    Cant recommend Drain Wizard enough! We asked for a quote on removing our garbage disposal and got an email appointment notification immediately after the call. Very organized!Rob and James were very professional, called ahead, arrived on time, and were very friendly. They both were courteous and used shoe covers when entering the house. They were able to estimate the fix at a reasonable price, bring parts from their truck and finished the job at the quoted price in under an hour. Will definitely call them again!

    Robert installed a new faucet and reverse osmosis system in our kitchen. Also removed an old garbage disposal. He did an amazing job at a really reasonable price. Super nice guy too. Glad we finally found a reliable and honest plumber we can keep using in the future.

    Robert and James worked magic on our leaking older tub faucet. They were professional, checking out what they’d need and then returning promptly to compete the repair. They were kind and considerate- they used shoe covers to keep our house clean, and were patient with two small kiddos observing. They even texted several days later to make sure the leak stayed fixed! Wow! We’ll definitely call them for future jobs.

    Rob & his partner came to help me find a leak that was possibly badly repaired previously and leaking into my downstairs kitchen! They were on time, prepared and looked at all possibilities.     The guys at Drain Wizard Plumbing are the best, and I will definitely be referring everyone I know to them!I discovered water leaking from my bath tub into my scary crawl space. I filed a claim with my big name home warranty company, but their vendor refused to actually look at anything and wanted to overcharge me to put in a new access panel before making any diagnosis.I decided to call Drain Wizard. Scheduling was fast and easy, and they offered a next day appointment. The guys came early, diagnosed the problem as a rusted and broken waste/overflow pipe right away (without needing to install a new access panel), and installed a new pipe for my tub the same day. They were extremely competent, friendly, responsive, and punctual.Thank you so much Drain Wizard!

    Normally, I don’t leave reviews but I’m so pleased with Rob and James that I want everyone to know they are phenomenal at what they do. After having two other plumbers, investigate the source of the problem and not being able to find it, Rob and James never gave up until the issue was resolved.     I had a serious leak in pipes under kitchen sink, leading to my dishwasher. It was an emergency and Rob showed up in an hour after my urgent call. He and his assistant worked quickly, professionally and installed three new shut-off valves and repaired pipes. His work was excellent and he gave me a price quote before he started the job and told me there would be no extras. I really like fixed price quotes, especially when I think they are fair as in this case. Besides being very professional, I really liked Rob and his associate and would recommend them very highly to anyone.

    I needed to finally just replace the cast iron waste line in my 95 year old house after years of patching and snaking out the clogs. My previous plumber went missing; Drain Wizard was recommended by strangers on the internet. Everything about Robert is professional and a pleasure to work with. Promptly returns calls, shows up when promised, and does a great job. He and his crew replaced the tangled mess of pipes with a nice clean run of pipe in my basement which is much more attractively placed. Robert and his crew are really nice guys; I promised him a review and Im sorry Im just getting around to writing one. I was reminded when I saw the Drain Wizard van buzz by today. If you live in an old rickety house, its great for your peace of mind to know that you have dependable trade guys like Robert to count on.

    The Drain Wizard was amazing! I have a radiator that needed a bleeder valve replaced as it had rusted out. The company came highly recommended on a Facebook group I belong to so I called Rob who scheduled a visit a few days after. Upon arriving at the house, he and LJ were masked-up and put on shoe booties. After showing them the valve, we looked at the boiler in the basement. He was able to quickly diagnose a few issues with the boiler that he recommended I address before continuing with the bleeder valve. I told him that we have a coverage plan with our heating oil company and that I would contact them first and call Rob back for the valve. As it turns out, the heating company was able to also replace the bleeder valve so I did not need Robs services. When I contacted Rob after, I offered to pay Rob for his visit because I know time is money. Rob said no worries and to keep him mind for future pluming needs. That is what I call honesty and a true gentleman. There is no doubt I will call again.

    I called Rob to repair--or replace--an old model Mansfield toilet. The fill valve was broken. He responded to my call and text promptly; booked me on his schedule the next day; called to confirm his arrival: and did a brilliant job. He rebuilt the toilet--replacing the malfunctioning fill valve and updating other parts. He also cleaned out the water tank. The toilet works like new! I appreciated Robs punctuality, his thoroughness, and professionalism. He charges a fair price--the quality of his work is worth it.

    Robert is absolutely amazing! First and foremost, he answers the phone and responds via text very quickly. He also let me know he was on his way which was great. I had tree roots in my sewer line that stopped up my whole system. He worked outside tirelessly for 2 hours in 24 degree weather to free the line and get it flowing again. His charges are also super reasonable. Great value for great quality work! I will definitely give Robert all my business and recommend him whenever I can.

    These two guys were fantastic. We had them repair a pipe in our basement before a home inspection when selling our house and they were both professional, prompt, and knowledgable of the issue. The job was completed in a timely manner all while keeping COVID guidelines in mind. They were extremely reasonably priced, so much so that when we closed on our new house, they were the first ones we called to do a few minor repairs. Again, willing to work with our timeline, even coming out on a Saturday to complete a job. If anything else pops up in the future (as usually does in new homes), we will definitely be calling these gentlemen.

    Rob and his team are amazing!!!! I am so happy I found them. My two year old found it funny to flush my deodorant down the toilet since his sister had joked that she had done it the day before. They are so responsive, and scheduled our service before anyone else even called back. We had returned home from vacation to find a toilet (the only one in our apartment) in need of replacement, so were of course feeling the urgency.     I highly recommend Drain Wizard for any plumbing need big or small. I have struggled to find a reputable plumber in this area for some time now, as most plumbers either dont return calls or have spotty reputations. From reading online reviews, I went with Drain Wizard to install a toilet and do some other significant pipe replacement. They were friendly, on-time, and their fee was more than reasonable. Watching Rob and LJ work, I could tell they were craftsmen at heart, only being satisfied until everything met their high standards. I have a feeling that no job would be too big for them, and as most of us in New Haven county live in pre-war homes, they have most likely seen, and fixed it all! I will be calling them again in the future and will pass along their number to any of my friends and coworkers that need plumbing work done right!
