    Alexander Services responded quickly to my need for a plumber. The plumber arrived early and provided his estimate of price and work before any work started. My broken water shutoff valve was replaced. The plumber went above expectations when he seated the faucet spring and washer and replaced my sink handle. I was very happy with my experience with Alexander Services. I recommend them for plumbing needs.

    I have never had the pleasure of working with a better organization than Alexander’s heating and air conditioning. From the professionalism of the people that answered the phones to their technicians that come to your house.     Tim H. with Alexander Services did an amazing job for us this afternoon! He diagnosed the problem with our disposal and saved us a great deal of money in the process - since he determined we wouldn’t need a new one installed. He was warm, friendly, and he even took time to get to know our kids and dog. He also showed us a great trick for weekly maintenance in keeping our disposal clean and working more efficiently. We highly recommend Tim and Alexander Services!!

    Alexander Services was quick to respond to my request to have a gas leak repaired. They came at the top of the arrival window that was given to me and immediately went to work. Tim asked me what the problem was, made an assessment and after I agreed to the quote; went to work. Within 1 hour Tim and Ahmad completed the job. I am very happy with the work. They cleaned up everything and were on their way.

    Awesome people to do business with!! Update 7/15! What an Awesome company to help with the AC system! Get done fast, correct, and with a reasonable cost. Their technician John was an honest professional who made my wife and I feel comfortable with the diagnostic and repair.     Jordan came out today, 9/10/24, to perform our periodic service. He was on time, professional, and did an Outstanding job! As you can see from my other reviews, my wife and I are grateful to have such a reliable, honest, and professional HVAC company!Skylar came out 5-7-24 to perform our annual HVAC check and is the case with all of the service technicians, he did an Outstanding job! He was polite, professional, and clearly explained the corrective actions needed to during this visit. My wife and I have lived in Apex for 27 years and after some less than good experiences with other companies, were fortunate to have found and stayed with Alexander HVAC for many, many years!John came out to do our annual heating check on 10-6-23 and did an Exceptional job! As youll see from my other reviews, this is the normal experience with this outstanding company. John, like the other service technicians weve had experience with, was polite, professional, and clearly explained what he was going to do. This company is totally trustworthy and reliable. The front office staff are always friendly and ready to help!Another Outstanding experience! Dan Morganti came out yesterday, 4/4/23, to do our annual HVAC check. While all of the service technicians have been excellent, Dan is quite simply the BEST! He was very patient with my questions and clearly explained what he was doing or about to do. When he identified a part that needed replacing, he outlined all the options and cost. He also convinced me to upgrade our yearly maintenance plan of service. I hope he will stay with Alexander Heating and Air (hopefully they reward him accordingly).Sean and Cole came out today (4/22/22) to do the annual check of our HVAC system. They did a Superb job! Both were polite, professional, and kept me informed of their progress. The consistently great service by Alexander Heating and Air is just one of many reasons I became a contract customer!Derrick did an Outstanding job today (10-25-21) doing our annual heating check! He was polite, professional, and did a superb job clearing explaining what he did during the inspection!Cant say enough great things about this business! Last Wednesday, 10/18/17, Jeremy and Julius did a fantastic job installing a new gas regulator for our house. These folks are professional, thorough, and more importantly honest and upfront about any proposed repairs!Another outstanding experience with this business! Jeremy did an outstanding job getting our HVAC up and running on short notice. Christina was the total professional in setting up the appointment and handling my follow up questions.Jeffrey did an outstanding job doing our annual heat check; very professional and thorough! Really glad I went with this company last Spring after being with ARS for many years!Yet another outstanding experience with AH&AC today , 7/25/17! Sergio did a superb job in quickly analyzing and fixing the problem with our A/C. His professional demeanor can do attitude reflects what AH&AC are allo about - helping their customers! Christena provided an exceptionally fast and professional response in setting up someone to help us on very short notice. Totally awesome experience!John C. did an outstanding job fixing our A/C after our previous contract HVAC service (ARS) could not help us on a Sunday! John found out that the previous ARS tech (who had come out April 7th to do our annual cooling check) had not charged the system (when it needed it) and had recommended a costly repair that was not needed. I was an ARS customer for 17 years, but no more - I signed up with Alexander due in large part to the quality of work done by John and his honesty!

    I had an issue where my AC unit stopped working. I called Alexander Services Sunday morning as it was going to be an extremely hot day. They have 24/7 service and had a technician at my house that morning. Within three minutes, the technician knew exactly what the problem was. My capacitor had failed, and my AC unit would not turn on. My technician, John N, was very knowledgeable, friendly, personable, and professional. He had my AC working again in no time. He also went through a complete diagnostics check of my system to make sure everything was running properly, and it had enough Freon. I really appreciate John and Alexander services for their prompt response and service in fixing my AC problem. I’ve been using Alexander services for the past several years and they are by far the best company in wake county. They’re very honest and trustworthy and knowledgeable which are qualities other companies I’ve used in the past did not have. I highly recommend Alexander services for any HVAC issues.

    Called them for AC repair during an extremely hot period, figuring theyd be too busy to get by for days. Amanda the very pleasant customer service person returned my morning call promptly and set up an appointment with Skyler, the technician, for between 12:30 and noon the same day. He showed up on time and was extremely helpful and explained our units performance using a phone app. Did not try to upsell or push unnecessary costly repairs. Would definitely use them again!

    Had a huge scare right before the holidays on the day we were scheduled to leave. Our shower faucet got completely stuck and we were scared there was a water leak occurring somewhere in the house. I reached out to Alexander services around 9 AM and they had guys here fixing the issue within 3 hours! I was amazed by the speed of getting assistance and Hunter (who came to fix the problem) was super friendly and really quick in solving the solution. I also appreciated him explaining what went wrong and how he fixed it. Great service and helpful company, will definitely use them for all my plumbing and HVAC needs.

    I called Alexander Services, as they were listed as an Aquasana certified installer. The back office was polite and timely in getting a plumber out to inspect a whole house water filtration installation. Brad was amazing!! Not only did he provide a quote on-site, but was able to schedule the installation the next day!We just bought our house and are on a well and already had the water system, installed in a timely manner, cleaned as he went, provided details on every step of the installation and provided a full walk through of the entire system.I had quotes from other plumbing companies, which were much higher, almost 2k more and were many weeks to months out from being able to get on their calendars.Between Brad and the electrician (added a light and power outlet for UV filter in a crawl space), they had the job knocked out within a day!Greatly appreciated the professionalism, quick responsiveness, and knowledge Brad had to install the whole house water system!

    For my HVAC replacement, Alexander Services was honest and professional during the evaluation and estimating, friendly when getting the service scheduled, and the installation crew was knowledgable, professional, and respectful throughout the process. When there was an issue with the city inspection, they were honest with me about the situation and kept me informed as they arranged to come out and address the minor issue. I also really like the York system they installed; a good, reliable brand. This is a business that is proud of its work and treats its customers with friendly, professional service.

    I decided to try Alexander based on some positive local reviews for basic ac unit maintenance and clearing of a completely clogged condensate drain line. Im usually somewhat skeptical but I was satisfied with their work... Their tech took about 2 hours tracing the clog, cutting and clearing the lines, and patching it all back up successfully. Considering his effort prevented me from building a whole new drain line, as well as two thorough unit inspections and a slightly-less-than-expected bill, I had a positive experience with Alexander and will use them again. Recommended

    These people are AMAZING.I called Yellow Dot and they said they would try to fit me in today, but most likely it would be Monday before they could come out (it is now Friday and 84 degrees upstairs).... Later they called back and said it would be weeks before they would get to me. Another place I called said it was at least two week.My neighbor recommended Alexanders so I figured what the heck and call to see how long it would be for them. After a few minutes on hold, they said they moved some people around and would be at my home by 6PM TODAY. I was concerned about after hours service fees and they said their regular hours are until 9 PM.... I have never heard of that in my life!!!Darrick and Dave were fantastic and not only fixed my unit but educated me on the unit and the test equipment that they use.No one else but Alexanders will ever touch my AC / Heating unit.Great job guys

    I have been using Alexander Heating and Air since 2016. The staff is friendly on the phone. The technician that came out to my house for the annual service on my heating and air unit was very professional and very thorough.9/3/23:I would like emphasize again how terrific Alexander Sevices is. The technicians are very knowledgable and polite. The office staff could not be more helpful. I recently had an issue with an exhaust fan my contractor had installed as part of a bathroom remodel. I called Alexander Services to see if they could send someone out to verify that it was installed correctly. Not only did they send someone out to verify my new exhasut fan was working properly, but they didnt charge me for it. Ive had a service contract with them since 2016. I cant begin to tell you how comforting it is to know that you have a team like Alexander Services taking care of the important systems in your home.

He explained what the service today included and did explain that I may be needing a new unit if Freon needs added again ( was added 12 months ago also).     Alexander Heating and AC has seriously excellent customer service. I called at 11am and had my problem diagnosed and fixed by 3pm the same day. The technician David showed up ahead of estimated arrival time and originally I was told my part would be ordered and arrive and be installed the next day. About an hour after he left I got a call from the office saying that my part was on the way and could be installed before end of day. Same day service is often not possible, I was ecstatic that I got such good service and at a very affordable price. Thank you Alexander HVAC and plumbing.

    Update June 2021: I just had Alexander replace my upstairs AC and furnace. As has been my experience for years, they do quality work and have great people, The installers were skilled and professional and the office staff was great. The prices were very good and I like the York products10 year parts and labor warranty. I recommend using Alexander Services.Always a pleasant experience with Alexander. The technicians are professional and have NEVER tried to sell me anything like some other large local HVAC companies have done. Jordan was the technician this visit and he was super. I highly recommend Alexander.

    Dan from Alexander Services came to do my Annual tune-up last week. I joke that I have a love/hate relationship since I have a 16yr old Carrier unit but Dan was very thorough and gave my Systems a clean bill of health so hopefully they keep plugging along.     Ive used Alexander Heating for simple maintenance before, but used them this spring to replace my entire furnace and A/C system. Jeremy, Julius, and Omar had the job done in one day (this was a lot of work!), the install was really clean and they took care of things I wouldnt even think of; The AC unit outside was moved slightly to make the connection to the house better, all the exterior connections were wrapped, new thermostats put on, the attic furnace unit was installed cleanly (better than the original), new drain pan and shutoff, etc. Not a bit of damage to any trim or drywall, they even vacuumed up after. By 5PM you couldnt tell they had ever been here and two days later the town inspector signed off on it without issue.Very thankful for the professional service and Id definitely recommend them.

    Receptionists were friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. Was able to get a weekend diagnostic and a followup repair appointment for Monday from a last-minute call. The two technicians were thorough and courteous (wore masks, and boots when inside). Jason was able to find a leak in our line set that two previous companies completely missed. After repairing the leak and recharging our heat and A/C were back to working. No BS. Prices seemed fair for the work they performed.

    Our HVAC unit stopped working because of a factory defect in the middle of a very hot summer. Frank Alexander and Co. were extremely flexible - they fit us into their busy schedule and had us up and running in no time. They worked with the manufacturer, and gave us a fair price. Their staff member was very knowledgeable and professional, and explained the problem to us well.In addition, they have a great notification system where the customer automatically gets an email with the name and picture of the staff member when they are on their way, which is a very nice touch.Would definitely recommend their services.

    While waiting forever on the company our home warranty wants us to use, I called Alexander Heating to come have a look. They were able to come out right away, sent a notification that Jordan was coming, and he was here exactly on time!!! He was very knowledgeable, showed me exactly what was wrong, and what needed to be done. He emailed the quote for further repairs so that we could decide on home warranty or not. They are no-pressure, super nice and respectful company!! Jordan was excellent to work with! Our warranty is almost up and no matter what, we will be using Alexander Heating from here on out.     Outstanding people to work with from their customer service to the technicians in the field. We lost our AC over a Memorial Day weekend and I immediately called Alexander. They had a technician (Jordan) at my house the next morning (Saturday). He couldnt fix it right then and there because a new coil was needed. As soon as the office opened up on Tuesday morning, theyre estimating team was working on a quote to perform the job. Alexander was completely fair and professional in every manner. They take great pride in their work and how they treat their customers. I will, without any hesitation, look forward to calling upon them again when service is needed.

    I hired Alexander Heating and Air Conditioning Service and they arrived on time, were respectful of my property, time, and the price was excellent! Since my unit had not been serviced in a couple of years, I expected them to find something that was going to cost me a great deal of money. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised when it only needed a low cost capacitor. Even though they did not have the lower cost one in their truck, they put in the higher priced one in case I needed to use the air conditioning before I could find time to have them return with the lower priced one. When they returned, there wasnt even an additional charge for switching out the part and the return visit. Highly recommend them!

    We use Alexander services for our “twice a year” heating and cooling maintenance. They are very professional from the time you call to schedule the maintenance, to saying ‘thank you and good bye’ to the tech at the end of the service. BUT, for me, the true test of a solid company is what happens when something goes wrong and the system suddenly stops working…Twice I have called Alexander HVAC late at night in the middle of summer when the AC stopped working and twice I have received a call back from them before 8am the following day with a concrete plan to get us up and running within hours. Also, they are very transparent and are willing to explain and show you the issue-to the extent you’re interested-which goes a long way for someone like me who is actually pretty interested!If you’ve just moved to a new house and trying to figure out who to trust your HVAC system to, or if you’re unhappy with your current HVAC company, make the move over to Alexander services.     My tankless water heater was acting odd and finally gave up and started flashing a code. After calling the installer, a second contractor and finally the manufacturer, they pointed me Alexander. I was afraid is be down for days, instead they showed up within an hour. The tech was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. It ended up being a gas regulator, something I couldnt have diagnosed. He did his best to simply adjust it to save me the cost. He replaced it and left no trace otherwise. Clean, quick and I considered it worth it as a normal diy type guy. Would highly recommend them.

    I am another satisfied customer. From my phone call last night, to my appointment this morning, everything went flawlessly.The lady who made my appointment was just wonderful. Jeremy arrived within the time frame indicated, even with the terrible weather, wore booties in my house, diagnosed the problem (the capacitor), and fixed it. All within an hour.He was kind, professional, efficient, and competent.He also explained that our unit, as well as all other units installed prior to 2010, will be obsolete January 1, 2020. This is due to a change in the coolant that will be required by the EPA; a coolant that is more environmentally friendly. This change will require all home owners to purchase completely new systems (including the air-handler) to a tune of $7,000 plus.Although I was not happy to hear this information, it was definitely pertinent knowledge that will help us prepare for this change that will occur in less than 3 years.I highly reccommend Alexander H/C.

    My crawlspace was flooded with water, damaging my water heater almost to the point of extinction. I was scheduled for next day service. The technician arrived on time and was very knowledgeable.     Huge recommendation for Alexander Heating and Air!!!! Last night, after hours, we found water under our water heater. I messaged them, they helped me get through the night, and dispatched a plumber before 7am. Danny was able to “quick fix” it so we could at least have cold water in the house until he could come back with a new water heater in a few hours. He came back and within 2 hours we had a new water heater!     Excellent service. Ian, the technician, came on time and even called prior to arrival. The service was requested due to a home inspection that was done as part of a sale for the home. Ian could have easily charged me for a bogus repair, but instead said that the home inspector was in the wrong and that nothing was in need of repair. He charged me a reasonable service inspection fee and that was it. He even provided an explanation of his inspection to satisfy the buyers concern over the HVAC. We set the appointment schedule for noon of the same day. The appointment scheduler advised me of a few things to prepare and we followed her instructions. We received an e-mail confirmation with a photo of the technician so we would know who to expect. The tech (Jonathan) called and advised that he could be there earlier than scheduled.     AC stopped working. Called Alexanders. Even though we werent a previous customer, Frank came out that afternoon, diagnosed the problem (blower motor), ordered the motor, and was able to get the motor running enough that we had some AC for the night. Jeremy came out the next morning and installed the new motor and were back up and running. Excellent service! Fast, Reasonable, Professional. Will use them for all our HVAC needs.

    Recently has a Nest Thermostat installed by Alexander HVAC and has issues with the thermostat after two months.     I hired them to investigate a HVAC unit before closing a house. Jonathan Courtney, their technician, did a thorough examination. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, honest, and patient. I did not know Jonathan or met him before, but I know who my future HVAC contractor will be. Highly recommend!

    I had two companies through a home warranty (DO NOT use those plans, but that is another post...) that tried to upsell us a new AC unit when we didnt need it. Frank was the FOURTH person to come out & diagnosis & EXPLAIN to us what was going on. In his first estimate he thought he might need to add freon, but found out when he cleaned some coils, he didnt. He was HONEST & didnt try to overcharge even though the warranty company was paying for this.

    I just needed a quick spring inspection and tune-up for my AC. I called and was scheduled for two days later, just to get a call 20 minutes later that a technician was available right now. Another 30 minutes later the technician shows up as announced and works through his checklist. We hit a stumbling block, as some of the spots where temperature measurements should have been taken werent reachable on my unit. But in the end all my AC needed was some freon refill.All I had to pay was the freon and the tune-up. For the tune-up they even matched a competitors coupon.Oh. The entire process is automated. I got a confirmation by email, the technician was announced by email including a picture of him. I signed the bill on the techs cellphone and got a copy of it again by email. Had they taken a picture of my check and cashed it right away, the nerd in me would have been in nirvana.

    We have had an intermittent HVAC issue over the past few months wherein the blower in the air handler would stop working. This past week it happened on several occasions and in calling Stewart’s Heating for service found out they were out of business. In looking for another local HVAC service company I came across Alexander Heating out of Holly Springs who received good ratings on Google and Yelp. So I asked them some basic questions via email and was pleased with their replies and thought I would use them the next time I had a problem.Bam, Saturday, mid afternoon the blower stopped working. Since all previous failures self healed within hours, I figured I could wait until Monday. Well it got hot in here, about 86º, but we survived and Monday morning placed a call for service. Service arrived at 2:45pm, did a through check of all the possible causes and finally isolated the problem to a circuit board. The part is now on order and will be delivered/installed in a few days. However, a minor rewiring and the blower will run continuously until then, allowing A/C to cool the place down.I cannot praise the service person enough for their communicating to us every step in their diagnostic process. Additionally, Alexander Heating emailed me a photo of the service person before they arrived so that I knew who was knocking on the door.

    Ive only used them for 2 tune ups. The fall tune up took 20 mins and spring a full hour. Not sure if we got a thorough check in the fall. I felt better after the spring check as I felt things were actually checked. The paperwork was confusing as both good and needs replaced were both checked for a couple items 🤷🏾‍♀️. The main reason I took off a star is because the text sent to me asking for this review has my name as Chinese. That isnt even close to my name. But, that said I like that they are local and they reached out to me to schedule my tune up. I appreciate that! Will continue to use them and hopefully build a good relationship.

Ive had problems in the past and tried several other companies, but Alexanders has always sent Sergio right away. When its cold or hot, getting the unit fixed quickly is important.I appreciated Sergios expert opinion on what needed to be done immediately, what caused the problem and several options on how to improve the unit without any pressure to spend more money now. His friendly and professional demeanor, easy to understand explanations and affordable alternatives give me the confidence I need to make decisions for the care of my home.     Our heat went out Friday afternoon. Alexanders tech arrived Saturday morning and diagnosed the problem as the inducer motor ($1500 est. to replace). Due to this being a major repair, a second tech (higher level ?) came out on Monday afternoon and assessed that we had a bad switch on the inducer motor which he repaired. Total cost was $155.They could have easily clipped us for the $1500, but they did the right thing. I highly recommend this company.

    I called Alexander heating and Air on Friday night around 10 pm they promptly returned my phone call at 9 am the next day and scheduled a repairman for 4 PM on Sunday (first time slot available) they did promise if someone cancelled they would fit us in. (We have no small children) I would say we were not an emergency situation. Sunday came and we were so ready to cool off they called about 12 PM and said he had made a wrong turn and was actually headed our way and apologized for coming early HA Luck was on our side. He came diagnosed, replaced the capacitor, cleaned the parts around it and topped off the freon within under an hour of his time. Id say that was service. The price was even better, this company could have charged lots, but I felt it was fair and very reasonable so much in fact I told them Id keep them in mind since our system is starting to leak (Old AC system) for a replacement system. I highly recommend this company and will shout their name from the rooftops!! Thanks so much for cooling us off today!
