Andre and his team did an amazing job on our new deck! Andre was easy to work with through the entire process, always responded to texts/calls, and offered competitive pricing. Our new deck is now double the size of our old one and made of trex material. We also decided to add lattice around the bottom of the deck to hide the foundation. The deck was completed quickly and the team was very detail oriented as all the cuts/finishes are well done and consistent. We couldn’t be happier!

We hired AK General Services to finish our basement room. They completed everything in a timely manner and were very good about communicating and ensuring that we got what we wanted, including installing new electrical outlets and recessed lighting. We had a great overall experience with them and Andre was very nice to work with. Our family recently purchased a 1900 built multi-family in central Mass. Due to some neglect on the part of the former owner, the two story porch in the front of the house had fallen into disrepair. We searched online and found AK General Services. Andre and the team built us a beautiful, sturdy, natural wood structure that provides everything we could ask. The team was punctual, courteous, efficient, highly skilled, and completed the project on time and at a very fair price. Thanks Andre! We will enjoy these porches for years to come.

I highly recommend the services of AK General Services! They respond immediately when contacted, provide ultimate quality, and most important their goal is to exceed expectations. We had a house we needed to sell immediately and the exterior porch was extremely weathered and not safe. We were under a tight time crunch to get the house listed. AK General Services understood the sense of urgency, immediately provided a quote, and the next day they got to work. They were finished in 2 days, and they provided a transformed new and solid porch. I have used many contractors in the past 25 years, and AK General Services is beyond quality, communicate effectively, and their customer service is outstanding! Andre was very responsive, professional, and I highly recommend his services! He has great communication skills where he gave his honest opinions and explained everything he would be doing in detail. He was able to come out and provide a quote within a few days of initial inquiry and completed excellent quality work a few days after that. Andre and his team replaced a deck post, fixed a loose deck step, reinforced the stairs, and built a lattice panel for us. I am willing to hire AK General Services for future projects and highly recommend them to anyone!

I needed to have the floor of my deck re-done. The boards had been there for about 20 years and they were getting soft. I got three bids from contractors, and decided to go with Andre. Im so glad I did. He and his team were polite, professional and very helpful. They replaced the steps, (which was not in the quote). I live alone and once the job was completed, they put all the furniture back for me. I would highly recommend AK General Services to anyone looking to have work done. I will be calling them again in the Spring to replace the lattice work.

We hired AK to replace our wood deck and railings with a composite deck. We had bids from two other companies but AK had the clearest vision of how we could improve our property. Andre and his crew performed the work and we were delighted with the results. While he was here, we asked him to do two other jobs: install a railing on another entry step and fix a window which was letting in too much air. He and his crew did both! I would hire AK General Services again without hesitation!

We recently had a large free standing deck built by AK General Services. We can’t say enough good things about the job that Andre and his team did. They worked with us to turn our idea into a workable design, provided an accurate estimate and laid out a detailed timeline for project completion that they stuck to. Along the way Andre explained each step of the process, incorporated our feedback and the team took great care of our backyard cleaning up the work site each day before leaving. In the end, AK General Services delivered the exact deck we were looking for on time and on budget and we couldn’t be happier.

I consulted and obtained estimates from about 4-5 other contractors for replacement and new construction of a new small porch.Andre Kuhn (AK Consulting) and his crew were outstanding in every way:Honest, friendly, prompt, hard working, efficient, highly professional, good communicators. Good, fair price. They dealt with town building permit process. Everything was built to code. Outstanding final product. Great clean up. I highly recommend them and for next job would use them again for next job. Once started, porch was completed in less than 2 days, which included tear down, concrete work, and construction carpentry.
