    We are very pleased with the work that R Hammond and his team did on our house. They removed old cedar shingle siding and steel siding, put in 3 new windows, and installed new CertainTeed vinyl siding. From the beginning, Rick was very consultative and helped us to choose colors that would look great and function well with our house. He stopped by the jobsite often and made sure the crews were taking good care of us, our expectations, and our home.The crew cleaned up every day, they were friendly, and did a great job getting the work done.     What an amazing experience, hiring R. Hammond Construction to build a new screen room attached to our home! From the beginning of the process when we were trying to figure out exactly what we wanted built, Rick was patient and professional. He helped us decide the best choices for our needs and then his team got to work. Every single member of Rick’s crew were always on-time, polite and professional, patient and helpful, and put in a full day of excellent quality work! My husband and I are in awe over the quality of this build! Every detail was carefully crafted and hand built. No shortcuts for this company! And, the job site was cleaned up at the end of each work day - leaving nothing for us to do in the evening except for admiring the work that had been completed that day. Rick stayed in communication with us throughout the entire build and was actually on site several days, assisting in the project. He listened to our needs and made sure we got everything we asked for.Now that the project is complete and we are enjoying our new screen room, we find ourselves reflecting back on how it all came together and are so very pleased! The quality of the material and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations! We have nothing negative to report about our experience and would definitely hire R.     We made the mistake of going with someone we knew and was becoming a disaster. Winter was rolling in and the guy wouldn’t return my calls. We called Rick and let him know the urgency of getting our exposed extension both finished… but corrected structurally. He beat his original timeline provided and fixed the structural issues without having to tear the whole thing down and rebuild which saved us a lot of money. The crew was prompt, professional, and went above and beyond with the details. They were out there working through several snow storms also. I couldn’t be happier. Rick will get all our future work. He and his crew are that good and more importantly, trusted.

    Installing a door was a much bigger task than I hoped for and out of the 6 options I considered R Hammond was at the top of the list.Rick was so easy to work with for this door installation project. Hed answer text within minutes. I love the way the door came out AND the blinds in the sidelite was an awesome addition. I was hope for a full view without the middle bar but will work too. Id differently use his construction company again.

    Rick and his team were very professional, and I highly recommend his business. My wife and I had our roof replaced, and we had a ton of questions throughout the process. Rick was kind and quick to respond with all the information/ answers. We had a couple of problem areas with the roof in the past, and his team was eager to show us how they worked to fix and eliminate the issues with great resolve. The team was very courteous throughout the day, and you couldnt even tell they were on-site the next. All materials were cleaned up, with not a nail to be found. Great job to Rick and his team!!!     In in early November I contracted to have some siding replaced and three windows installed as well as a sliding glass door. Typically I would do this work myself but because I’m a little bit older now and windows and doors whaler I decided to contract the installations out. To be honest with you I couldn’t be any happier with the results if I had done them myself. Ricks crew is about as good a crew as I’ve ever seen. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to anybody that needed work done on their home.

    We went through a complete remodel, from a new roof down to a new furnace, water tank and AC unit. There is not an interior surface (wall or flooring) left untouched by Rick and his crew! They removed doors, opened walkways and updated this home from 2003 blah to 2021 gorgeous!     We used R Hammond Construction for a new roof a few years ago, and used them again in 2021 for a refurbishment of a balcony and a bathroom shower remodel. They did an excellent job and were super easy to work with. The crew was very professional and showed up at their communicated time every day which made planning our days so much easier. The finished product looks fantastic, and we have already begun talking to them about future projects at our house. I absolutely recommend them!

    Rick, came out and looked at our garage/shed that was left unfinished and had major issues that a previous contractor had left us with. He told us all the problems that needed corrected. When the time came to get the shed straightened out RHammond construction was the first company I called. Rick gave us a fair estimate for all the work that needed done. The crew was on time and prompt throughout the project. His crew did a fantastic job of turning an eyesore of a structure into a nice looking building. They straightened out the vinyl siding, put in headers on the doors, removed the much to small 4x4 porch post and replaced them with 4 6x6 post and vinyl wrapped them. The post turned out amazing and look so much better. They also rewrapped all the wood with aluminum and did a fantastic job with the wrapping. They had to put in numerous 2x4 studs to correct all the work of the previous contractor. The soffit over the porch had to be removed in order to put in furring strips to correct the sag in the soffit. It was a pleasure to work with a crew that took pride in there work. Thank you Rick and crew for saving our garage/shed.

    We were in the middle of a kitchen demo for a remodel only to find out the pantry we were removing and told wasnt load bearing was in fact load bearing. I needed someone to come in and place a support beam before we could go any further. We didnt have much time open before our kitchen install is supposed to take place..     My entire residential siding entire project went smoothly with the R. Hammond Construction Company. The results are stunning!!! The initial phase, planning and materials selection gave me both education and guidance on material selections and features. The actual installation was done with care and precision. Each element of the siding, gutter work, downspouts and trim work was completed neatly!The installers were courteous and left the site, each work day, in an orderly manner!When the project was completed, the entire home, and yard area was completely cleaned of any debris.Your siding needs will be completed by this first-class company!!!

    We discovered wind and hail damage on our roof and were granted an insurance claim to replace our roof, gutters and a gate to our fence that had been blown off by high wind. We had a few companies come out to give us a quote and were turned off by the companies who were extremely pushy and demanded to know the amount of money that the insurance company was giving us before doing anything else.Rick came out to take a look at everything and give us an estimate. As we walked around the house with him, he took notes and confirmed what was and wasnt included in the claim without ever asking the price our insurance company quoted us. When we finished walking around the house he showed us his notes, with his final number for the quote written down. He was off by $25 from what our insurance company was giving us to replace everything. This blew us away!! Rick was professional from start to finish. Never pushy, extremely knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and we never had any issues with communication. We knew what to expect from day 1 to completion!! His crew came out on one of the hottest days of the summer and installed a beautiful new roof, skylight window, gutters and fixed our fence gate. Everyone was very professional and executed the project perfectly and in a timely manner. I would recommend R Hammond Construction to everyone!!!!!!

    My experience was good with this company. All the workers were professional, timely and cleaned up the work area daily. The deck exceeded my expectations. There was a small delay waiting for decking materials from the manufacturer but it was because Hammond wanted to make sure there weren’t any seams in the steps. Overall I would recommend them for construction needs, I will be using them in the future for other home projects.

    We hired R Hammond for 2 recent jobs, a complete porch rebuild and an additional job that required removing a window and replacing it with an exterior door leading to a small deck and stairs.
