    Fred gave us a very fair estimate for replacing the old Water-main pipe with a copper pipe up to our house. He came in much lower than anyone else, and when the job was done, that was what it cost. His plumbers, Jake and Eduardo were efficient and put the lawn back how they found it and polite and respectful for the day it took them to do this and a couple other plumbing jobs. I would highly recommend them.

    Star Rooter & Plumbing completed two major works for me in one week. Both jobs were managed by Julio Solis. He replaced my water pipe from the meter to the house and replaced the sewage pipe from my house up to the street. He and his crew are AMAZING!!! The jobs were completed on time. The prices were very reasonable. I can’t thank Julio and crew enough for jobs well done!!! Thank you guys!!!

    Our house required repiping as it was built in 1972 and had all galvanized pipes that were corroded. Joe and his crew took two days to efficiently complete the job. The price was reasonable and fair. The job was done with the highest quality and service. Joe explained everything with simplicity and patience.I would highly recommend this licensed and insured business.

    Star Rooter has helped me on several projects at my home and several of my family members homes. We have had nothing but 5 Star service from them. They even came out on Thanksgiving when one of our old faucets started leaking and mad repairs very quickly so we could continue on with our Thanksgiving preparations.

    We contracted Star Rooter to replace our sewer lateral and fix some leaks. Fred explained the work his team would do in detail, gave us options, and even worked with us on the price to find something we could afford. He was able to get the relevant permits quickly, and his team worked efficiently to cause as little disruption as possible. Were definitely calling Fred again for our future plumbing needs.

    Star Rooter is on the CVSan qualified contractor list. I called and Joe Ramos came and did a camera inspection. And I wanted him to replace the sewer lateral from my clean out to the side walk. He gave me an estimate more reasonable than the other two estimates. He took care of everything. Gave me a date, came on time and finished the job the same day. He also put 15 feet of new concrete for my side walk. His whole team is good and respectfulI wish them all the best

    I have gotten a few quotes from different plumbing company for a sewage lateral pipe and Joe at Star Rooter was the best in communication. They were the only company who actually tried to troubleshoot what was going on. We were unable to use our appliances/toilet because everything was backing up. Our house was built in the early 50s so everything is old. Im 7 months pregnant and the last thing on my mind is not being able to use things in the house without it backing up. He explained everything to me in lament terms. I was able to understand what the problem was and he helped us fixed the issue with a permit from the city in a couple of days. I would definitely recommend using these guys- they know what they are doing! I can happily say the house seem to be fine now. Thanks Joe and team!

    Star Rooter and Plumbing is an exceptional company. I have been using Star Rooter for a little over 10 years now. They have done major projects such as sewer lateral replacements, repipes,drains and water heaters on my properties that I have in San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Castro Valley, and Hayward. I have recommended them to my family members and neighbors.     Julio and his team at Star Rooter were fantastic! The bidding process was both helpful and educational, and they even captured video footage for me to share with my homeowners insurance, which helped cover some of the costs for replacing our sewer lateral. The quality of their work was excellent—they had to dig a trench, patch up our street, and re-pour the sidewalk in front of our home, and everything was done perfectly. Julios team worked seamlessly with our city inspectors in San Leandro, managed traffic on our very busy street, and kept everything clean, which kept us in good favor with our neighbors. They were on time, on budget, and incredibly kind and friendly throughout the process. Highly recommend!

    Star Rooter was amazing (and especially Alex). My ejector pump suddenly broke right before Thanksgiving and my house smelled awful. I called Star Rooter and they were super responsive. Alex called back immediately, visited and proposed a reasonably priced replacement, and he and his crew replaced the broken equipment without a hitch. He was super easy and communicative and helped to solve some obstacles. I highly recommend Star Rooter and especially Alex. Thank you for saving us!

    I used Star Rooter twice so far and referred them to my dad. Both myself and my dad are pleased with their work. AJ asked if I wanted him to come the same day! Reasonable prices, professional, gets it done the same day , maybe 2 days for big sewer job, no problems, and got my paid receipt at the end. Im thinking of another job I need them for because I trust them and like their service . Highly recommend.

    I dont know about the negative comments on here but from my experience with Star Rooter I can only praise. When we got the estimate Juan was thorough and on time. He took care of all the communications with our towns Sanitary District office for permits, and inspections. The work was done in one day, no hiccups or extra cost. Their bid was the best of the bids and he was the only contractor who actually look into the sewer with a camera; all the others did a estimate out of the top of their heads and seem not to be interested in doing the job. I would recommended Star to anyone who is replacing their lateral.

    Do not choose anyone else! This company is great! We had a trenchless sewer line replacement. The end cost was exactly what we were quoted, they came out and did the entire job in one day. The workers were friendly and professional. Were really happy that we chose Star Rooter & Plumbing!

    We had a main line water break on Monday which happened to break our sewer line which unbeknownst to us that soot and rock was shot into our sewer line towards our house. It wasn’t until Saturday evening we found our cut out backing up in the back yard. Sunday we started searching for a plumber to come out with a camera so we could record what was in our line. It is very hard to find a plumber on Sunday. But Felix responded and showed up around 4pm on a Sunday evening. He worked tirelessly and was determined to clean the line of all these rocks and soot. He was going to have to come back the next day with a bigger, more powerful machine. Felix and a co-worker returned around 3:30 Monday and still determined to break free our line of all debris. He finished around 7pm and was able to complete the job. We are very happy customers and will be referring all our friends to Star Rooter (ask for Felix). One more important thing, the price. The amount he charged was fair and we DIDN’T feel taken advantage of one bit. He is very knowledgeable and knows how to handle any situation. Know that you can count and trust in Star Rooter.

    Alex, Javier and the other good men on the Star Rooter crew did an efficient job of replacing our broken sewer pipe using their trenchless system. It was a big project but they kept us informed of their progress. They even worked well past dark one evening.This project uncovered the urgent need to repipe our 1940s house from corroded galvanized pipe to all copper. Good to know our water is now traveling through the new and correct type of pipe.While I would not wish either project on anyone, I can recommend using Star Rooter and Plumbing for these urgent needs.     Called Starrooter On the weekend because i was having a backed up sewer and I was not able to use any plumbing at my house. I got a quick response and next thing you know they are out at my house fixing my issue. They recommended me to replace my sewer and I decided to proceed with the job.     Today, Star Rooter & Plumbing replaced my water heater. They were very efficient and reasonably priced. In a couple of hours I went from not having hot water to having hot water in a few hours... Im very happy with their prompt service. This is my third time using their service. A few years ago I had all of my house waste lines replaced, and they fixed a kitchen drain problem. They stayed on the job until completed. Theres no doubt who Im going to call when I have any plumping problems.
