After contacting several electrical companies without much success, I came across Reid Electric, and their 5-star reviews are well-deserved. I had an issue with my hot water heater not receiving power. Jerry arrived on time, quickly identified that the breaker outside the home had tripped, and reset it. While it initially seemed the problem was resolved, the breaker tripped again shortly after he left.I called Jerry the next morning, and he returned within the hour to diagnose and fix the root cause of the issue. His professionalism, promptness, and expertise were exceptional. I highly recommend Reid Electric to anyone in need of a skilled and trustworthy electrician.

100% will use Reid Electric again. He was quick to come out when I had an issue of 3 rooms losing lighting. He fixed the issue. Came out for something my husband and he missed and didn’t charge to fix either. It was an easy miss being the middle of the day and not realizing a light was on on the corner of the house. Three years ago I called Reid Electric looking for electrical help with a small project, not knowing who I was calling. Since then, this company has become a trusted friend. This company is professional, honest, and does good old fashioned quality work with attention to detail, care, and know how. Jobs are quoted and performed as promised. He made time for us the same day we called after a tornado blew out some breakers in June. Absolutely the best experience you can ask for from Reid Electric! Jerry is very personable and offers sound advice while providing excellent service. During a recent install the fixtures/fans the quality of fan I had purchased was subpar and this wasnt noticed until Jerry had completed installing the 1st fan. He removed the fan, offered me advice on the best brand to buy that wouldnt break the bank. I was able to run to the store while he was still on site and get what was needed to complete my job without having to reschedule.

Just bought my first home and during our home inspection found that our electrical panel was an old Federal Pacific Stab Lock Panel, which are documented to be very unsafe and a real fire hazard (the company was put out of business because they falsified safety data with their panels). Reid Electric came out and did an estimate and was so pleasant during his visit. I subsequently used his services to replace the electrical panel. On our service date, Reid Electric was on-time and did a great job replacing the panel. He was, again, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and overall an excellent electrician (my father is an electrical engineer, so I have some idea of what an electrician should know/do, though not anywhere near Jerry’s expertise). I definitely would recommend Reid Electric to anyone and will use him in the future for my electrical needs. Thanks Jerry!

Update: Reid Electric does it again!! I called them out to install a ceiling fan in another room and I wanted to tell you again, how awesome this company is. They are professional, and quick. Fan was installed in no time. He even took a look at one the fans that a different company installed. Dont hesitate...let Reid get it done for you!!5 star service!! Im new to the area, so I used an online app to generate a few quotes for ceiling fan installation. Mr. Reid responded in a matter of minutes and was available to complete the service the following day. Im big on professionalism and thats exactly what Reid Electric delivers. Ill definitely use them again and I recommend that you use them as well.

Hit a road block while working on a DIY installation project. Called Jerry for some professional help. He came to the house exactly when he said he would, was very responsive, and incredibly personable and professional. He walked through the project and identified the issue quickly, and explained in detail how I could fix it. He even came back to the house a second time when I was having a problem implementing this plan, and identified a prexisting defect in the wiring and how I could correct it. Reid Electric is a very reputable business. Jerry is professional with very high quality standards. He replaced 5 exterior light fixtures around our home. He arrived on time and completed the work within 1.5 hours. We will continue to call Jerry for any electrical projects that we have at our home.

Had a serious issue with my dryer cord that arced & sparked and he came out the next morning and took care of the issue as well as left to find a piece that was missing and came back after work to fix. He even fixed my dryer plug in that was wobbling around and ran my dryer for a few minutes to make sure everything was ok and not dangerous. Very friendly, courteous and professional. Would highly recommend!!!

We had an issue with our refrigerator tripping the breaker repeatedly after a holiday weekend. We weren’t sure if we needed an appliance repair or electrician. We called Reid Electric and Jerry squeezed us in for a same day visit. He returned the following day with the new breaker and outlet. A few days after the work, I had a list of questions to help pinpoint the issue and Jerry was patient and kind enough to take the time to re-explain everything that was going on from his standpoint. It turned out we had a two-pronged issue and the main culprit was the refrigerator. We were very pleased with Jerry’s service and kindness and would use Reid again if we need any electrical help.

Something strang was going on in our home. Our guest bedrooms light and outlets would stop working, then, own their own, start working again. The outlet in the second bedroom would stop working and start again as well. I was thinking I had a bad breaker in the panel box. I replaced it, did not fix the problem. Jerry Reid is professional, fairly priced, and goes above and beyond. He was recommended Pride Pools for the electrical work for a hot tub we were installing a couple of years ago. He did an excellent job running the wiring and working with us to help our backyard vision come true. Fast forward two years and we had our hot tub circuit blow during a surge, Jerry came out same day in unpleasant weather to get us back up and running.
