We had Grotberg West Electric install wiring and lights in our building. They gave us a great bid, and were prompt and efficient in doing the job. They were very responsive to get everything just right, and gave good advice on circuits, timers etc. They also left the place incredibly neat! We will be calling them for future projects.

Our house used to be like a bat cave, but now with the recessed lights it looks beautiful and transformed. We initially only hired them to install a generator. After seeing what a clean and impressive job with the wiring and everything else, we decided to ask if they could install our lights. They did such an amazing job. Very clean and they were able to place the lights at the areas we wanted them to. They did such a great job measuring and cutting at the right places. Everything went so smoothly. We got back and it was as if they were never there because it was also sparkling clean. Not only do they do a great job, but all of the guys were so kind and friendly. My children actually look forward to having them and as do we. If you want professional and kind electrician look no further. It is great to know that we gave found a reliable, excellent and certified electricians. We will be using them in the future for any need we might have.

Grotberg Electric provided me the perfect blend of clear communication, timeliness, and high quality work, for projects ranging from the mundane (new outlet) to the major (panel replacement). I will not hesitate to work with them for my future electrical needs.[Months later] I worked with Grotberg Electric to implement a major shop power upgrade, including three-phase power. Getting the design right was tricky, but the result was even better than I had hoped for, thanks to the care Grotberg Electric took in understanding my needs and site-specific constraints. And the high quality of the work itself really impressed me. I hope this will be my last major electrical project for a long time to come, but I will certainly rely on Grotberg Electric for future electrical work, major or minor.

Mike came out and quickly got us a quote as well as made some useful recommendations. The Grotberg team (Jerry, Daryl, Jesse) did an awesome job in getting everything wired and installed, and gave us helpful insight on selecting LED bulbs and locating fixtures. Grotberg Electric was by far the most professional -- and their quote was the most reasonably priced -- of all the companies that provided us estimates for the installation of a standby generator for our residence. All was accomplished on time, and the final price even came in under the original quote. The installation was done professionally and expeditiously, with the electricians staying after the installation was complete to make us familiar with the new generator and its owner interface, including the wi-fi setup. One of the most important things that set Grotberg apart from other companies from which we received quotes was the fact that Grotberg was the only one that sent a real electrician, Mike Koch, who understood the customers needs in developing the installation plan and quote. Other companies sent salesman, but Mike was friendly, helpful, and sat down with us as he took the time to discuss options. I was building a new shop. I needed temporary power run for construction, an would be needing the shop wired after construction. I contacted Mike and he came out for an estimate. The estimate was fair and I gave them the go-ahead. The temporary power was hooked up. When the shop up I had them return for the shop wiring. The work they did was quality and organized. I am very happy with the work performed. Looking forward to have them do my next building.

These guys are a lifesaver! I had an issue with my original contractor and ended up having to let him go. As most people know having a contractor come in and pick up after another one halfway through a project is hard to do. There is a construction boom going on here so its hard to get an electrician. Grotberg came in and helped me out despite being essentially fully loaded on their schedule. Their prices are really good too! They always showed up when they said they would, which i love. Ill always be thankful for their short notice help. I definitely recommend these guys, anytime.

Referred by friend who used them. Had them install a sub panel for a couple sheds, generator hookup and RV outlet. The guys were very professional even when they ran into a brief SNAFU. While digging the trench for the conduit they ran across some heavy granite. They did as much as they could for the day and arranged for heavier equipment for the next day. The job was completed in a timely fashion. Workers very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Will use them in the future and recommend them for all electrical needs.

I have a unique home where I needed an Ethernet cable run. The guys came out and spent a lot of time trying to find a way to do it. I was called and told there was no clean way. They could run it on the roof or attach in weird places but it wouldnt look good. I was thankful for the honesty and loved that I wasnt just given a shabby job. No work was done because it wouldnt look good. That is my kind on Contractor. Sorry I couldnt give you work, but I will call you for other things I need in the future!

My review is long overdue, but here we go. Ive had Mike and his team at Grotberg Electric do a number of jobs for me in the past 18-months. They were recommended from another electrician who was booked out for 6-months.The big install was the installation of a Generac stand-by generator last October 2021. When Costco and other vendors couldnt find a stand-by generator for at least 3-4 months, Grotberg Electric was able to locate one and installed it in one day. The install was first rate and the customer service was 5-STAR.Over the past two days, we two separate power outages due to high winds. In both cases, the stand-by generator kicked-on as soon as the outage occurred and cut-off as soon as power was restored. The generator turned-off literally seconds before my text alert from Avista arrived to notify me that power was restored.I recommend Mike and his team at Grotberg Electric without hesitation, and I give them my highest rating.
