We have had great experiences with Robies. Most recently, they replaced two ductless split AC units in our home. It was a big job and it involved both installation work and electrical work. Even though we called them in the heat of summer, when they are incredibly busy, they were relatively prompt in visiting our home to assess our needs. They were also prompt in in sending an estimate for the job and in scheduling the work. The installers and electricians who completed the work were terrific. Good people who were obviously skilled in their work. They arrived on time, did an excellent job in putting the units in place, handled the electrical issues without a glitch, and were very helpful in explaining everything to us. We greatly appreciated their professionalism and sterling service. And the price they charged was in line with others that we have received. An easy 5 stars.

Robies Heating and Cooling is a superb organization. I have been fortunate to have Robies install our Mini Split system. The staff goes the extra mile. Easy to work with, timely, met all of our expectations. They believe in service and satisfaction of the customer. David, the lead Technician did a walk through of the project before the work began so I had a thorough understanding of placement of units and he even accommodated a change in location that required more work for the crew. What I found impressive is the organization is mentoring a new generation of professionals who are being mentored by journeyman. All of the workers and office staff are enthusiastic, motivated, professional and helpful, especially when problems arise.Robies is also very philanthropic in service to the community, the President and CEO Stephen Robichaud truly went the extra mile for the Lily House, a non-profit Hospice House in Wellfleet, MA. His staff removed all the duct work from the house along with insulation and truly worked with us on the costs of the units and a emergency generator. Most importantly they return phone calls . I can recommend Robies without any reservations.

I needed to replace my older HVAC system at my house and got three bids from HVAC companies. I choose Robies not because they were the cheapest, they were in the middle, but because they tailored my existing system for the appropriate heat pump and gas furnace. The installation took two days. The work crew did a great job connecting the new equipment to the existing ductwork and left the jobsite clean. They did a follow up checkup to ensure coolant levels and control panel settings. The office staff was outstanding, especially Veronica, who helped with the various rebates and contacts for MassSave. I highly recommend Robies.

We own an antique home along Captain’s Mile on Route 6A in Yarmouthport. When we contracted with Robies for a new AC system we worked hard to minimize the exterior slim duct, but understood this was part of the system. When lead installer Dave arrived at our house, he (to our amazement) was able to eliminate all the exterior slim duct by ingeniously running it parralel to our chimney down the center of the house from the attic to the basement! We are so appreciative of his ingenuity and attention to detail. From Dana providing a detailed and professional quote and answering our many questions, to Dave and his team installing the equipment and commissioning it all, we could not be more pleased! We recently had mini split A/C units installed and we could not be happier! Honestly, we were treated with first class service. Steve Robichaud was professional and patient with us, explaining all of our options and made solid recommendations based on value. He didn’t try to up-sell us and he managed to get us impressive rebates too! The install team was friendly and prompt and never left a mess. After the install was complete and the units were wired, Jeff from the service team came out and explained all of the features, how to best use the units and also inspected everything to make sure we were good to go. Our house has never been so cool and dry - we are thrilled! We highly recommend Robies!

Spectacular I had a Rinnai tankless installed. When they arrived the first thing they did was cover the floor with tarp for protection. The system was installed in one day . Gas hooked up at 8am the next day. All I can say is that I am totally satisfied with their expertise and professionalism. They truly are a team you want to work with.

I recently had Robies install several Mitsubishi Hyperheat pumps. I couldnt be happier with the entire project or products. Cameron speced the project & gave us options. He was responsive & honest about timelines. Dave, who installed the system, was literally one of the best service people Ive encountered: Knowledgeable, personable, professional, & incredibly hardworking. Im planning to add a 2nd floor addition, & the system they installed is set up to accommodate it. Highly recommend!Update: Had a rattling sound on the compressor & a tech came out - sorry, dont remember his name - tightened some screws & fixed the rattle & also checked over the whole system. He mentioned that when he was in the downstairs bathroom, he heard a leak in the toilet. Sure enough, unbeknownst to us, the toilet had been running, probably for a long time. Talk about going above & beyond! I love this company - great employees!

I needed to hire an HVAC company to convert my heating system from oil to gas and with all of the choices out there I went with Robies. From estimate to completion the project was seamless. Their techs are expert in installing Lochinvar boilers, and the work shows. I’ve had problem free, highly efficient heat since the install. No mess was left behind, permitting/inspections were handled by them, and the process was easy. I recommend giving Robies a call if you need a heating system or any of their other specialties.

I recently purchased two min-splits from Robies. After their installation Robies sent an expert to meet with me at my convenience to go over how the min-splits work so I could use them to their maximum value. They also let me know that I was eligible for a substantial rebate and then they took the lead in ensuring that I received rebate. They gathered the necessary information, completed and submitted the application, ensured the correct person’s name was on the check because the name differed from the the account holder name, and made sure that communications among all parties was clear and timely. My mini-splits are working great and I have received my rebate. Robies is always a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them for any HVAC needs. They are the best!!!!

Our experience with Robies was incredible!! We have an older home and decided to have central air conditioning installed by Robies (after interviewing several Heating and Cooling companies). We were a bit concerned because our heating system is by forced hot water, which meant that air vents and returns would need to be installed in every room. Mike from Robies did the bulk of the work and he was amazing. Im pretty sure each room was cleaner after he cut the vents in than before he started his work. We expected a little mess, but there was nothing!! Mike arrived every day exactly when he said he would be here, went right to work and was so quiet that we werent sure when he left each day. All the insulated duct work in the basement was also installed by Mike. Again, he left the basement thoroughly clean at the end of each day. The group from Robies who installed the outside unit was also very thorough and professional. In conclusion, after only one week, we are now enjoying our new central air system and we couldnt be happier. Thanks Robies for a job well done!!Marcus & Susan Buckley

I cannot begin to say how very impressed I am with Robies. I interviewed about 5 companies for a new HVAC system. I choose Robies. Their price was reasonable. Their representative, Steve Robichard was prompt( how unusual is that????)helpful, extremely informative, patient (I had tons of questions) and kind. The guys who installed my system were the same and left my house immaculate. They all made the process so easy. My system also included a programmable thermostat that I was having trouble understanding. Steve came out twice to show me how to work it.I also signed with them to maintain my system as well as my generator. I am so very happy I choose Robies.. I arrived home from work and noticed my home was cooler than expected. Thermostat was set at 67 but the house was 60. I looked at the furnace and heard the signal reach the blower, but nothing happened. Knowing what the forecast was like, I immediately looked for an HVAC contractor. Robies ad stood out, so I called them. What a stroke of good luck! The technician correctly advised me that my very old furnace needed to be replaced, but Id be fine overnight. He promised a call in the morning, and I got one. A very knowledgeable salesman (Bob) showed up and went over my options. Knowing I couldnt replace the furnace the same day, he offered to bring the guts of my old system back to his shop and try to patch it up enough to get me through the blizzard forecasted for the same day and the frigid temperatures to follow! His technician was back within a couple of hours with the re-worked guts of my old system. They hooked it up and VIOLA I had heat!By the way, the estimate for the new system was $1,000 less than an estimate I got last year from another company! I am happy to endorse Robies Heating and cooling!

Robies is always a reliable choice but recently, their service and install times are pretty far out in the future so Ive had to go elsewhere for a dripping pipe this summer and then again for an emergency furnace replacement in the Fall 22. I guess that means things are going good for them since they are fully booked.
