    WOW these guys are amazing! I had a big job to attempt- adding a bathroom and a half to an old 1940 house. It required a lot of hard work and creativity, and OH MAN did this team deliver! The results were on budget, great quality, and absolutely beautiful. Their team was awesome to work with- easy to get a hold of, thoughtful and responsive, and they went way above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of beautifully. You can tell that they take pride in their work. Ill absolutely be calling them again for my future projects.

    In an emergency situation, they were able to come straight out to my house, despite having a fully booked day on their schedule. I was so thankful that they were able to come fix our water leak in a timely manner. Jesus did great work and was super knowledgeable, even taking the time to educate myself on what went wrong, as well as how to prevent leaks/check for water damage in the future.     During a recent horrible storm we had a pipe burst at one of our rental units. Chinook immediately got back with me worked with the tenant and the city to get the water off, the pipe fixed, and the water back on. They were informative and great to work with. I have used them for non-emergency work as well and always been pleased. The tenant said they were respectful and careful. Everyone is grateful.

    Jesse was super professional and knowledgeable regarding the leak we had in our shower. He was available the next day, communicated well about his arrival time, so we didnt need to wait around all day.He wore a mask in our home despite being vaccinated which was much appreciated and even took his shoes off in the house!Jesse also had the specific delta valve we needed replaced in his van, so we didnt have to wait for one to be ordered. I would recommend Chinook Plumbing to anyone who is looking for a plumber and will call them again in the future.

    Called Chinook Plumbing for a kitchen sink backup. They scheduled me for the following day. I received a call the same day asking if I was available since the tech had an opening. The tech found the problem and had to run a snake multiple times to clear the clog. He then recommended how to maintain a clean line. The cost seemed very reasonable. Excellent service all around!

    Weve used Chinook several times since moving to Hood River for various plumbing needs. Jessie and his crew have always been professional in terms of the quality of their work, timeliness, etc. I also really appreciate that Jessie takes the time to explain what the problem is and lays out options: Ive never felt pressured to take any particular course of action with the work weve needed. Good service pros are rare - Id recommend Chinook for anyone in the HR area needing plumbing work

    We had a great experience with Chinook Plumbing. They were able to come out same day and when Jesse arrived, he immediately knew what the problem was. He was efficient, effective and gave us an option do some of the more time consuming, but not technical, aspects of the project ourselves to save money. Highly recommend!

    Jessie the owner from Chinook plumbing came to our house to help with a few issues we were having regarding installation of a new toilet. When we called an office person answered the phone who said they would return my call within an hour. So much more reassuring than leaving a message. Jessie and his assistant were extremely fast, efficient, and courteous. Everything was fixed within a few hours after calling for help. I would definitely recommend Chinook plumbing!

    Jessie put in the plumbing and set the fixtures in our master bath remodel and most recently, he came out and fixed two gas leaks in our kitchen. He is very professional and thorough. Chinook is not the least expensive, but you get what you pay for. I trust their work and I know they stand by it. I recommend them.

    We called Chinook plumbing because our e/one sewage pump grinder alarm was going off. They arrived quickly and determined that the pump likely needed to be replaced and they found one several states away that was selling with a significant price increase. We were pretty stressed. The next morning they showed up to let us know that they found an authorized maintenance person out of Washington that was coming to Hood River that week. Long story short, they sacrificed a few hundred dollars in fees and that ended up saving us a few thousand dollars on the new e/one. We had also been looking to replace our water heater. Since Chinook treated us so good with this project, we immediately hired them to replace our 40 gallon water heater with an on-demand heater. They got everything done in a couple days. The crew was friendly and cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with the service we received from Chinook and would absolutely use them again.

    A while back I had a leaking issue with my domestic water supply where it enters my home. A large PEX tool and expertise were needed as soon as possible. I phoned Chinook and was routed to a plumber who, although he was working on another project, offered to stop by my house on his way back to the shop at the end of his work day. When he arrived, he had the tools, the parts and the experience to repair the leak. I was grateful that he added on to his work day to fix my water line. Fair pricing and excellent service. I recommend Chinook Plumbing, they are an asset to the Columbia River Gorge community.

    Third time is a charm.Before having Tito from Chinook Plumbing come to the rescue I had two other Plumbing companies try to unclog my pipe with no success and a bunch of money spent with no good outcome.Tito saved the day and got my pipe flowing once and for all.     My holding tank flooded onto my lawn this past Sunday. They came out first thing Monday morning and got it fixed. They were responsive- answered my call and scheduled an eval same day. They were communicative- kept in touch via text as I requested. They were professional- showed up when they said they would. I was shocked at how low the bill was! Thank you Chinook!

    Jesse has come to our house twice for two different issues we were having. First was out hot water heater and second was our radiant heat which we thought was not working properly. Not only was he extremely professional but he fixed our water heater and explained everything to me in such a way that I understood everything. Regarding the radiant heater for our floors, as it turns out there was nothing wrong but Jesse took the time to explain how it really works and how we should be managing our system, i.e. not keeping it on in shoulder months etc. This is help us perserve the equipment. We just built our house 2 1/2 years ago and had never had radiant heat so the time he spent explaining how to properly manage the system will be so helpful to us and will allow us to not have to change out our equipment because we were uneducated. Thank you so much Jesse, we were very impressed.

    Have used these folks before. Very knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Kept in communication with me to coordinate scheduling, as it took a bit due to crazy demand and my work schedule. Even took time during the repair to walk me through a reimbursement process, as we were going through a home warranty service. Above and beyond. Would absolutely recommend and use again.

    Chinook Plumbing was very professional and reliable in replacing a kitchen faucet and recirc pump. Both Mike and Tito made calls and were very conscientious, even placing cardboard on our kitchen hardwood floor. Mike noticed the recirc pump was installed incorrectly, and Tito observed that the Kohler faucet received per original warranty had broken parts before tearing our old faucet apart. Teri was also very supportive and understanding with scheduling when we ordered the faucet replacement parts. Up to now, weve used the plumbing company that did our original construction, but no more after discovering Chinook Plumbing in Hood River!

    I called Chinook Plumbing after finding 6 inches of water in the basement from a frozen pipe burst! Terrie was the one who answered my call and was very empathetic with my situation and talked me through the process. She sent a plumber out to the house same day despite the less than desirable weather we were having amongst all their other emergency calls. After approving their estimate, the job was done in a quick and efficient manner. Highly recommend and will be using them again in the future!

    We recently had a couple of different guys from the Chinook team (Mike and Kip) out to help us with the plumbing portion of our bathroom remodel. Jesse also came out to do the initial bid. The bid was competitive with other services in town. The whole team was very responsive in scheduling service and very timely and efficient with the work done. We also really appreciated everyone taking the time to explain what needed to be or was being done and why. We have absolutely no complaints about the quality of work that was done. If you are looking for someone to come and and just get the job done at a fair price Chinook is your team. Thanks guys!

    Chinook Plumbing came out to determine why our Grundfos water pump was making more noise than it should. They were great in being willing for us to send them an audio file electronically which they sent to the pump manufacturer. They used the information sent from the manufacturer and worked with us to problem solve some possibilities of why the only 2 year old pump became ruined.Jesse and Teri went the extra mile for us, pressing their distributor to honor our just expired warranty on the pump. We received a new pump and Jesse came out to install it and replace a water line from the water tank to the house. It wasnt an easy job. His work was professional, careful and he took the time to explain to us what he was doing and how to maintain our water system for the future. He was respectful of us and of our house as he kept everything clean. We are satisfied customers and would work with them again in the future.
