explains everything he is going to do. He was quiet and courteous in the house and wore booties. He efficiently cruised through the various tasks he needed to complete inside and out. After the visit, he summarized what he found and what he did.

Luis and his partner were knowledgeable of the product, professional and quick in the installation. Also, they didnt mind that I watched and occasionally asked questions. They did a great job!!Thor, a Hydes tech, was also very knowledgeable and understood that I wanted the blower speed reduced to be comfortable for me. He had a very nice demeanor. Hydes seems to have employees with great attitudes!

Good Team Great LeaderReplacing an HVAC system was not in my plan this year. Barry and his team diagnosed my issues and educated me thoroughly while providing me with different options and price points. Through the entire process Barry was available to immediately answer questions and guide the team. I really appreciate his empathy and accommodation of my schedule. Ok, Im different than most - I like to write a review after I have settled in with a product or service, which I think gives a more balanced, trustworthy, and valuable review.I enjoyed the Hydes experience from the beginning, and I still enjoy them and the American Standard variable speed heat pump HVAC system.Hydes is old school in the best possible terms....they answer the phone, they schedule service and show up, and are cheerful and seem to be a happy group, which is nice to see. They are like a family, and they treat me like family as well. It feels welcoming and real, not fake or grandstanding in any way.I have been more comfortable this past summer with my new system, and I have saved money since I had an old A/C unit that was 24 years old! It would not die, it was a loyal system, but it was just too inefficient with electric prices being what they are here in CA.Bottom line, I found this company, and I was glad I did, and I certainly recommend them to others!

Jonathan was at our place late on Friday in a heatwave on the last call of the day and week. He researched our Bryant equipment malfunction and performed multiple diagnostic tests in 110 degree heat, then told us that we should get the manufacturer to recommend a local specialist to perform the warranty repairs. Thats what I call a trusted partner--not just a vendor. Love being part of The Hydes family!!!

I am very impressed with this company. Heres what I know for sure: its family owned, they care about their customers, their staff are all very well trained and professional, they do what they say theyre going to do, they stand behind their work, they answer the phone, they are good communicators. We had a bit of an emergency when our A/C unit went out last Saturday. A tech came to the house on Sunday and determined our compressor was completely shot. After a very thoughtful conversation with Jonathan where he explained all of our options, we decided to move forward with a new system. In less than 24 hours, a crew was at our house Monday morning installing it. It went very smooth and we had a cool house by sundown. Thank you all for turning what could have been a nightmare into an amazing experience. The new American Standard Platinum 18 is the way to go, its so quiet we can barely even tell its on. I have learned that many of my neighbors in Sun City Shadow Hills have had a similar experience. I highly recommend Hydes!!

Amador did a great job of analyzing the problem with my A/C unit not cooling. He replaced two fuses that had blown, and explained that they had blown due to my A/C unit overheating because it is an old unit and not operating efficiently. Amador also told me that my present unit was on its last leg, and could possibly stop working again very soon. He highly recommended my getting a new unit (compressor and evaporator), which I am having done today.Amador was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. He explained everything thoroughly and clearly, and it was a great experience having him come out to my house and taking care of my air conditioning problem. I very highly recommend both Amador and Hydes Air Conditioning to anyone who has A/C issues -- they will take care of you!In addition to Amador doing a great job the other day when he came out to service my A/C, today Jesus and Joshua did an outstanding job of installing my new A/C unit (compressor and evaporator). They showed up on time, and did the installation in less than the 4 hours they originally told me it would take. They were all done in a little less than 3 hours, and I was pleasantly surprised. Great job, Joshua and Jesus -- thank you very much! I highly recommend them as well as Amador, and thank you Hydes for taking great care of my A/C needs-- you are the best!

Needed to replace entire HVAC system. 20+ years old. Excellent customer service. Generally go with one less than top of the line. This was one exception. All 3 options/cost thoroughly explained. Having lived in the desert all my life always choose the best HVAC system as this is a long term investment. Jose, Luis, Adrian, and Johnny arrived promptly at 9 and replaced two compressors, two air handlers, and two coils in under 5 hours. Big job in a hot attic. Thanks for the excellent service.

Every interaction was the gold standard of customer service. From quick estimates provided, the same questions patiently answered several times, the follow up, the timeliness, ease of scheduling the install, the efficient install day and follow up visit to pay w/Thor installing the hard start …it all went very, very smoothly. We really have been fans of Hydes from our original unit maintenance to replacing that unit to now installing another new unit at our rental property. We couldn’t be happier. Ive been on a semi-annual service plan with Hydes over the last 2 years and have been very happy. Its a well-established family-run business and everyone from the customer service center to the HVAC technicians (that includes family members) are extremely professional and friendly. I havent experienced any upselling and they are very knowledgeable. When I purchased my home the home inspector informed me the AC installation by the prior owner (and not by Hydes) had been done on the cheap and it was missing some parts that would help prevent future leaks into my ceiling. I never mentioned that to Hydes but they also pointed it out at my first service tune-up. Ive found them to be trustworthy and reasonably priced, and have great confidence in this business. Brayan was the last technician sent for my summer checkup and he was very thorough and pleasant. Hydes has a terrific reputation in the Coachella Valley and I highly recommend them. I also recommend getting on a service plan, its affordable and offers discounts if repairs are needed.

100% totally recommend Hydes AC! Frank was such a pleasure to deal with during such a stressful time! Our AC stopped working during the first heat wave this summer when it hit 106, we have a senior citizen, 2 dogs, and a newborn baby in the house. We contacted 2 other HVAC companies before finding Hydes since we were in such a hurry to get the AC back on. The other companies told us we needed to replace our entire HVAC system and charge $14k+, another company couldnt even make it out for several days (we couldnt even stay inside the house it was so hot) Hydes was able to come out NEXT DAY! Not only were they fast coming out, they were so easy to communicate with and especially giving updates on arrival time. Frank was polite, kind, professional, compassionate, and honest! He told us the part that needed replaced, saving us thousands $$$ - and he was able to get the part and have it fixed the following day after the service call! (Other companies wanted to charge a fee to expedite service) All in all, Hydes just felt like a company that cared, they werent trying to screw us over, take advantage of our situation or make the most money they could, they were just doing their job, the best way possible - which isnt easy to find these days. Thank you Frank and the Hydes AC team, we are very grateful for your service & will definitely be calling again!!

During the electrical check he noted that the starting capacitor was reading below specification and was weak. he recommended replacing it, explaining that it might last through the summer but also might not. I said to replace it now. He checked temperature and airflow and all looked good. The system is now 16 years old and would probably need replacing in the near future. I have used Hydes for years and they have always been responsive, interactive and thorough. I could not expect better service.

James the a/c tech was on time and very professional, responded patiently and detailed to all our questions. Rates are fair going price for the service provided. Highly recommend this company
