The people that work in these departments are the stars that get little to no credit for the great work they do. In the last 18 months I have bought windows, siding, insulation, lumber, paint, wood and tile flooring and each time the people in these departments have treated me like Im the most important customer they had. Several times they have talked me out of buying the more expensive products and buy the less costly items. Over the time remodeling my basement into a den these people saved me at least two to three thousand dollars; thats a big deal to any DIYer no matter how much money you have. I was fairly loyal to Lowes, but now Im as loyal as a horse, or dog.
