Rich and his team are fantastic. Our hot water heater burst, water everywhere and no hot water at 5 am on a Saturday! I called the number listed, just hoping for any response later in the morning. By 8 am not only did I have a response but Rich had dropped off the replacement heater on his way to another job. I know we weren’t first on the list, so I assumed maybe our hot water heater could be fixed by Monday. Even though it was late in the day, when Rich arrive to replace the heater, he did. Same day! Rich is kind and understanding that people don’t want to live without their hot water! He worked after his normal business hours to make sure the job was done and to our satisfaction. Given that it was the weekend, we did pay a premium. But, the fact that we had hot water back within the same day was worth a little extra we had to pay. It was still reasonable based on what I’ve heard from friends and neighbors, after the fact. If you are in need of plumber, I feel comfortable and confident recommending RA Adams. -

Had a water heater burst during peak winter weather. Rich was able to come out and help not only fix the water heater but address a few other issues that might have lead to its demise. Very professional and made sure to explain everything in ways that I understood. Cant thank him enough. Highly recommended! -

Rich is the best... hands down. On a day when half the town was dealing with freezing pipes, Rich returned my call within minutes and was at my house within the hour. I know he was super busy, but still took the time to explain the problem and what steps were needed to fix. I cant recommend highly enough! -

Rich is fantastic. I have an older house and the pipes tend to freeze, no matter what we do. Rich is always prompt, efficient and reasonably priced. He doesnt overcharge and always provides excellent quality work. Since meeting Rich over 10 years ago, hes the only plumber we use. In fact, our entire building uses his services now. Hes fair and honest, which goes a long way with me. -

In the 5 years we have lived in our house, we have lost heat twice. The first was the month we moved in, and the second was this morning. Both times Rich came over and got it working again for a reasonable rate in less time than other plumbers would have taken to return my call. He is the first person I call and the first one I recommend. He is knowledgeable, honest and fair. -

My kitchen faucet stopped working last night. Rich was here first thing this morning and did a fast, efficient, professional, and reasonably priced job. I have used this service a number of times. It seems they were mostly urgent and Rich was RIGHT THERE when I needed him most. -

Richard is our go to guy for quality plumbing work. Today our old water heater caught on fire and needed to be replaced. I called in around 8a and well before noon Rich had come out, inspected the damage, installed a new hot water heater, cleaned up poor plumbing work by a different plumber, and removed the old heater: all for a reasonable price. Richard takes pride in is work, is happy to answer any questions, and is the first person Id recommend to someone needing a plumber. -

When our gas boiler recently stopped working Rich and Dave came right out to take a look and had it replaced the next day! He even brought over additional infrared space heaters to help us get through the short time we had without heat! I would highly recommend Adams Plumbing. -

Amazingly called Richard in a panic with an overflow in the basement on Labor Day and he asked for a photo to see if he could diagnose. He followed up within 15 minutes to see it on site and identified a block in the septic area. Told me where to dig as he went back to get equipment. After I found the cover I texted Richard back and he arrived back at the house within 5 minutes (my son said did you see the bat signal). He was able to unclog the blockage and the household was back to showering PLUS. Could not be more happier with Adams Plumbing and Heating...A HUGE 5 star rating! -

Rich is the best handyman I have dealt with. He is always professional and quick to get back to you- no matter the scale of the job (weve called him for our sewer lines backing up, as well as for minor leak repairs). Its hard to find someone to trust with home repairs, but from the first time Rich helped us out, we knew he was accountable and reasonable. Helps that hes very personable too! Couldnt recommend him enough! -

I have had the pleasure of working with this company twice for my home, and both times, the service has been exceptional.The first was a standard blocked drain. Showed up on-time, took care of it quickly, and charged us a reasonable price. Also explained to us what we could do differently to prevent them getting blocked in the future.But the second visit from this past Wednesday (two days ago) is what really warrants this review. Tuesday night, we had a problem with the water heater not working properly -- no hot water. We called and left a message with the answering service. I got a call first thing in the morning (630 or 7am), and he was at my house 15 minutes later. After a quick inspection, he described the exact problem in detail, without jargon or bull.He gave me the options, describing each. Knowing I would likely be facing problems sooner rather than later, and not wanting to have zero hot water with a 15-month old in the house, and another on the way in two months, I elected to replace the unit.As I know people are often likely to give lip-service to plumbers saying Yeah, well replace it and then wait years and years, I told him yes, lets replace it, and because I dont want to forget, lets get it on the books right now. He told me to could possibly do it the NEXT DAY! Two days before a holiday weekend, and hes telling me he might be able to get it done the next day. I was floored.He quoted me a rough price, describing what needed to be done. I was good with it, and we put things in motion. He told me he had a busy day, but might drop by later that day to just drop off the unit so it would be here and he could start first thing.Well, I get a phone call later in the morning, telling me something cleared up, and he and his son showed up JUST AFTER LUNCH! TWO HOURS later, old unit was out, new unit was in, and I was writing a check for $200 LESS than what he originally quoted me. The job was clean professional, and he walked me through what he had done with the installation, why it was better than what we had before, and knowing it would pass permit inspection -- BEFORE I wrote any check.I have a sink in the basement with a bad drain (self-install fail) and I will DEFINITELY be calling him to look at it when we have time. I am exceptionally happy with this company, and will be recommending it to anyone in my area. -
