    Gold Star is AMAZING! They show up on time and as scheduled, and they do GREAT work. AND, unlike too many others, theyre not afraid of the harder types of jobs. Fixed two different problems in my 4 PVC drain stack that no one else wanted to touch, and did the work for a fair price. They were also willing to install a new vanity top, a job a lot of plumbers wont touch either. THANK YOU!

    Gold Standard Plumbing is top-notch! Steven replaced my hot water heater today and was incredibly thorough in explaining the process , ensuring that I understood everything.     We had old galvanized pipes throughout our house that leaked like crazy and made our water rusty. Steve and his team cut out & removed all the old pipes and replaced the waterlines in the whole house. He also replaced & frostproofed our outside hose bib, replaced the shower handle, and installed a hot water recirculating pump at the water heater - we now don’t wait more than 7 seconds anywhere in the house for hot water! He was on time, courteous, & professional. His prices are fair, the quality is excellent, and he added some extra touches like replacing & fixing the hot water heater expansion tank another plumber rigged up and gave us easily accessible valves for every water line. He got the work done in the promised timeline and we are very pleased with the workmanship. I highly recommend Gold Star Plumbing and will continue to call them for any future plumbing needs.Update 2023: Part of the outdoor hose bib Steve replaced last fall had a defective part and started leaking. He came out and replaced it free of charge. Steve stands by his work.We had a leak in our hot water heater flooding out our basement (installed by another company and still under warranty). Steve came out right away and had a replacement water heater installed that evening. He took care of sending back the old one for the warranty for us.

    Gold Star is such a great local service provider! I called with a days notice of my sink leaking, and they were so professional in scheduling the earliest appointment for me and communicating. Tim came right in and knew exactly what needed to be fixed and had all set in his truck ready to go. He was quick, efficient, and super friendly. It was also extremely reasonable.     Tim, is the best plumber I’ve ever met. I called Gold Star Plumbing around 4pm for an estimate because another company was completely gauging me with a ridiculous price. They, answered & within an hour, Tim came out , checked the problem, went to two stores to get the parts & returned. He, did the job that night. My, own HVAC/Plumbing company wanted me to wait 4-5 days for a basic hose to be ordered before coming back. Tim, goes above & beyond. Also, they give a police & military discount which is great.     Steven installed a new faucet, garbage disposal, and instant hot dispenser for our kitchen sink. He provided us with excellent service from start to finish, all at a reasonable cost.     Update: Steven recently tackled a very tough kitchen drain clog for us. His patience and attention to detail continues to shine. With his expertise, determination, and great equipment, he was able to completely clean out the entire line that went under the house and out to the main.     Surprise, water heater leaking this morning. Called Gold Star based on recommendation from a friend. From the initial phone call for help, received texts with status of arrival of Steven (plumber). He was local, so he arrived within an hour. Confidently determined the problem, provided immediate solution options (2), provided pricing and explanation of options, answered all our questions and concerns. There were no incidental costs or add ons. We picked our option and Steven went to get the water heater, he returned and did the complete installation.     Steve and his team at Gold Star Plumbing helped us with re-piping our VERY old home. We had old galvanized plumbing that gave us brown water, low water pressure and leaks everywhere. We measured how long it took to get hot water to our sinks, shower and tub not with a watch, but with a calendar.Steve assessed our needs, gave us a fair price and great schedule for completing the work. After starting the work, he found a cracked sewer line and a stunning amount of shoddy craftsmanship from years of fixes. He had to deal with a difficult ceiling through which he had to run drain lines - but he had an amazing attitude through it all and assured us he would get everything done for us. He was also able to make several recommendations to us that enabled us to save money without sacrificing the quality of the installations and repairs.With some small adjustments in the schedule and fee to deal with the new items that were discovered Steve kept to his schedule, and even stayed late and called in extra hands to help in order to do so.We now have hot water in a matter of seconds throughout the house, no leaks, shut-off valves that work, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing the job was done RIGHT.As an architect, I know how difficult it can be to find people who will do quality work on your home at a fair price and in a reasonable time frame. Steve worked on our home like it was his own - and you really cant ask for more than that.We will DEFINITELY use Gold Star Plumbing again - and I highly recommend them to anyone - whether a large re-piping job like we had, or a small toilet repair.     HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Steven and his apprentice did an amazing job replacing my downstairs tubs waste and overflow problem. My house is on a concrete slab so this replacement was not easy but Steven not only gave me a very reasonable quote, he let me know of all the things that could go wrong given the age of the house/pipes (70 years old in a few months) and provided me with the worst case scenario quote so that nothing was a surprise. Anyone trying to rush through this job would have resulted in the worst case scenario easily and I appreciated that Steven and his apprentice took the time with the right tools to prevent bigger issues.     Steve and Matt were great in fixing a water leak in our water meter valves. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and transparent about the damage and solution. They wore boot covers in the house, gave an estimate on the spot, and explained thoroughly.     Water heater broke on Friday of holiday weekend, Goldstar set up appointment for Saturday morning. They gave me three options for replacement and explained each. Technician arrived by 8:15 AM with new heater and completed work within 2 hours. Technician wore booties and spread drop clothes to avoid any damage from movement of heater. Upon completion, tech explain in detail heater operation, valves, and warranties. Tech was honest, polite, and pleasant to deal with.     Stevens customer service and quality of work are unrivaled. We had Steven upgrade our existing sump pump systems and he was a clear and effective communicator throughout the process. He took the time to explain all aspects of his planned work during the estimate process and provided a timely estimate for the plan to complete the work. While onsite, he worked through several complications from the previous installation of the 15+ year old systems and was meticulous in resolving these issues so that we have complete peace of mind.     I cant say enough positive things about Steve at Gold Star. He came early, correctly diagnosed the problem that others had missed, and corrected the problem by repiping my drain. He was extremely diligent about maintaining cleanliness, initially using booties, and then placing dropcloths throughout the house. And I found his pricing very reasonable.
