    Had a little work needed at move in, and a bigger pipe leak in basement occured during move in. Connie helped schedule me in and was great. Ryan showed up on time and found the problem. While waiting to see if the fix worked and was solid, he fixed the other smaller plumbing issues and helped diagnose another. So grateful! Highly recommend their great services.

    John Curley is an absolute gentleman and the most professional plumber I have ever worked with. His plumbing company has been servicing the Long Island area for years and he has been working with my family and servicing our plumbing needs for over 20 years. He is attentive, professional, knowledgeable, very fair, and always makes sure that the issue is resolved in a timely manner with the utmost respect and carefulness. John was able to work around our busy schedules and completed a complex job for us very quickly and efficiently.     Needed the expansion tank on my hot water heater replaced on Christmas Eve. Ryan from Thomas Curley showed up even earlier than expected. He quickly and efficiently replaced the tank. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and neat. Very satisfied with the service received.

    I am very impressed with the quality of work Thomas Curley provides along with the communication their office has.My house is in an area that is prone to flooding and we have a sump pump in the basement along with a backup sump pump that is powered by battery. A few days ago, my battery was making a whiny noise, and google was no help telling me what was wrong so I knew I had to call a plumber. I spoke with Connie at Thomas Curley who had me make a video of the battery so she could show it to her team, and they told me they will come out to check it out. They came quickly and told me the battery was dead and needed to replaced, and I was glad to have the issue addressed and solved quickly. That could have been the end of it, but the plumber sent over, Eric, on his own initiative opened the water pit to check on the status of the pumps. I didnt think to even ask him to do it, all I asked about was the battery but he checked it out, and the water was virtually at the top of the pit! He diagnosed the pumps and it was clear neither the backup nor the main pump was even functioning. I cannot begin to explain what a disaster I would have faced had Eric not thought to check the pumps without my asking. My basement would have flooded and the damage could have been catastrophic. He showed me what the pumps should be doing and how to tell they were broken. He didnt merely say they are broken, he showed it to me, and with the water almost the top it was clear there was something majorly wrong.He told me what I needed, a new main sump pump and a new backup pump, and both he and Connie gave me their opinions on what to do. I wasnt pressured to buy anything, but advised of the pros and cons of each. The value of the main pump was unquestioned, but whether or not to go with the backup pump was what I was deciding. I elected to replace both pumps so I could have peace of mind in the event of heavy rain combined with a power outage which is not a rare event. Thomas Curley ordered all the parts for me and installed it quickly. Eric came back to do the installation and the job was done professionally and the entire work area cleaned up entirely when he was done.I am grateful to Connie and Eric specifically for their help and to Thomas Curley for a job well done.A+ and will do all my plumbing work with them going forward.

    I’ve been using this plumber service ever since I lived here as original owner, some 20 years ago. Overall I’m happy.The tech was professional and timely.My only issue was that the supplier (pls note: NOT the plumber, but their supplier) gave us the wrong part so the plumber had to go back out to get the right one, and I ended up paying for that time in transit.The best part of my experience though, honestly, was Connie who handled the phone. She got me an appointment, texted me to confirm, reconfirm, and to provide ETA. Further, after installation I found a leak but thank god Connie helped me big time in getting the plumber to come back quickly to fix it. To me, she was/is a gem.Look, I understand people’s issues through the reviews. I’m pretty sure no matter which plumber you use you’d have an issue unfortunately. Curley has been around for a long time and they do stand behind their work.So yes I’d recommend them!

    Such a good experience with Thomas Curley Plumbing. The actual service and the customer service. The people there and the installer s are very nice. I am so happy to recommend them to everyone. We had been using a previous company that was so difficult to speak with. We would have to wait approximately 25 minutes each time we would call, and it was to a call center. Our hot water heater broke a few days ago. Another company came to service it. They did not have the part with them. They told us to call the next day to see how long it would take to get the part in. We had to call three times. Each time waiting the 25 minutes on the phone to get a person. They left us with they were not sure when they could get the part we needed. We asked about a new hot water heater and they werent sure when they could have that in either. We called Thomas Curley and in a little over 12 hours later, our new hot water heater was installed. The installation guys couldnt be nicer and the lady on the phone was so nice to talk with. I highly recommend this company.

    We consulted John regarding a recurrent major plumbing issue that involved our house and our village and required a creative solution. John met us several times to review the situation and make a plan. He was professional, respectful and responsive. He performed the job with his crew in an expert manner, mapping out all gas and water lines to the house and excavating in a focused manner to minimize damage. He got this major job done in essentially one day prior to the major storm we had. We suffered minimal damage in no small part due to John’s work. We are grateful to him and I am already recommending him to colleagues and acquaintances as unfortunately there are many issues with our drainage systems in this area.We are fortunate to have placed our trust in him and his company because as a local business owner he knows all of the idiosyncrasies and history of the plumbing systems in this area. We will definitely use this company for any future plumbing needs as the integrity and professionalism witnessed first-hand is notable and more and more uncommon to find these days.

    I had a baseboard pipe burst & I was looking for someone to come fix it same day as weather was very cold and needed the heat to be running. When I called Thomas Curley Plumbing, I disclosed what problem I have with my plumbing and the very first thing I asked is if estimate is free and lady on the phone said YES. Few hours later they sent someone over who took a look and said he needs another guy with him to do the job as he cant do it himself, he didnt even give me a price. I called the office and this lady on the phone named Prima said they wont be able to do it till another two days since they are busy. I told them that I need the heat to be running and I cant wait that long without heat. I called another plumbing company who came same day and fixed the plumbing and got the heat running. A few weeks later, even when I was told by thomas curley plumbing there is no charge for estimate and for having the guys come out; I get a bill in the mail for service fee. I initially hesitated to write a bad review but I keep getting harassing calls, bills in mail, next I will file a complain to BBB if these harassment continue.
