This is my first experience with Popkin Electric and to say I’m completely satisfied is an understatement. Everyone from the salesman to the back office people and especially the technicians were first rate. They were respectful and polite, the work was clean and efficient and most of all they were genuinely nice people. The entire experience was top notch all the way. I HIGHLY recommend them. 10 out of 10!

I had the pleasure of working with Andrew Popkin for a panel upgrade in my home, and I was blown away by his professionalism and expertise.From the get-go, Andrew showed up on time and was super polite and respectful. He took the time to walk me through the process step-by-step and patiently answered all of my questions. I really appreciated this, especially since I dont know the first thing about electrical work!Throughout the upgrade process, Andrew was a total pro. He worked quickly and carefully, taking extra care to make sure everything was done right. He kept me in the loop about any potential issues that came up, which made me feel confident that my home was in good hands.At the end of the project, I was thrilled with the results. The upgraded panel looks great and works even better. I can tell that Andrew really knows his stuff and takes pride in his work. Plus, he left everything spotless when he was done, which was a really nice touch.All in all, I would absolutely recommend Andrew Popkins panel upgrade services to anyone looking for electrical work. The team at Popkin Electric did an amazing job on my outdoor lighting project. They designed a perfect plan at a reasonable price. They showed up on schedule and installed all of the lighting as designed. A lot of trenching and wiring in tight places was done flawlessly. We love our new backyard and give a special thanks to Andy and the Popkin team.

I can not say enough good things about Popkin Electric. From my initial phone call to the office with Lucy, meeting with Andrew to go over the work I wanted to be completed and through out the job everything was explained and carried out with the utmost professionalism as planned. I decided to add a few items and it was no problem at all. All of my questions were answered prior to the job and during the job with knowledgeable explanations. When Pablo and the crew left I was extremally happy with the end results and more importantly I felt that the job was done correctly and all safety concerns/issues were addressed. Do not hesitate to call Popkin Electric. I most certainly will be using them again and recommending them to friends and family.

Popkin Electric is the best. I upgraded/replaced the electric panel and fixed a couple of other issues. All works were very professionally done on time. Especially Mr. Andrew Popkin was very nice and professional. He knew what was wrong after talk over the phone in one min., I had power outage. Popkin electric was excellent to work with. From the first phone call for an estimate to the completion of the job I was met with professionalism and excellent work. Mr.Popkin was courteous, and professional to work with in providing a estimate. I called for an estimate and he showed up the same day in the time frame he stated. After agreed upon contract Popkin electric scheduled the work and stuck to the day and time they stated. The gentleman whom did the work were courteous , informative and professional. I can’t say enough about this company. Great experience and excellent workmanship.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to write one for Popkin Electric. A few weeks ago, the power in our home went out during the middle of the day. I tried resetting the breakers, and nothing worked. I worried for my elderly parents since both use oxygen concentrators. Luckily, they have portable machines! Still, we didnt know how quickly we would get the power restored in our home. I called several electricians, and none were available. I explained the situation to Popkin Electric, and they got someone here very quickly. My panel is old, and the part that clocked out could not be replaced. Thanks to Giovanni, the electrician, and his boss, Andrew, for putting their heads together and finding a safe solution that restored my power (without the part). Giovanni was professional and very knowledgeable. Folks, please give this company some business!!!

This recommendation/review is about 17 years late! However, being in the same home for this period of time, and seeing what work held up and what work did not, I felt it was appropriate to leave a review now, 17 years later, as there is hardly any work that was done initially on my home that has lasted the test of time...except the electrical work.After 17 years, my electrical work done at my new home at the time by Popkin Electric is one of the very few jobs in which NOTHING has gone wrong. This is unique. Extensive project involving tons of wiring, fixtures and many unique job requests (I am a smart home and automation freak) and nothing has had to be replaced or serviced except for one ceiling fan, which oddly, was not something provided by Popkin, only installed.As a homeowner who paid great attention to all work being performed as my home was built, Popkins wiring and circuits were a work of art. I regret not taking enough pictures before drywall went up as I want to open walls for my friends and show them the precision and perfection in everything they did, even the stuff nobody would see again.Amazing company, around forever and stellar work that stands the test of time, which I can vouch for at least 17 years!! I find that to be impressive! If you require a job to be done right and perfect the first time, you will be happy selecting Popkin Electric.

Our church had major renovations done along with replacing all lighting with LED fixtures. In addition we had installation of new outlets panels and outdoor floodlights. In every aspect of the work, Popkin electricians arrived on time, performed the tasks capably, and cleaned up after their work. Their help in designing and addressing our needs was invaluable. Moreover, they stood behind their work and returned to correct any issues that may have arisen. They helped us apply for funding available for converting to LED lighting. As project manager for the church, I wholeheartedly recommend Popkin and sons.

Popkin Electric is an excellent company. Andrew serviced several of our residential homes and most recently our commercial building in Hicksville. He was prompt, courteous, professional as well as fairly priced. Other electricians couldnt figure out the problem and PSEG was no help. Andrew not only was able to diagnose the problem, he contacted PSEG directly to get it sorted out. We highly recommend him.

Andrew Popkin really knows his work. One wall of our kitchen lost all power. I tried resetting breakers in the main panel, but nothing worked. I talked to Andrew on the phone and I sent him a photo of my two breaker panels -- none of the switches were labeled. He took one look and told me exactly which one to reset. Ill bet you ten dollars that just fixed your problem, he said. Sure enough, the lights, toaster, and microwave were working again. No charge!Many thanks, Andrew Popkin! Ill call you again for bigger jobs when were ready to do them.

PSEG turned the power off late Friday night. Called Andrew early Saturday afternoon on a recommendation from a friend. He came within one hour to take a look at my circuit box and gave me an estimate within 2 hours. We agreed on the job and his workers were at my house 1st thing Monday morning and had the power restored in 1 day after upgrading the circuit panel. They completed the outside wiring on Tuesday with minimal power loss. Very professional and would recommend them.

He gave me an option to do first, rather than sending his team and get charged for a service fee. I did what he said and problem was solved.
