Thompson and Thompson provided excellent service. My hot water heater went out on a Sunday. They had a technician come to address the issue on Sunday evening. Danny did a great job of explaining the issue and recommended replacing the 20 year old hot water heater. He went over several options and explained the process for replacement. The following day, Jaden and Preston arrived to replace the heater. They were polite and efficient. My new heater was installed they took the old one away and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them.

She was competent in all aspects of my gas heater and outdoor unit and answered all my questions and enlightened me on a few things having to do with hvac. My air conditioner was not keeping the house cool. I called Thompson and Thompson to schedule an appointment. They scheduled me within a week. My A/C was leaking Freon and the coils were rusted and leaking. Since my system is 16 years old, it has the old type of Freon. This type of Freon is $300 a pound. My system was 3 lbs. low, I decided I would save the $900 for a new system.The appointment was easy to schedule. The installation team arrived as scheduled. Our technicians were RJ and TJ. They were very friendly and polite. Before starting work, they explained everything about the AC installation and answered all my questions. Their knowledge and professionalism were impressive. I also received photos of the damaged area along with the explanation of the damage. When they started work, they rolled out the red carpet. The carpet is used to prevent damage to my floors.They split up to maximize their efforts. They kept me updated on their progress. They were careful not to damage my walls when moving the old A/C out and bring in the new one. The removal and installation was complete in 9 hours. Once they finished, RJ and TJ cleaned up their work areas and removed their tools. We sat down at the table and discussed the issues and options.After our discussion and my decision, they provided all of the information we discussed in writing or photo. The entire process was easy from start to finish. Thompson and Thompson have high quality staff and technicians that are friendly and ready to help. I’m happy with my choice.

Excellent service. Mr. Walter was outstanding. He was on time and called me ahead of time to let me know when he would be there. Service was done quickly and I was given a great explanation of what happened and the fix that was performed. I had no power to my outside small breaker that services my carport, pool pump, and bathroom. It was quickly fixed and some additional help was given to me regarding my pool pump timer which was shorting. Thanks so much Mr. Walter!

My AC went out on 4 May and its been really hot inside my home here in Savannah, Ga. I spoke with 3 other companies to have my AC repaired only to have them make me wait to even get a date for them to come out and take a look at it. I called Thompson & Thompson on 17 May and they sent their representative out the next day!! The gentleman that came out was named Justin and he was very professional and explained everything that he was doing, so that made me feel comfortable. He diagnosed the problem, quoted me a price (which was very reasonable), and had parts on hand to fix the problem on the spot!! Id most definitely use Thompson & Thompson again!!

Theres not enough time in the day to explain how professional courteous prompt caring informative the team members of this company are . starting with Mr Steven wolf whom I thought made this whole experience very comfortable from start to finish. I failed to remember the two technicians that came out to install the unit. Johnathan from Thompson And Thompson came out to my house. He was early ahead of his appointment time which was great. He inspected my heat pump. He listened to all of the concerns and troubleshooting that I had already done and he helped me diagnose the problem after he talked me through what was wrong. He identified some additional issues that we had from the previous install from the previous owner of our house and he explained how we needed to correct our deficiencies and then he set up the process for us to get a new heat pump installed, I couldn’t be happier. Mr. Delgado was Amazing!!! Our water stop getting hot right before we had family coming in from out of town for our daughters graduation. A friend shared Thompson and Thompson did a great job on her repair so I gave them a call. Terry (our technician) came out ran diagnostics, informed us we needed a new hot water heater and replaced it all in one day. I work from home so he was polite, respectful and quiet as he did the replacement. I was beyond impressed and will gladly recommend Thompson & Thompson for your hvac, plumbing and electrical needs.

I sent a phone message in response to your inquiry but I will try to repeat it here.Your representative, Adam, performed very well. He could not have done better. He notified me when he was 1/2 hour from arrival. The job site was clear for his viewing. He made a quick assessment of what needed to be done. He made one trip to his vehicle for tools and parts. He showed me quickly what he had done and was on his way.I was left with the impression that he was very skilled, very efficient, and was trustworthy and were he a neighbor he would be a good one.

Thompson and Thompson did great job detecting water leak under the driveway extension, broke the needed slab area, fixed the leak and then concrete the area back. Only thing that I didn’t like is the fixing area went couple of inches above the original plumbing, that make cause the leak happened again if we experience the similar extreme low winter like in 2022 (below 20F).Otherwise I like their professionalism and customer care.Before using I called Canady’s, they came dig the mud and charged me $241.76 without finding the leak.I will highly recommend Thompson and Thompson for plumbing.

After getting the run around from another company (miscommunication on their end/being stood up for appointments, ect.), we found Thompson & Thompson Service Group. There werent any openings for a few days, but ours wasnt an emergency (which we specified to them) so it wasnt a problem.On the day of our appointment, we were given a 1-5 pm time frame. At 1 pm, we received a call updating us that the tech was running behind, and would arrive around 2 (which was still in our given appointment time frame, so he wasnt even late). After our experience with the previous company, I was THRILLED at the simple communication/update from Thompson & Thompson. It was nice to not be kept waiting, wondering if we would be stood up again.Johnny arrived when expected, and was very professional and friendly. He found the problem with our AC in roughly 15 minutes. He was very thorough, finding not only the main problem, but other problems that could cause future troubles for us. The price of the service was reasonable, and I highly recommend Johnny as a tech.

Zach Sandler and a new manager who was observing came to my home on time to see why my kitchen fan was not working. I was a bit perturbed since it had just been fixed about six months ago. Guess what! He immediately saw that the wall switch, which I never use, had been turned off! Although I deserved the stupid customer of the day award, they never made me feel that way, were friendly and kind, and were on their way in five minutes. I had to laugh, and I was just so relieved I didnt even get mad with myself. Highly recommended!

He was very professional. While he was not able to get under my house, he reported back to the office so they would send someone the next day. I was very pleased. The plumbers that can and fixed my problem was Robert Graff, Corey, and Mike. Robert was able to go underneath my house to fix the problems. There was very little space under my house. Robert, Corey, and Mike stayed until 8:00 PM and the job was finished. Robert and Corey did not stop for lunch. They are truly dedicated to their job. These young men deserve a raise in my opinion.

I found out that my main water line had been cracked at 3:00 p.m. today. No thanks to the water company but my neighbor was able to give me a call and let me know that they had turned my water off. I called around frantically to find someone that could fix it. Thompson and Thompson was the only company that had an emergency plumber and availability. Im glad I found them. They were incredibly professional, calm when I wasnt, and the plumber couldnt have been more polite. Its 6:36 p.m. and I have my water back. Worth every penny. Cannot recommend them enough.

One of the best customer service experiences have recently had. The main water line into the house was leaking badly on a Saturday. The timing couldnt have been worse. Called and got amazing help from Casey at customer service who made the appointment easily and quickly. She was friendly, informative and helpful. When I thanked her for her great service she humbly downplayed her role as just being someone who answers the phone and makes appointments and she was extremely grateful for the compliment, which was so refreshing. Joe Cushman was our technician and he was fantastic. Showed up within 10-15 minutes of my making the appointment, completed the repair quickly and correctly, explained everything he had done and answered my questions in a clear and straightforward manner. What I thought was going to be an entire weekend without water in our house ended up with us having our water off for only about 2-3 hours. And while I expected the bill to be a disaster, especially given that it was emergency service on a weekend, it did not turn out that way. While not cheap it was far less pain than I expected, especially for a leaking...actually spraying...main water line. Thompson and Thompson is highly recommended.

June ‘24 Update: Olivia responded to our service request on one of our AC units. She called and arrived ahead of schedule. At first I was concerned about her youthful appearance but she immediately impressed me with her confidence and professional demeanor. she was thorough and efficient, explained what was wrong, and had us up and cooling again very quickly. i was very impressed with her skill and Thompson’s rapid response.sept., ‘23 update. in addition to our initial engagement with Thompson & Thompson described below, we recently used them for a plumbing issue. Allen Davis arrived on time and spent a lot of time trying to get the replacement parts sent from the faucet manufacturer to work. When things didnt work perfectly he agreed to come back without additional charge if/when the manufacturer provides all the correct parts. Once the correct parts arrived, Allen followed through to complete the installation. i am very satisfied with this plumbing repair by Allen Davis with T&T.We had a repeating problem with a digital thermostat disconnecting from the A/C system. it was not an emergency but I called on a Sunday and Jonathan showed up as scheduled, the next day. He thoroughly tested all connections and determined the problem. He had us up and running in minutes. He then took the time to point out some potential enhancements to both our systems and quickly corrected some sloppy work left by our previous vendor. He sold us the installation of one missing element and explained the benefits of an annual agreement. Bottom line, our service was timely, fairly priced and professionally done. Excellent!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! We called Thompson and Thompson for a very short notice job and Sean came out to give us a quote. He was very nice, respectful and knowledgeable. They gave us an amazing deal on a completely new duct system and HVAC installation. They were able to schedule the service 2 days later. Robert & Cream showed up at 8:30am and stayed until 7pm to finish the entire job! They were amazing and even got some old stuff out of the attic for us and brought it to the curb. Had them back to check on toilet seating. They call in advance. They provide courteous service.I really like them. Highly recommend for anyone renting a place that cannot be there to inspect.This is an update. I expressed my concern and they reacted professionally and politely.They sent another person to review the work and they totally revamped the plumbing under the sink. They left zero mess. Jay was exceptional. This company really stands out, backs the work they do.Original text - I have been using TNT for a few years now. I generally like their professionalism. However, I recently called to have new trap installed under the sink and shower drain cleared. They couldnt get to me until the next day, which is fine. Im not on the premise so I am subject to their pricing. I pay $30/mo as a retainer. For the hour and half that it took Milton to clear the shower drain and replace/tighten the trap under the sink they billed me over $500. I had to ask for the discount, which ALL other servicemen added automatically. I was told, ya I can do that. While I have had no issues with the quality, Im confused as to how they can say reasonable prices. I may have to look elsewhere for a plumbing service. I also called to ask about the rates and was redirected back to Milton, who did not return the call. The bill simply stated snake the drain, 250+ and repair sink trap 250+. I simply feel like they have taken advantage of me at this point.

Please read this entire review because it relates to three experiences I have had with Thompson and Thompson Service Group.This recent visit was the third visit, and it relates to the second visit described below. The crew that installed my mothers HVAC the day before noticed an electrical line that been cut by a cutting tool. The installer immediately notified me about this. At first my 88-year-old mother, who owns the house, could not explain or recall anything about it. That night, she recalled that there was a lot of smoke coming into the house from the attic eleven years ago. The fire department came, went into the attic and used an ax to cut the cable to secure power to the air handler. The fireman did not open the breaker to secure power to the live cable. So, for eleven years, this live cable was there. Apparently, the HVAC contractor who replaced the entire HVAC, noticed that the existing power supply was cut and ran a new power cable to the air handler. That contractor did not notify my mother about and apparently did not test the cable to determine if it was live and dangerous.However, Thompson and Thimpson was not satisfied with the setup, and they sent one of their electrical crews to remove the cut cable and run new cable(s) to ensure that the power supply to both the air handler in the attic and the condenser outside of the house were properly wired for electrical power. The crew worked non-stop and corrected the problem in a timely and very professional manner. They were very courteous and explained exactly what was required and what the did.This was the second time I have dealt with Thompson and Thompson Service Group. In 2022, they conducted a very complicated diagnosis of an HVAC in a house that I was renting at the time. My house was not cooling properly. Their technician checked nearly everything and could not pin down the problem. Finally he opened the air handler and discovered another company had replaced the evaporator coil with one from a different model that used a different refrigerant (R-410A), which made the evaporator was way too small to handle R-22 Freon refrigerant.On this resent visit, the blower motor had failed in my mothers house. Because the HVAC was more than eleven years old, the technician recommended my mother have one of Tranes better HVACs installed. He recommended that we have a three-ton unit installed rather than a 3.5 ton unit like the one currently installed. He said the Trane system will run longer but much more efficiently. By running longer more moist air would pass over the evaporator coil and therefore, more moisture would be removed from the air, which will lower the homes humidity. That would solve the problem my mother had with the old HVAC. Not enough air was passing over the evaporator coil, which allowed the homes humidity to remain uncomfortably high. This caused her to keep the temperature lower than necessary. What she now has is a system that will better control the humidity, make her feel better, and all of this at a potential savings of up to 40% on her electric bill.The technicians who installed the HVAC were very efficient, obviously quite experience, and totally professional and personable. They were able to answer my many questions about how the sofisticated HVAC would operate, and they helped me program the thermostat to my smartphone.Perhaps the most important thing the technicians did is that they discovered that an important power cable had been cut by someone with a cutting tool. This made it impossible for the system heat pump to be activated. The company manager advised me that he would send an electrician out the next morning to not only replace the cable for free, but also to try to determine why anyone would cut an electrified power cable. Essentially, this presented a fire hazard ever since the cable was cut. My 88-year-old mother is pleased with what she has purchased and confident she paid a fair price. What more could one ask for. Five stars and two thumbs up, T&T!

First, I had a plumbing inspection done and they thoroughly explained to me exactly what they were looking for and educated me about something I did not know could be harmful for my plumbing. I stumbled across this company by accident. I was in The home Depot and was approached about a reduced price for an AC tune up. Within days of this service I discovered a plumbing leak. I contacted the company and they promptly scheduled a service. The technicians came and out before cutting my sheetrock they asked if Id like a third party leak detection specialist. They even gave me an estimate of what they thought it would cost. They were spot on with the price as it was $10 cheaper than what they quoted. It took this specialist two and a half hours to find a small leak in a copper pipe. I received a quote for a little over $1,300 for the repair. When the work was completed it cost a little over a thousand. All aspect of this company was professional from the first call to the communication before the job, during the job and after the job. The guy overseeing my plumbing issue Tim Lewis was extremely friendly and professional. I dont know the person working with Tim. but he was fast efficient professional and thorough. The company will be my go-to for any home repairs that they offer. I highly recommend them. In a world where customer service is lacking Thompson and Thompson brings customer service and professionalism to new levels. I highly recommend this company. Other plumbing companies that are reputable turned me down and would not help me despite agreeing to whatever cost it took. In the end they charged us a reasonable price considering the extensive work that they performed, and Mike made absolutely certain that he treated my home like his own and wanted to do everything the right way. They removed the leaf debris from the condenser and then washed it with soap and water. The air handler in the attic was checked and the drain serviced. The wiring in the condenser was checked for excessive power consumption. Chris showed me pictures of all his work and explained what was done and what future problems might arise. They call in advance and arrived on time.

Robbie McCullough was at my home, to check on a dehumidifier that two of your men recently installed. I have service charges for $2,294 on 3/7 and on 3/21, so I am not sure which one applied to the dehumidifier.Nevertheless, Robbie discovered that the dehumidifier has never run, since its installation. I think it’s disgraceful that you sent two people out, giving the impression that they knew what they were doing. It is extremely important to me that the dehumidifier be doing its job daily!I have been pleased with work done by Comfort Air, and will take nothing less than the knowledge and skill I’ve experienced from Robbie, for years. The office was friendly and efficient.Rob and Terry came out to replace our water heater and install a whole house filter system (along with another technician later who assisted). Shaun C. repaired and cleaned the heating motor on my HVAC unit. I am extremely pleased with the service. I contacted T&T for a second opinion regarding repairs needed to my unit. Shaun found that the motor was actually working, which the other company wanted to replace with a cheaper, off the truck motor, but badly needed to be cleaned. Shaun kept me informed of the issues with the motor as he was doing the assessment and repairs and found that my unit was working properly after the motor was cleaned out. I avoided getting a cheap replacement motor and potentially other charges by getting a second opinion from T&T and having T&T do the work.
