Our gas furnace went out and Rogue Valley Heating and Air were able to come out right away. They assessed the issue and gave us options. Within 3 days we had a new furnace installed! The whole process was incredibly seamless. They were very professional, knowledgeable and the customer service was top notch. It is very rare to receive consistent and amazing customer service every step of the way. From first calling Rogue Valley and making the appointment to then meeting our first technician David, who assessed the problem right away, to our interaction with Paxton and Tyler, who made us feel so comfortable and answered all our questions when deciding which options would work best for us budget wise and what our home needs would be. And then to meeting the installation crew. Alex, Daniel and Ty were wonderful! Hard working and went above and beyond in making sure everything was perfect before leaving the house. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the service and care we received. I highly recommend calling Rogue Valley Heating and Air with any issues or questions on your heating and cooling needs.

I had such a great experience with Tony, Ty, and Joey from Rogue Valley Heating & Cooling installing my new furnace! From start to finish, they were absolutely fantastic. They treated my home with so much respect - you honestly couldnt even tell they had been there when they finished, which really impressed me.The installation turned out to be trickier than expected, and they ended up having to work much later than planned. But they never rushed or cut corners - they just focused on getting everything done right. What really stood out was that even after this long day, they still took the time to walk me through everything about the new system, making sure I understood how it all worked.These guys are true professionals who clearly take pride in their work. They were friendly, respectful, and incredibly thorough. If you need any HVAC work done, I cant recommend Tony, Ty, and Joey highly enough. They made what could have been a stressful day completely smooth and worry-free.

We called requesting an estimate for a new heat pump. Tyler the salesman showed up when expected. He was very knowledgeable of the equipment, answering all our questions. He was also able to find us a hidden discount that another company estimator didn’t.Alex D and Coby arrived at the scheduled time for the installation. They immediately got to work removing the old furnace and getting the area ready for the new one.They ran into a few issues during the day that they resolved quickly and got the system up and running. They were very friendly and professional. They kept their work area clean and made sure that they cleaned the outside area as well, making sure everything was in good working order and we understood how to use it before they packed up.Installation took a little longer than expected but they never complained and did an excellent job.I would recommend RV Heating and Air and their employees to anyone looking at installing a heat pump. 5 Stars

It failed next night, but we had a quote already for new parts install and will proceed with that.David is professional and clearly quite knowledgeable. He diagnosed very quickly. When the heat-pump compressor refused to engage on a cold evening, I had anticipated there’d be a lengthy wait for a service call, but was grateful for the unexpected, ‘next-day’ response to my call. The repairman arrived on time; located the problem quickly; had the replacement circuit board, in stock, right on the truck; and, he installed the new part efficiently. I appreciated that he took the extra time to put the machine through a couple of cycles to confirm everything is working properly. I’m confident the machinery is back in top working order, and Im comfortable in my home again.Very good.

He called enroute, arrived promptly, had an amazing attitude, explained the problems beautifully, got right to work, and got our furnace working! I usually don’t post but I have to on this one. I have been having trouble with my old diesel furnace for years. Rogue Valley heating has helped limp it along. I finally decided to put in a heat pump. Austin, Angel and Justin came to do the work. These wonderful young men did a fantastic job! I was so impressed with their knowledge, work ethic and politeness, I highly recommend Rogue Valley Heating and Air. The cost by the way was very reasonable for what they had to do. Very happy and extremely satisfied with their work!

James was awesome and I really appreciated his help. He didn’t get upset that I needed a moment to get my dogs out of the way (I have a Service Dog that isn’t comfortable with people coming in without getting some time to get to know them), which was a huge relief. He was also extremely honest about what was wrong with my A/C, and what the price would be for the replacement part. Once he changed the one part, my A/C worked perfectly.I’m so happy with the service that I received, that I subscribed to their Shield Plan, so that they’ll take care of my heat or a/c anytime that there’s an issue. They’ll also perform annual or semi-annual maintenance based on the plan you subscribe to, which is also a wonderful benefit.

I had a very pleasant experience. He offered me a couple different options. I went with the with the one with the longest warranty as this is the second time I have had to replace my capacitor. He had my AC up and running in no time. I would recommend them to anyone that needs AC or heating repair. I feel I was treated fairly on the price of the repair. Best of all He got to me the same day I called. That was very important to me as it was Friday and I didnt want to wait till Monday. Also he had the part I needed on his truck. I am very happy with all aspects of the service.

Had a capacitor go out in our ac unit and, they were able to squeeze us in that same friday. Rusty was awesome. He truly went above and beyond to get the unit back on track. Took extra time to explain everything in laymans terms and show me so I could learn as well. As a new homeowner, it was awesome that he was so personable and helpful. 10/10 would recommend. Wow! My air conditioning unit quit working last night and went on Rogue Valley’s website where I found I could schedule an appointment for the following morning. The office called first thing in the morning and within a half hour Dominique and James arrived at my home. As a retired general contractor, I know how hard it is to find good people and Dominique and James were absolutely amazing. They fixed the problem and were completed by 9 am! The pricing was more than fair and they have a service program that I purchased to assure my system continues to operate efficiently. I highly recommend Rogue Valley Heating and Air!

Wouldn’t you know it that I woke to no heat on a Saturday with the outside temperature in the 20’s and inside temperature of 57 degrees. Called in the morning and Jay came out in the afternoon and was able to diagnose the problem and installed a new igniter on my furnace and adjust the thermostat so that the dual heat switched on at 45 degrees instead of 30 degrees. Warm satisfied customer.

Air conditioning went out upstairs the day I had company coming for a week. Middle of August and hot. Hottest place in the house. I called Rogue heating and air and they sent someone out that day and they were here for hours and only charged me for, the diagnostic coming out. They were able to get it running and told me I needed a whole new upstairs unit. It was old and would go out again soon. Fixing it would not be reliable in the long run. So they scheduled it for the next day. Rusty who came out and did the diagnostic and spent hours here was stellar. He explained things to me when I asked, and was tenacious in getting to the root of the problem. Austin came out after hours which I wasn’t charged for, to explain about putting in a new unit and even gave me a great deal on everything. Both men were professional knowledgeable, and had great customer service. My experience with Rogue heating and air has been excellent. I would recommend them highly to anyone.

Rogue Valley Heating and Air came through when we needed them. On a very hot Sunday our A/C unit suddenly started leaking large amounts of water onto the wall, floor and furniture. When Nik received my panicked call, after asking some pertinent questions about our unit, he calmly told me when he could get to us and what the weekend service charge would be. He arrived exactly when he said he would (and also called twice beforehand to let us know where he was). When he arrived he asked all the right questions, and after carefully checking the unit, went right to work on the repairs. He was both personable and professional, explaining exactly what was wrong, and what he was doing to fix our problem. When he left, the unit was working perfectly, and we have had no problems since. Prior to placing the call, we researched that the retail cost of a capacitor is between $25-$38 +/-. We were billed $330! When questioned, there was no explanation other than thats our price. We were told up front how much the service call would be, but the excessive price for the part should have been disclosed as well.7/13 UPDATE: Rogue Valley Heating & Air called us to discuss our situation, and it was mutually resolved. Having the opportunity to discuss and resolve the situation was much appreciated!

Ben and Taylor came out today for a pre-season check on our 13 year-old ducted, dual-fuel heat pump system. We have been experiencing issues w/an odd smell coming down from attic area (furnace located there), as well as lack-luster performance of the heat pump itself w/it making more noise than usual, and shutting down prematurely.The capacitor on the heat pump was found to be acceptable, but not as efficient as it should be, so we opted to replace. Not only was the capacitor replaced, but lots of spider webs were cleaned out of the panel, as well as the leaves and needles that had gathered on the platform.A propane leak was discovered, and additional service and repair was performed on the furnace. The furnace was leveled, and the hard to access capacitor was examined probably for the first time in 23 years! (Another company came out last year and did not inspect). The capacitor was the original (2001) but it was damaged and under performing so we opted to replace this one as well.Outstanding professionalism and service from both Ben and Taylor. Not only did they conduct themselves in a proffessional manner, they represented Rogue Valley Heating, Cooling and Electricical at the same level. If this was not true, I would not be able to describe in this review, what services were conducted, the fact that my nose does not lie (propane leaks smell like rotten eggs), confirmation of the year/make of the dual-fuel heat pump and that it is a R-410 which is better than a R-22 because it is better at absorbing and releasing heat. This means the refrigerant is used more efficiently which in turn does a better job of heating and cooling the house. See what I mean?Definitely recommend this company, and highly appreciate Ben and Taylor for their attention to detail and their respectful nature! They called before showing, kept us informed, and left the area they serviced in better shape than what they found.Sheri & Charles Mommerency

David, their service tech, has been out several times and located our problem, ordered parts and did an excellent job fixing the problem and explaining what was wrong and how to prevent future problems. SAVED THE DAY! In the midst of the 4th of July HEAT WAVE I was away and returned home to a AC unit in the fritz. The house was 96 degrees inside. I called every company and everyone was booked on emergency calls (as it was a Saturday)…a competitor even told me to call RV Heating & Air. Even though they were booked up- they called me the second there was a cancellation…Rusty got to my house writhing 20 min and was able to address the issue quick and easy. Couldn’t have asked for better service- especially in a pinch. Happy to add a maintenance plan, so that I know I’ll be in good hands moving forward. Thanks RV!

Their attitude towards customer service was remarkable and unexpected. I appreciate their extraordinary effort to come to my residence to resolve outstanding issues.In light of this customer service attitude and technical competence, I can recommend this contractor for any HVACneeds. I thank them in restoring confidence in using their services.====================================================Original PostJust got ripped off for replacement of heat pump capacitor. Was charged $429 for 1/2 hour tech call for a unit I purchased from them for $7000 in 2010. Never will fall for this excessive charge or do business with them again. Part cost at Amazon is$16. Average cost for rural Oregon is $180.

James Parker is absolutely amazing!If you ever get a small animal stuck in one of your vents inside your home, he will run right over and save your baby! Time is of the essence!Very important: turn off home unit, there is a blade system at the end of the ducts that can suck them in and kill them. Call immediately, your animal cannot get back up the vent on their own (nothing to grasp onto)!Protect your animal by duct taping your vents around the corners and the floor to seal it so your furry friend won’t lift it up and go on a dangerous mission!There are no other resources that can assist/ have the capability once your animal goes down your vent system in your home.$99.00Shout out to Claire, who answered the call at 3:45pm. With them closing at 4:30pm on a Friday after trying to find other resources and 5 hours later, she made it all happen!Thank you :)🙏

Ben did an amazing job of cleaning the Carrier unit - and altho our heating and cooling was working, he found a Capacitor that was barely functioning - After replacement - the SOUND LEVEL from the unit dropped dramatically, to the point where I wondered it the unit had been turned back on after the service

A/C unit stopped working @4:45 pm on July15,2024. Outside temperature 90°, Inside temperature 76°. Our A/C unit was installed in 2008 I figured the fan motor finally went caput 16 years old & all.I called the original installer of the unit and was told the earliest service date was 2 weeks out on the 29th. Needing to have an appointment I accepted the appointment date.Then I began making other calls for an earlier appointment.First call was Rogue Valley Heating & Air and I got a Thursday July 18th appointment Plus a very Hopeful If we have a cancellation well move you to the newer time.Overnight the inside temperature rose to 81° by 0215 & I was sweating like a greased pig. Miserable & Panicking sleeping & sweating just a nightmare.July 16th RV Heating & Air calls & moved us to Todays new time.Technician arrived B4 10am and knew what the problem was within 10 minutes!!! 10 Minutes!!!! Blown capacitor, literally exploded and our Technician had a replacement part in his truck!!!!!Repair & Service took maybe, MAYBE 20 minutes!!!!!RV Heating & Air are My go to Company for Life. Today outside temperature 107°, Inside temperature 76°!!!! Thank You RV Heating & Air!!!

I had issues with my ceiling fan, needed new stove fan, and electrical outlets in the garage for security cameras and installed a new camera. Justa and Zeb did an awesome job, overcoming obstacles and solutions with some of the repairs. Showed up on time and didnt waste any time getting started. They were both polite, courteous and respectful of my home. I would strongly recommend Rogue Valley Heating and Air/Electrical, this team is the best!

Not only did two of their workers come to our aid on a hot Friday night when our air conditioning quit working, but they were cordial, professional, and could repair the problem even though it was an older unit, at an extremely fair price. Had been trying to find a company to do a check & service on our heat pump when we bought a new home. (the company whose sticker was on the heat pump said they were not taking any new maintenance customers, as repair work was more profitable…), so was very pleased to find someone willing to do what we needed and to be there when/if we need repairs. So pleased, I promptly signed my mom up with them. Her heat pump hadn’t been serviced in a few years because her prior company said they would do the service, but no longer call to schedule when it was due. At her age, that means it is forgotten and not done until it is a crisis. This company did, very nicely, contact & schedule the maintenance service and showed up! The tech was professional yet friendly, discussed options for filters, and overall did a great job. We actually signed up with Alpha Air, and I don’t remember the name of the actual owner entity, but they are simplifying their branding to market as Rogue Valley Heating in our area, vs marketing multiple brands in southern Oregon. It doesn’t matter, because whichever brand is on the service van, same quality shows up!

Called on a Friday because temperatures were setting new seasonal highs and our heat pump shut down. Technician arrived on Monday. Everything was working perfectly when he left no more than an hour later. Signed up for periodical maintenance contract and ordered a new micro filter online. Feel good knowing the heat pump is in good shape after 10 years and most likely we serve us for at least another 10.

What a blessing to have my call answered so politely and quickly by Rogue Valley Heating and Air. I enjoyed talking with Randy ( what a helpful caring knowledgable service person) ! I called because my airconditioner stopped working and I noticed my guage was 91 degrees inside last night. I was pouring sweat and it felt dangerous. The pets were panting and slooped over. I looked at the new jar of coconut oil, normally harded. It was liquid! Randy fit me in and now as I write this its cooling! Im so thankful. I will use this quality, integrity, helpful company 100% of the time now. And Im putting them on my refridge. Thanks!!!
