    Where do I start! I found BQ Electric on Google and I chose them over others based on their five star reviews. I was not disappointed!! They sent their team of workers Adam, Anthony, Marvin, Kevin, David, and David who were extremely professional and honest. Their work is impeccable. They made sure everything was done to perfection. The work was completed quickly because of the full team that they sent to complete the job. They did an outstanding job from start to finish. I have already recommended them to my sister and my friend. Thank you all for a job well done!

    BQ electric is the REAL DEAL!!! On time, competent, professional, courteous, respectful of property and they KEEP THEIR WORD when they make a promise!! Imagine that??? A company that stands behind what they say!!I hired them at first for a simple job, but after pulling the cover off my elvetrical panel, they discovered it full of water, with the breakers basically frozen from oxidation.They replaced EVERYTHING and did so ASAP because of the potential fire hazard. I cant recommend them enough. Pics are provided below, with the last three showing the rust accumilation BEFORE BQ electric FULLY replaced the ENTIRE system, both inside AND outside.Brian the owner is FANTASTIC to deal with, and an overall good person and his head tech Charlton, along with his assistant David, could not be MORE competent and professional.

    I needed an emergency rewire of my oil burner, replacement of my circuit breaker panel and an upgrade my electrical service to 200 amps. They came quickly and diagnosed my issues perfectly. Everything was done on time and at the price quoted by very skilled and knowledgeable technicians. I couldnt be more pleased with the work they did. They guarantee their work, but I have the peace of mind that it was done right the first time.

    Outstanding service... These folks are ULTRA professional. Very pleased with their promptness, up front and clear pricing, expeditious arrival and completion of task in a timely manner. They also thoroughly cleaned up and swept up after themselves, in spite of the messy work they had to do. Very explanatory, and Kevin, along with his assistant Dustin, would be the ideal people to do any electrical work for people in their homes. I recommend them very highly!

    Great work was done by Charlton and his helper (sorry -- forgot his name). The BQ crew added a new 20amp circuit with high grade #12 wire, new GFCI receptacles to service our aquariums, computer network with appropriate breakers. Very neat, very clean very professional. BQ Electric is the electrician to use!

    They have outstanding customer service/support!!! They are easy to get in touch with and are timely with every aspect of their work! Their text updates even tell you where the technician is in regards to getting to your home, map included! I was not expecting this level of customer support and service so its needless to say that they over delivered!     This company definitely deserve the 5 star rating. The quote process was fast and easy for a EVSE. The customer service was awesome; especially Leah! Every time I called for something she picked up and was always pleasant and helpful.The installers were clean and fast. Their after install support was awesome too.I had issues with my inspection certificate and issues with my install for my EVSE but BQ came through and resolved my issues. They addressed the issues quickly and didnt try to ghost me after I paid them!Forgot to add that their dispatching software is great too. When the electrician is scheduled to arrive at your house you get notifed with their name, picture, and GPS location. No need to guess when theyll arrive. You can see it happening!Thank you and I highly recommend this company if you have any electrical needs!

    I had multiple services preformed including installing a 60amp line for my EV charging station, cleaning up my outdoor pool switches which included a remote switch for the pool light, updated 2 wall switches and installed a home surge protector.John came in to evaluate and was very knowledgeable and helpful working with me to address my needs.Technicians Steve and Justin performed all of the services perfectly from start to finish. They were both very knowledgeable and had excellent work ethics.Also you can always reach someone if you reach out to them.Totally satisfied and would highly recommend calling them for any electrical work you may need👍

    Ran into a very unexpected Electrical issue. I had Partial Electric in the house. Called BQ Electric based on Internet Reviews. Rob got on the phone with me to first try some things before dispatching a crew. He also suggested to check with PSEG to make sure it was my issue. In the end, it was my issue, and my responsibility, and so I called them back and they had a team to my house the next day to assess. Completely professional and let you know when they are heading to you and when they would be there. Because of the owners initial efforts, and the professionalism of the team that showed up, I had no concerns hiring them for the job. This team restored power to needed areas and came back the next day for a complete electrical panel update..inside and out. Very happy with the people, the work and the quality. Highly recommend

    Excellent work by Joe D. and Jorge C. on a recent home renovation. 80% of the old light fixtures were swapped for new ones. The guys arrived at the home within the time window quoted. They installed the new light fixtures carefully and in a reasonable amount of time.Many were ceiling fixtures, requiring ladders to complete the job. The ladders were placed safely and respectful of the recently painted walls and ceilings. The completed job was absolutely outstanding! Major props to Joe and Jorge for doing a phenomenal job! I will definitely call on BQ Electric again for any future electrical work.

    Vinny and Dave the apprentice did some troubleshooting after living room wall went out. Found outside outlet was damaged and burnt from short circuit due to moisture getting into the socket. Replaced with seal and weather protection cover. All done within the 90 minutes quoted before starting the work. Vinny and Dave were excellent and very professional and friendly. I highly recommend.

    Very satisfied. Our lead technician (Kevin Padilla) was excellent. When the work took longer than expected or had additional issues, Kevin took care of them, staying well past quitting time to get it done.Joe DiGiacomo did the estimate for us and made the plan for the lead technician to use. During the estimate/walk through, he laid out all the options so we could feel safe with our older houses wiring.I will absolutely be using these folks for future electrical work around the house. They werent the cheapest estimate, but they did it right, explained everything along the way, and listened to my requests.Everyone I spoke to at the company had that same vibe. Id highly recommend them individually and BQ Electric as an excellent company!PS: work included upgrading electric panel, replacing many outlets, switches, etc., and troubleshooting an always on outdoor light.

    I still had a fuse box in the apartment I lived in. There were sparks coming out of this housing unit. The electric company came and said they cant believe this place hasnt burned down and shut our power down and said they dont do the work that was needed for this place, so I called BQ Electric and they sent someone here with 26 years of experience! He and his associate had to rewire and replace EVERYTHING.. it was a big job but it was done in less than 6 hours!!! I was so happy cuz it was in August and I cant stand the heat. I was so afraid theyd say they couldnt do it or it would take a week to do... I honestly believe if another company came...they wouldnt be able to fix it. SO I LOVE BQ ELECTRIC!!!!!!! AND THAT GUY WHO HAD 26 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE!!!! (I forgot his name but just ask for the Viking looking guy) Ill always use them from now on!!!! Thanks BQ

    Charlton and Matthew arrived on time, put out a mat to clean their feet on the way in and out, and got to work. They did an excellent job. They were respectful of my home, explained what they were doing and when they would be done, and left the area neater than they found it. My husbands father was an electrician and he noted that the job they did was superb. They clearly went the extra mile and have a lot of pride in their work. It shows in their attention to detail. I would highly recommend them for any electrical work you might have. The price is highly competitive and their work is great!     We have BQ to upgrade our panel and install outlets for AC system and 6 lights. The team is the best. They are professional and know exactly what they are doing. The lead technician, Bill, is one of the best guys ever met. His knowledge and experience is unmatchable. He is super-patient as my wife is a very detailed person who can change minds swiftly. Bill paid attention to her concerns all the time, and gave professional advices. He never cut any corners on my project and has high standard on how work should be done. My panel is very old and the wiring was a mess. BQ electrician, Dylan, helped clean up the wiring and also remove any unused signal cables and old phone signal lines. He rewired everything very neatly and to the codes, giving the panel area a whole refreshing look now. Dave went to the attics which is a crawl space to get all the wiring done. Tough job, but Dave handled them all smoothly. John also did great job to put down the AC switches and main wiring and he is also a very nice guy. After the job, they cleaned out all the garbages and Bill even mopped the floor for us. I might miss a couple other guys here, and they were all doing nice job. The boss, Bryant, is also a nice person and very easy to communicate. In a nutshell, this is a great team, a great company and everyone is super nice. Bryant - you are so lucky to have such a team!!! I never feel like I want to recommend a team so badly. If you have an electrical work, definitely go to them and you won’t regret.

    Joe also made my husband laugh the whole time he was here and he was on time and came in from 9 am to 7:30 pm and worked until the job was finished and went back and forth to Home Depot and always let us know if anything was wrong or anything wasMissing from the fixtures and went up and down the ladder carefully and put floor mats and sheets down on the floor so our carpet won’t get dirty and he was very niceAnd patient and humble and kind and worked not in a rush and did the job right .     BK Electric was a pleasure to deal with. We are going to install new siding on our home. Since it is a Levitt house, it had a ton of conduit all over the place.     The team arrived within the timeframe and finished the job earlier than expected . I was very happy with the overall work results since it was a big job . The guys worked together well each doing their own part and then coming together to test the connectivity . Turned out mr carter and I had a mutual friend , he was a real pro working on the circuit breaker box . David was a little young but knew his electrical work very well. I was very pleased to find out that BQ has their own training school near their office and hopefully the community will get involved in supporting their training incentive . BQ really means the BEST QUALITY . And I wholeheartedly recommend their service . The work was done very neatly , there was nothing for me to cleanup afterwards ..

    I recently worked with BQ Electric on my home remodel and wanted to continue to work with them after. We rewired the entire house and put in new panels, updated outlets, added tv outlets etc. I couldn’t be happier with their service.     Dean and Matt of BQ Electric came to my house today to install a new electrical panel,two dedicated air conditioner power plugs and two external power plugs to the outside of my home.They texted me to tell me they were on the way but before they got there a nice gentleman showed up and went over all the details of the job and checked the locations to be worked on.He explained to me what would happen and how they would proceed.They got right to work as they showed up and a second work crew came in to install the additional power plugs which they did a very neat job.When Dean and Matt completed the panel upgrade and returned the power and labeled the circuit breakers I was extremely impressed by their craftsmanship and detail to the job.I highly recommended BQ Electric to anyone needing professional electricians.Thank you also to Andrew and Steve for their leadership position on this job.

    I cannot say enough about Andrew Hernandez And his helper Matthew Yuill. They are both very professional courteous and most importantly efficient. I needed a new breaker box put in my house and all the electrical checked after a house fire. Andrew and Matthew came into my house put me at ease and very quickly started to work.     Recently had some work done and pleased with the professionalism of Edison in the office getting right back to me with a complete breakdown of what was needed for my Ev Charger installation. Scheduling with the office was a great experience as they worked with my schedule.     3 Men showed up at 8:00 in the morning to do new 200 amp service. Kevin was the lead Electrician and started all the guys off with different jobs. One guy took care of outside doing all the wiring and taking down old mask and installing new mask. He level everything just perfectly when he hung everything up. I couldnt of been more satisfied. On the inside Kevin did the new panel for 200 amp had to cut the wall for the new panel. He cut it perfectly then pulled out old wires and pulled new wires he did outstanding job. The other guy had to cut in new lights and boxes run wires did very nice job. Then they cleaned up everything vacuumed nothing left outside. Very nice guys all deserved a good tip they didnt leave until 7:00 pm. I would recommend this company for your Electric needs. Robert m

    Highly recommend!!! They did such a great job! Our phone calls were always answered and it was easy to make an appointment. The estimator that came to our house was very knowledgeable and professional. The electricians that came to do the work were young and well-trained gentlemen. They were great and did an awesome job!! I wished they had worked a little bit faster. It seemed like they were taking their time to do everything, which is good but I felt like they were doing it to put in more hours. We were sort of tied up at home the entire day and had other things planned that we had to cancel later in the day. Between waiting for their arrival and the 6-7 hour work day, we just didn’t expect to be tied up that long.     Thank you to BQ Electric for helping us on such short notice. About 6 months ago we finished a full house remodel. After the remodel we would occasionally see our lights flicker around the house. This morning the power in one of our rooms started cutting in and out. We shut the power off to that room and I called BQ Electric.Vinny and Armando came over within a few hours. What they found, shocked me. The wire to the breaker on that line was burnt about 18 inches. On further inspection, they noticed about 25 breakers did not have the wires tightened in the circuit box.     I recently purchased a new home and hired BQ Electric to do several electrical projects throughout my house including installing a new bathroom fan/heater, installing a tv outlet for my big screen tv, installing new ceiling fans and upgrading all the outlets and switches throughout the home. The two guys that were sent to my house did an excellent job and were super neat and clean. All the fixtures were installed straight and level, they cleaned up and vacuumed after each job and were super professional. The owner Brian went above and beyond by having his team out here immediately in order to get the job done before my painter came. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them!

    I spoke to Brian about having some serious electrical work done (new entrance cable) on my house. He came out, quickly diagnosed the work needed and explained my possible choices in a pleasant and non-pressured manner. Once I made my choice, his crew came out and quickly did an impressive job. A nice touch was having his workers, without asking, wear clean sneakers on top of the work tarp while inside the house. I am happy with their work done and recommend them.Update (8/8/15): I called BQ Electric for help regarding a new electrical stove. Even though it was on short notice, Brian helped me out and squeezed in the work order for the next day. What was great and made everything go quickly was that one of the workers this time was a repeat worker from the first job so the familiarity was already there.     We called BQ to repair our service entrance which had been damaged when a tree branch fell on our line. Brian (the B in BQ) responded to our phone inquiry right away and scheduled an appointment to see us the next day. We had called 4 other companies in the area. Three never got back to us and one said they could come assess the problem 2 weeks later. His quotation was very reasonable.We had a new wood mast installed, PVC pipe, new wiring and a new meter pan. His staff was prompt, professional and courteous. They arrived on time and even called 45 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive to give me an estimated time of arrival. They even went as far as putting down drop cloths as to not dirty our floors. The work was done promptly and they removed all debris from the repair. The power to our house had to be shut off to get the work done. Luckily for us the BQ staff is already trained and certified on how to do it so we did not have to wait for PSE&G to come and restore it thereafter. Two days after the work was done we received a follow up call from Brian to ensure that everything was in order and see if we were satisfied with the work that was done. After hearing the nightmares people go through with different electricians I so glad we went with BQ Electric. I highly recommend them and will use them again if we need any electrical work done in the house.

    BQ Electric has been my go to company for the past few years. I first found them when I had an issue with my upstairs losing partial power. Brian had me go room to room to see what areas did hav power to trouble shoot the problem so when his crew did come the next morning they had already narrowed down the cause and it was a quick fix. Since then, they installed exterior outlets for me, swapped out old outlets and cleaned up the wiring in the boxes and (most recently) installed recessed lighting in my living room. I told him I was not a fan of LED lighting. He told me he could have his crew put 2x2 LED panels in my drop ceiling, and with the diffuser on, he said that I would like the light.     We had ice dam issues last winter and swore we would not let it happen again!! Two de-icing systems were installed on roof w/ gfci receptacles and thermostats - garage wiring updated to code w/ timer installation - installation of 10-circuit gen tran sub panel w/ outlet outside w/ 25 cable and whole house surge protection. Brian is the owner and gentleman who i spoke with and orchestrated all the work through. Bill and another gentleman came and performed the work. They were all absolute gentleman, a true pleasure to work with and I was extremely comfortable leaving them in my house. Communicative, answered all questions, didnt appear to ever take the short cut or cheap way out whatsoever, didnt check the watch, just enjoyed doing the work and explaining the job to me. We had a bit of a freak occurrence that evening, as coincidentally, we lost power the evening that this work was performed!! I was having issues, but Bill came to my house at 9pm with a backup generator, got us up and running and even spent an hour triple checking everything and tweaking the balance of load, due to an additional backup freezer we had in the basement that I wanted running. It ended up being a bad generator on my part but he was happy to help, even provide advise on what to get as a replacement. Additionally, their work is very neat. I have already recommended them to two people and am writing this review to do same.
