    We had a clogged toilet which was our emergent need. Ron came and fixed it and showed us video of what the problem was.He them took a lot of time to work on our bathroom sink that hadnt worked in ages. He found the issue but it required going through the wall to replace pipes. He offered solutions and who to contact to get the job done. He went one step further to contact the person and send him video!If plumbing issues are ever needed, I highly recommend Smith Drain. They are tops!

    All five-star reviews are truly well-deserved, and Iā€™m proud to become one of them. Initially, I thought the clogged kitchen drain in my house was a simple issue. However, after trying two different plumbers, not only was the problem unsolved, but they also gave me exorbitant quotes to replace the pipes.In desperation, I found this company, and Ron turned out to be extremely professional. Although he also used a snake, Ronā€™s equipment was clearly more advanced, and his technique was much more experienced. Having observed the methods of the previous two plumbers, I could tell how skilled Ron was. He was also incredibly patient. The drain wasnā€™t cleared on the first attempt, but he didnā€™t give up. After several tries, he finally succeeded.Afterwards, Ron used a camera to inspect the pipe and pinpointed the issue: it was just grease buildup. I have no idea why the other two plumbers couldnā€™t resolve it. He cleaned out the grease with the snake again and explained that one section of my pipes had about 10 ft of bends that retained water, but it wasnā€™t causing the blockage. When I asked Ron if that section needed to be replaced, he said it wasnā€™t necessary.This shows how honest Ron isā€”he identified a minor issue but didnā€™t push for costly replacements. Unlike the other two plumbers, who couldnā€™t even diagnose the problem yet quoted me thousands to replace the pipes, which felt like a scam. Iā€™m officially a fan of Ron, and I know who to call for plumbing issues in the future!

    Smith Drain Solutions is a life saver!!! I have had a problem with my kitchen drain for quite some time. It finally stopped up and wouldnt clear with anything. I called Smith Drain Solutions and Ron came out the next day! He was very knowledgeable and had all the right equipment. He even put a camera down the drain and sent me a video of it, so I could see the problem. He got our drain cleared - it was a long 40 stretch, but he did it!!! Super friendly, very knowledgeable, very professional - Top Notch from start to finish!     Called my local plumber regarding a recurring problem with a kichen sink that keeps backing up. They referred us to Smith Drain Solutions, and I am very impressed with their service. They scheduled the call and contacted me with an exact arrival time on the day of the service. The technician (Jacob) was very professional and listened to our description of the problem. He used a camera to scope the pipe and find the blockage location, and offered a copy of the video for reference. We also came up with details for the plumbers if we continue to have problems and need a permanent fix. All in all, this was a very satisfactory experience.

    Smith Drain Solutions is a lifesaver. On a Sunday afternoon, our kitchen sinks backed up to the point that no water was draining whatsoever. We contacted a local plumber who had emergency hours. Upon explaining the situation to them, this plumber actually recommended Smith Drain Solutions, stating, ā€œtheyā€™re the best, theyā€™ll get it cleared for you. No doubt.ā€I reached out to Smith Drain on Sunday afternoon, and received a call back within the hour. The service rep was extremely friendly, helpful and understanding, and while there was no availability for assistance that evening, she assured me they would be there first thing on Monday morningā€¦they were.The team arrived right on schedule and were very professional and respectful of our home. They were well-equipped with various drain cleaning tools and cameras, and began immediately to identify the problem. Displaying obvious experience, they found the issue and used a series of clearing procedures to completely clear our lines. The team even provided us before and after videos of the pipe to show the issue was resolved.After recapping the steps that they had taken, they recommended some helpful hints to prevent future blockages.Overall, it was a very good experience, in a difficult situation.     Was recommended these guys from another plumber. My experience has always been that if a tradesman speaks kindly or even recommends another - then that person or company is usually really good! It was certainly true here.Was able to get a last minute appointment due to a cancellation. Ron and Jacob came out to scope out my underground drains to figure out where they exited. They helped me trace things out and we discovered where things terminated. I was able to follow along on the monitor with them. Both gentleman were extremely friendly and knowlegable. They gave me the information I needed for a very reasonable price. Ron also brainstormed with me on possible solutions and had a real practical approach to solving problems. He also didnā€™t pressure me on any upsell and was very honest on what he and his team could help with vs what I should seek from elsewhere. Would definitely recommend these guys if you need drains scoped or cleaned.

    These guys were great. Called into the office on a Tuesday, great experience scheduling and giving the office all my information. Scheduled for Thursday 9am, they were on time and ready to get work done. They are true professionals with thier equipment and knew what would work for my problems. I had a septic line blockage that they were able to camera and snake to clear it, then clean the lines and identify the problems. They marked where the lines where and where the blockages have been so we will be able to repair the issues. The pipes were in bad shape but they were able to get the camera to the point that they could show me exactly what, and where, the problem is. Saved me a ton of digging around in my patio and landscaping.Highly recommend. Zero mess left in or outside of my home.I attached a pic of the problem area of my sewer pipe.Follow up review:My sewer lines were EXACTLY where they marked, at the depth they said. Saved me a ton of hassle/time/money digging in the wrong area. I had doubted the depth, but they were spot on. My house is wrong, they were right... ha.

    If you need help with toilets, pipes, drains, etc. I highly recommend Smith Drain Solutions. I called them at 8am today, non emergency, and they got us on the schedule at 11 the same day! The 2 workers we had were EXTREMELY nice, updated us each step of the way, respected our home, and fixed our problem! What was the best is they dont try to nickel and dime you for every little thing they do. If we ever need help again well definitely be giving them a call.

    I was referred by a local plumber to Smith Drain Solutions. We believed our main sewer line was broken. Theresa was very understanding of our predicament and went above and beyond to help us, even though they dont repair sewer lines. Ron was willing to come check it out even though it was below freezing and it had just snowed. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous and he explained what he was doing and how the equipment worked.     These gentlemen provided us prompt service that was very impressive! They quickly identified the problem, explained how they were going to resolve the issue and proceeded to do so fast and efficiently!     Our son threw an object into the toilet as it flushed clogging our toilet. After trying everything I could the toilet was still clogged. We called and they were able to come out the same day for no extra charge. They were both very professional and respectful to us and our house. They used a camera to find the problem and cleared it out quickly. They cleaned everything up and got everything fixed and back to normal! Highly recommend using these guys if you have issues.

    These guys are GOOD. We discovered a huge break in my cast iron drain line. And they were able to find the huge crack and sent a video directly to my phone. They are fantastic at finding the problem and finding the cheapest solution. To bad they dont do plumbing. From now on, I call them first for any plumbing issues and set up a plan for plumbing, saving me money in the long run.

    I had a clogged 1.5 drain pipe, the diameter was too narrow for my plumber to clear with regular snake. I called SDS; Ron came out with special equipment that not only accommodated the narrow pipe but their Hydro Jet totally cleared and throughly cleaned out the line. Ron was prompt, gave attention to detail, explained everything and got the job done well. Def. Recommend.

    For some reason our homes acid neutralizer decided to flush about 50 pounds of fresh calcite media (millions of tiny crystals) into our homes drain system. The crystals packed together to form a blockage that soon caused our drain piping to fill to overflowing. And overflow it did, up and out through the air-gap vent pipe in our basement and all over our basement floor. Until Smith Drain Solutions arrived - thankfully they were able to come out the same day we called them - we had no idea what was causing the problem, but Ron from SDS quickly discovered the blockage using his highly specialized camera system, diagnosed the root problem, and then used his Hydro Jet to thoroughly clean out our indoor piping as well as the 70 feet of piping that runs from our house out to our septic tank system. Smith Drain Solutions response was excellent in every way. Outstanding professionalism. Great job. For anyone experiencing a drain problem, whether its residential, industrial, or commercial, theres not a doubt in my mind that your first and only call should be to Smith Drain Solutions.     Ive had Smith Drain Solutions to my house twice to fix a problem that prevented ANY water from draining from toilets, showers, etc. They responded quickly and fixed the problem both times. SDS has state of the art equipment to diagnose the problem and fix it. Most importantly, they could tell me why the problem was occurring so that I could prevent it from happening again.They are very professional and friendly, have quite reasonable rates for their services, and I highly recommend them.

    When we called Smiths we had already been without water for over 10 days due to blocked drainage. The other plumbers we had been working with did shoddy work, and refused to take our job seriously. Kept putting the work off so we couldnt use any water for over a week.After calling Smiths they immediately understood the position we were in, and sent a professional crew the very next day. The crew was right on time with the time window they gave us. They fixed all the issues left by the other plumbers, as well as cleaning up the mess the previous plumbers left behind.     These folks are amazing!!!! They were recommended by my plumber who no longer does drain work. I had an emergency with all drains backing up in my house. I called and immediately got Theresa, one of the owners. She said her husband, Ron, would be out the same day to fix the problem. He arrived about an hour later. I did learn later that it was their day off, and they still responded like a normal work day! Ron was great. It felt like my brother showed up to help! Totally professional. Wearing a mask, uniform and truck and equipment that looked spotless! He diagnosed the problem quickly and hydro - jetted my drain lines and all was fixed! I cannot recommend them enough!     Recently, i used Smiths Drain Solutions for my kitchen drain. i had another company out a month ago for the same problem. The problem still existed. i decided to use a recommendation and it paid off. First of all, the customer service was exceptional. Theresa explained everything involved in their drain service. No hidden cost. The service was exceptional. I had a guy named Ron. He did an outstanding job clearing all of the grease out of my lines. it took him a long time to remove the grease. He hydrojetted my line from the kitchen sink to the septic tank. After that, he showed me by camera that the line was clear. Completely satisfied with their service. Highly recommend them. We had a serious clog issue over the weekend and after not only being misdiagnosed as a septic backup, but also told that we would need to make an insurance claim by another company, Smith was able to fit us in and assess the situation first thing on a Monday morning, and properly diagnose a clog using high tech. equipment while informing at the same time. He went above and beyond with information and an inspection of our issue. Couldnā€™t be happier... will be calling in the future!

    Professional, Honest, Knowledgeable. These words describe Smith Drain Solutions. I am having a problem with water getting into my basement. The house and drainage system are 24 years old. I called Smith Drain Solutions to have the drain cleaned out. Ron arrived on time and was very pleasant and professional. He asked questions and we discussed my specific situation before a proper course of action was determined. Instead of immediately cleaning out my drain pipes Ron used his camera system to check the drains and the drain system was clear. Therefore, the drains did not need cleaned, thus saving me money. He also took the time to check my sump pump and discharge pipe, which were in working order. This course of action helped me eliminate those areas as a source of my water problem. All of the equipment Ron used, from his truck to the camera system were clean and presentable. Ron even put a pad down where he was working to avoid getting dirt/debris on the floor. Whether residential or business, if you have a problem with a drain or water getting in make your first call to Smith Drain Solutions.

    I called Smith Drain Solutions to locate a septic tank that I was unable to locate with a probe. Ron was very professional and explained the process using his camera/video equipment (which also enabled me to watch the process). Success ! He verified the location in the yard with a probe and marked it. It was a hot/humid, 90+ degree day but he offered, and dug, a shovel wide hole until hitting the tank lid to further confirm the location. I recommend him for any of the services he provides.

    One on my rental properties in Oxford PA had a clogged toilet, which turned into a clogged pipe. After the visit of one plumber who was unable to fix the problem (although still charged me $155...). Next came Roto-Rooter and all I can say about them is: DONT CALL THEM. At last a plumber recommended that I contact Smith Drain Solutions. Ron came the next day. He was extremely professional and efficient and FIXED the problem by using the proper equipment. The woman who answered, was incredibly kind and I could tell she genuinely wanted to get me some help. I explained I waited for another company the day prior and heard nothing from them and explained how we were not able to run any water in the entire house or it began to back up. She said they had a full schedule but would see what she could do. She called me back within 10 mins and told me someone would be out by noon (it was about 11:30ish). I thanked her many times!And one of the best parts you ask.....they were actually here by 12!!!! When does that ever happen, u get quoted a time not even a time frame and they were here when they said they would be! AMAZING!Ron and Jacob immediately got to work and kept me up to speed every step of the way. The outlook wasnt so great at first (at no fault to them of course) but they stuck with it to try and resolve the problem. Fast forward to they found the cause of the problems and offered me options to resolve it. No pressure, no up selling etc. they had little information to go on and me the stupid homeowner didnt even know if I had a clean out or not.The problem required accessing the main line to be snaked via the toilet, all the through the main sewer line from my house and toward town services and SCORE!!!! they found my partially buried clean out and in the end i elected for the jetting to get it all completely cleared and lastly they reset the toilet. All of this in about 2 hrs and 20 mins.I could go on and on but....at the end of the day if it wasnt for their professionalism, tenacity, respect for people and my home, their quality of work, cleanliness and being equipped with the proper equipment, I would prob still be waiting to be able to shower.So....HUGE THANKS to Ron, Jacob and Rons lovely wife for helping a desperate clueless single mom in need!!!
