My wife, Marilyn, and I are very happy that we chose JFrancis Builders to build our new home in the Hartness Community. We are recently retired and were uncertain whether we wanted to build again having already been through prior builds in 2 other states. From the very first meeting that we had with them, we were impressed with their communication skills. The building of our home by JFrancis Builders turned out to be a wonderful experience. The project manager was a real problem solver who was very attentive to detail and calm throughout the entire build. Communication was excellent: we were kept abreast of progress as well as having our questions and concerns answered in a timely manner and with integrity. We are very pleased with the quality of our home and recommend Jimmy Francis Builders highly.

Ken and I are so thankful for the excellent team at J Francis Builders! We started our home in Seneca on Lake Keowee just as supply chain delays and inflation hit the housing industry hard. Joe, Jimmy’s son, was our primary contact and helped us navigate the building process with patience and professionalism. The subcontractors were excellent. A shout out to Terri Charettete, the architect who works with Jimmy. She incorporated everything we asked for and made helpful adjustments as needed in our plans. We are enjoying lake views every day in our beautiful home.

They have a strong desire to build a high quality home, please the customer, and they demonstrate great integrity, and great follow-through. They had prepared so well at the completion of our home for the punch list walk-through that there was hardly anything left to do! They are a truly dedicated and knowledgeable team!

We decided to move from Ohio and retire to the Greenville area and build our third custom house. We searched for custom builders and were planning to meet with three builders. Jimmy Francis was our first stop and after spending an hour with Jimmy, we saw no need to look further. We were sold. Jimmy, his sons and their team not only made the process easy, it was fun. The attention to detail was excellent, the finished house is beautiful and exceeds our expectations. But it’s what you can’t see that also makes a difference. The foundation, electrical, plumbing, landscape drainage management and other structural components are top notch and well planned. We highly recommend J Francis Builders if you are considering a new home

We had a brief experience dealing with the project manager and Sissy. Everything on the punch list was done, weve been here less than a month and I am thrilled with quality of the materials and craftsmanship. Ive had builders who didnt check behind their guys work and didnt care if it was done correctly or not. This is by far the most well made home Ive been fortunate enough to live in. JFrancis Builders came highly recommended to us by some former clients.My husband and I have built multiple custom homes in the past and this was, by far, the BEST BUILD EVER.From choosing a subdivision and lot to designing the house all the way through the completion, things were incredibly professional and organized.There were regular meetings scheduled to go over progress/new ideas plus on site meetings as needed/requested.We were actually living out of town for most of the build but they had us covered even when it meant that they had to take up the slack for us.The entire staff seemed to be waiting to learn of anything else they could do to make the experience better.And their integrity was second to none.With JFRancis Builders, the whole process was a pleasure.They consistently met expectations but more often than not, they exceeded them.

Borrowing from our corporate world experience, when looking for a builder for our Lake Keowee house we put together a list of criteria and we essentially interviewed everyone with a website within 50 miles. We followed up with additional phone calls and decided to hire J Francis Builders. Our project just completed, we are convinced we hired the right team!J Francis Builders isn’t the only firm offering complete services, from an architect to help one frame their dream, pun intended, all the way to final landscaping… but the team at J Francis, in our view, is unparalleled at their approach to working with their customers. It’s not only the attention to every detail, from the seemingly minor things to the overall picture and budget, it’s the way we felt treated - as if we were part of the family. We couldn’t be happier with our new house built by Jimmy and his team! From design through the punch list everything was handled expertly and efficiently. Zach, is very good at handling the details of design to expenditures. He always knew where we were and how much we were spending. We could not have found a construction manager better than Jesse. No matter what came up, he was on it and handled it professionally. Kevin did a nice job with some of of our punch list items. Jimmy is probably one of the most congenial people and wants everything to go perfect for your build. We highly recommend Jimmy’s J Francis Builders!

Everything about building our dream house was made easy by Jimmy and his team. They listened to us from the start and took us to see models. We then were introduced to the architect, who implemented our suggestions. The design process was great. The lot selection worked for the best, and our new house and pool is everything we wanted. The office project manager and the production manager work seamlessly together and anticipate all contingencies! We even sold our previous house using Sissy and had great success in securing work crews to prepare it for sale! Our dream house was built in 8 months from design to move in. Jimmy and his team are the best people to work with. The quality is the very best!

J Francis Builders are an exceptional team to go with if you want to have a new home built.We were living in the state of Washington when we started the building process with J Francis Builders a year ago. It is not easy to make all the choices/decisions while living so far away from the building site, but the J Francis team (Jimmy, Joseph, Zach and others) were great to work with. Zach was our go to guy. He sent us pictures regularly, led us through the decision-making process, and would find the answers to all our questions.If we ever go through the building process again it will be with J Francis.
