    I wanted a whole house generator to provide electricity when we lost power. I researched companies that sold and installed generators but, while I could read about them I really didn’t know about them. A good friend told me about Coastal Power & Gas, one of his family members (whom I also know) had used them to install a whole house generator and they were very pleased with the outstanding communication, the fast and professional installation and the quick follow-through when they had questions about the generator. I gave Coastal Power & Gas a call and I’m so thankful that I did. They sent a representative to my house to review my needs and that was quick and painless. The representative recommended the correct size generator I would need for my house and that was it. A crew came and installed my generator in one day, they were very professional, polite and willing to answer any questions I had. Since then, anytime I have had a question (even on weekends) their response has always been within minutes. I live in an area that was hit by Hurricane Helene and we lost power for over 48 hours. The generator automatically started providing electricity within seconds of the outage and ran flawlessly the entire time we were without power. When the power came back on, the generator powered off, I didn’t have to do anything, the generator started and stopped automatically. This generator was a Godsend, many thanks to the great folks at Coastal Power & Gas!

    Very happy with Austin and the team from Coastal Power & Gas! I recently purchased a home with a 1-year old GENERAC full-house generator. As a first-time generator owner, Austin has been super helpful explaining all operations and maintenance. In addition, Coastal Power & Gas technician Jerry performed semi-annual maintenance earlier this month. Jerry was AWESOME! He showed me hands-on every step of the maintenance process and answered all my newbie questions in-depth! I look forward to working with Austin and Jerry going forward!

    I would recommend Coastal Power and Gas to anyone looking to install a whole house generator. Austin and his crew are very professional and easy to work with. If there was an issue with the crew running behind, I was always notified. They left a very clean area at the end of each day and always gave plenty of notice for any power interruption. Now that we are up and running, I hope I never need to use it for a hurricane.

    Great company and very prompt service. We decided it was time for a generator and Coastal Power and Gas exceeded our expectations. Within a month of installation the power went out and the generator went on, so that was a big win for us. But also the customer service is great with this company, and they responded to texts (questions) very quickly and kept their word every time. Highly recommend!

    Very responsive, super professional, quick resolution, good price. Another company installed my generator and after only 2 years it had a problem. Contacted Coastal Power & Gas as authorized Generac service provider and they came out right away and diagnosed the issue as corroded connections due to improperly sealed junction box from original installation. Gave me a reasonable quote and came out the very next day to do the work. Did a very nice job, working until nearly 8PM to get it wrapped up, cleaned up their mess, made sure they closed gates behind them, all in all, great professional service. When presented with the bill, Austin said they were able to reuse the junction box and get it properly sealed, so he knocked $300 off. And, my generator works perfectly. So glad I found these guys. Definitely know who Ill be reaching out to for warranty service!

    Austin did a fantastic job redoing our two breaker boxes. The man was extremely polite and patient with us and even played with our dogs.He came back when we thought a breaker was faulty. The breaker turned out to be alright when he tested it.So instead of just telling us it was fine, he went the extra step.He investigated the wiring to that room and turns out the updated breakers were letting us know a ground wire was on a live wire.He really is the go to man. Five stars.

    Mr. Reese did an incredible install for me. He installed a 20KW Cummins generator on my house. He did a a great install in a timely manner and it has been used a lot. He also has done a great job on servicing it when it is needed. We live in the middle of the woods and loose power often. I would recommend him to anyone. Give him a chance at least to provide you a quote.

    I needed a propane tank for some gas appliances we added to our home. Coastal Power installed a 250 gal propane tank for us and even coordinated the filling of the tank.
